"Stayed in this hotel again after the combo tickets ended. Nice hotel and friendly staff. Could see Qinwang Palace and Dream Valley from the room. The non-smoking room was clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet was delicious, and had many varieties including some western food. Unlimited water bottles for guests. I also tried their free suan-mei soup which was very tasty. Laundry facility included a washer, a washer/dryer combo and space for hanging dry clothes. It took about 3 hours to dry clothes in the dryer."

"I stayed for 3 nights and chose a hotel that would be most convenient for exploring the Hengdian studios. Whilst the room could do with a bit of upgrade (eg adding a mini fridge that actually works, cleaner carpets etc), the whole experience deserves a 5 star because of the excellent support of all the staff members. They were really helpful and WeChat worked perfectly on this occasion, especially as my Chinese is very limited. The staff was especially helpful in making me feel as welcome as possible and to take special care of me. I would like to mention Edina who was always there over Wechat, if I had a question. I didn't use the restaurant nor any other facilities, but I'm already missing the quiet and relaxed surroundings of this Grand hotel. It was only a few minutes walk to one of the major Hengdian studio attractions. I also appreciated the free fruits served every day. I can recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates good service and proximity to the relevant Hengdian studios."

"Super fun! This was one of the theme hotels that were hidden on the Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street set. Appropriately, the Rosslyn Hotels' brand icon is the Landlady from Kungfu Hustle. Upon arrival, you check in at the North Gate's Tourist Services Desk. The concierge welcomed me with a complimentary bag of fresh fruit and asking me to add their butler (Housekeeper Xiao Xiao) to my WeChat. If I needed anything, I just had to text the Housekeeper Xiao Xiao (who was super helpful with all my questions (in English) during my stay). Then the bellhop whisked me away, via golf cart, to my hotel. There were several hidden hotels, with different themes, throughout the set. The bellhop took me through an unassuming door among into what looked like an empty set, and up an elevator to the room floors. The walkway offered a lovely view of the Ming Qing Palace set next door. The rooms were supposed to be themed as Guangzhou and Hong Kong in the 70s and 80s, but could easily pass for old Shanghai. The room was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable, the shower has nice and hot and with fantastic water pressure. The room has some of the largest closet space that I have seen in any hotel. The WiFi worked without the need to register a local cellphone number (I've found that many other hotels, in China, offered free WiFi, but you need to verify with an ID code text to you. The texts never come through to my U.S. phone number, so I have never been able to take advantage of free WiFi; that is until I got to this hotel.) The little details were delightful surprises around every corner. They always refer to guests as ”laoshi” (an honorific of teacher, or master, bestowed to actors) or as ”starlet”. Not gonna lie, I really wanted to take home the pair of the room's bone china cups. The stay also comes with very decent breakfast buffet that had both Chinese and western dishes. They will even make you fresh wontons and noodle soups to order. The restaurants in the park are not great and quite expensive by China's standard. I recommend loading up at the more tasty free breakfast to power through the day. The hotel's location was very convenient for touring Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street; which had very lively evening shows. (As you walk through the streets, look at the stores' signs and test your TV shows and movie knowledge by finding the Easter eggs.) The Qing Ming Palace Set is across the street from the Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street's South Gateon the other side of the park (don't worry, it's not that far). To access the other sets, you can take their shuttle, but it does not come around very often. It's more efficient to get a Didi. Overall, it was a magical stay of being in the movies."

"Der Transport ist sehr bequem und es liegt inmitten der malerischen Orte auf beiden Seiten von Hengdian, sodass ein Taxi zur Hong Kong Street oder zur Qingming Riverside Scene etwa 10 Yuan kostet. Vom S-Bahnhof aus müssen Sie nur die U-Bahn nehmen und dann einen Bus nehmen, um dorthin zu gelangen. Unten gibt es einen Supermarkt und einen Nachtmarkt, der zum Essen und Einkaufen sehr praktisch ist. Luckin, Cudi, KFC und McDonald’s haben sie. Die Nass- und Trockenbäder sind getrennt, so dass sich jeder waschen kann, ohne sich gegenseitig zu stören. Wenn man auf dem Liegestuhl im Zimmer sitzt, ist die Landschaft draußen sehr schön. Obwohl es in der Innenstadt liegt, gibt es nachts keinen Lärm, wenn es Zeit ist, ins Bett zu gehen, sodass Sie sich keine Sorgen um Zimmer in der Nähe der Straße machen müssen. Der Service ist enthusiastisch und an Ort und Stelle, Daumen hoch für das Personal👍"

"We had a wonderful time at the this amazing place. The crew was really friendly and helpful. The bed and shower was great. We did BBQ at our balcony which was very conveniente. Breakfast was full of ingredients. Hot springs are relaxed and warm. "I recently stayed at this fantastic hotel in Hengdian, and I cannot recommend it enough! From its unbeatable location to the exceptional service, everything about this place exceeded my expectations. The hotel is just a 4-5 minute walk from the Palace of Qin, making it incredibly convenient for exploring attractions. This palace is one of my favourites of all attractions in Hengdian. Despite being so close to the action, the hotel is surprisingly quiet. It’s also just a 10-minute walk to the Along the River Qing Ming Festival gate, and I loved strolling there in the evenings. The area is packed with amazing restaurants, and I highly recommend the grilled shop just 5 minutes away—it’s some of the best grilled food I’ve ever had! Lawson store is only 2-3 mins walk away! Desert and snacks are so yummy and much better than what you get from 7/11 convenient store in Australia. 😅😁 I stayed in a room on the 4th floor, and the view was great! The room itself was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel offers breakfast for just **18 yuan**, and the soup was particularly delicious. If you’re looking for more food options, the surrounding area is a food lover’s paradise. The hotel staff even helped me order food and recommended some fantastic dishes, which I paid for via Alipay. Their recommendations were spot-on, so don’t hesitate to ask them for suggestions! The staff truly went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Even though I don’t speak Mandarin, they were incredibly patient and helpful. One staff member even walked with me to the tourist center to help me get tickets! Since I stayed for 5 days, I opted for the Hengdian world studio yearly pass, which gave me unlimited access to all the attractions—some of which I visited multiple times. Along the river Qing and Ming festival - I recommend you to go there two - three times - one during the day time, one time around 5:00pm till late and then one time around 07:00. If you are a Song Dynasty lover like myself, you will never get sick of visiting this place. So many things to look at. Please use Baidu translate for Museum description. Very informative and transported back you to Song dynasty civilian life! If you’re planning to visit Hengdian World Studios, this hotel is the perfect base. You can take DiDi to other attractions and is very convenient. It’s clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near all the major attractions."

"We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel's location is near to many of the worlds studio scenary areas. Although the rooms are a bit old but it's clean. The breakfast is relatively simple but decent. As part of the gift for hotel booking, you will also get discount for the worlds studio tickets. The senior lobby receptionist, i think her name is 万德菊, who served my family is very friendly and helpful. She also told us that the hotel will be doing upgrading renovation next year. Hope to revisit after the hotel's renovation."
