"Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, daher wirkt der Teppich etwas schmutzig. Das Personal hat das aber absolut wettgemacht. Sie sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider war bei meiner Ankunft im Zimmer eine Lampe mit Bewegungsmelder defekt, aber sie wurde schnell repariert. Dieses Hotel ist definitiv empfehlenswert. Die Lage ist perfekt."

"Im Hotel blieb er nach dem Ende der Fahrkarten wieder. Sehr schönes Hotel und freundliches Personal. Kann Qinwang Palace und Dream Valley vom Zimmer sehen. Das Nichtraucherzimmer war sauber und geräumig. Das Frühstücksbuffet war lecker, und hatte viele Variante einschließlich einige westliches Essen. Unbegrenzte Wasserflaschen für Gäste. Ich habe auch ihre kostenlose Suan-Mei Suppe, die sehr schmeckt, versucht. Die Waschbecken umfassten einen Waschmaschine, einen Waschmaschine/Trocknerkombination und einen Raum für die Aufhängung trockener Kleidung. Es dauerte etwa 3 Stunden, um die Trockenkleidung im Trockner zu trocknen."

"The house keeping Xiao xiao and team is very responsive. Very prompt to answer questions and arrangements such as buggy to pickup and send to and fro from the room to the entrance. The setup is a reconstruction of the colonial treaty port era of the mid-19th to early 20th century, with a focus on the 1920s and 1930s. If you fancy this vintage experience, it's a lovely time spent. I love every single detail like the antique phone, Art Nouveau and shabby chic style room decor. It is an experience of time travel back to the era and the room package includes a costume for a day for full immersion. The staff like the cleaners and the street food vendors were so friendly and polite. My best experience throughout the stay 🩷🫶 Thank you."

"Ich war schon oft in Hengdian und habe immer im International Trade Hotel gewohnt, ich bin wirklich zufrieden. Der Service ist aufmerksam und herzlich, der gesamte Aufenthalt vom Check-in bis zum Check-out war angenehm. Das Personal war freundlich und geduldig. Die Zimmer sind sauber und hell, die Ausstattung ist gut gepflegt, sodass man sich sicher und wohlfühlt. Die Lage ist tadellos, alles zum Essen, Trinken und zur Unterhaltung ist bequem erreichbar, sehr gut geeignet für Touristen und Filmteams. "Ich habe dieses Jahr Hengdian für meinen Geburtstagsausflug ausgewählt. Das Einchecken im Hengdian Tourism Building war völlig unkonventionell. Ich habe dem Hengdian Tourism Building eine Zehn-Sterne-Bewertung gegeben 👍🏻 Ausstattung: Die Umgebung der beiden Gebäude des Hotels ist elegant und das Zimmer im mediterranen Stil ist voller Blau und Wärme sauber. Service: Ich möchte der aufmerksamen Frau Lili an der Rezeption meinen aufrichtigen Dank für die sorgfältige Vorbereitung von Geschenken und Arrangements für die Geburtstage meiner Kollegen aussprechen. Ich bin sehr berührt. Es gibt auch eine rundgesichtige Frau Xu an der Rezeption, der eine Brille trägt und alle malerischen Orte, Transportmöglichkeiten und Essen in Hengdian ausführlich empfohlen hat. "Ich war kürzlich im Foison Jewel Grand Hotel in Shanghai, und insgesamt war es eine angenehme Erfahrung. Der Service war hervorragend Personal war aufmerksam und freundlich, und die Einrichtungen waren gut gepflegt und komfortabel. Ich war jedoch etwas enttäuscht über das Frühstücksbuffet. Obwohl die Qualität der Lebensmittel gut war, war die Vielfalt der Optionen in der ”all-you-can-eat”-Verteilung etwas begrenzt. Eine größere Auswahl hätte die Erfahrung noch besser gemacht."

"We stayed at the Floral Hotel beside Dream Valley during Chinese New Year, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere in China. While the location is already a major advantage being just steps away from Dream Valley and close to the other Hengdian attractions - what truly sets this hotel apart is the heart and personality behind it. This is not a typical boutique hotel. It’s a place shaped by the owners’ passion, taste, and genuine care for their guests. From the moment you arrive, you can feel that the hotel is a labor of love. The architecture and interior design are beautifully curated, with many pieces collected by the owners over the years. Walking through the courtyard and hallways feels like stepping into a different era, almost like entering a scene from the Song dynasty. Yet the rooms themselves are fully modern, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. It’s a rare blend of historical atmosphere and contemporary convenience, and it creates a sense of immersion that you simply don’t get at most hotels in the area. Even though we didn’t stay in the hotel’s best room, we were extremely comfortable. The beds are very firm - something to keep in mind depending on your preference - but we slept well. The room features a large, modern soaking tub that’s perfect after a long day of walking through the film sets and a separate bathroom and shower. And one of our favorite touches was the smart projector in the room, which turns a simple movie night into a cinematic experience. It’s small details like these that show how much thought has gone into making the stay enjoyable. But the true highlight of our visit was the hospitality. The owners are warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making guests feel welcome. On one rainy day, when there wasn’t much for us to do outside, they invited us into their main hall for tea. They set up a traditional tea table with a heated brazier, creating a cozy, intimate atmosphere that felt like visiting old friends rather than staying at a hotel. They kept bringing local snacks: seeds, small rice cakes, and even freshly cooked sweet potato - all offered freely and with genuine kindness. My wife and kids loved every bit of it. What could have been a dull, rainy afternoon became one of our favorite memories of the entire trip. Their kindness extended beyond that moment. At one point, we accidentally made a mess in our room (entirely our fault) and the owners helped us clean up without a hint of frustration or judgment. It’s rare to find that level of patience and understanding, especially during the busy holiday season. Breakfast each morning was another highlight. The hotel has a local cook who clearly takes pride in her craft. The dishes were fresh and simple but full of flavor, prepared with care and attention. You could feel her pride in everything she served. It’s the kind of breakfast that makes you slow down and appreciate the home cooked moment, rather than rushing through a buffet line like at larger hotels. All in all, this hotel was a true win for us. The personal touches, the warmth of the owners, the passion of the cook, and the unique atmosphere created by the carefully collected antiques all come together to create an experience that stands out among the many boutique hotels in the area. In fact, I would say it’s probably better than any other hotel around Hengdian. It’s rare to find a place that feels both deeply rooted in local culture and fully equipped with modern comforts, but this hotel manages to do exactly that. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Hengdian, whether for the parks, the film sets, or simply a relaxing getaway. And if we ever return to the area, we would stay here again without hesitation."

"We chose this hotel because of its non-smoking policy [a lot of hotels in this town allow guests to smoke in the room]. We spent one day in a suite and one day in a 2-bed ”mountain view” room [view from our windows in the pictures] The 2-bed room was huge, 120cm beds, no fridge. The suite seemed bigger in the photos, nice, with a fridge and very big bathroom. Both rooms with A.C., both equipped with a universal charger, a tea set with 2 bottles of water 0,5l each, both with intelligent Xiao Du light, courtains, tv and wc system, windows equipped with mosquito nets. ”Mountain view” and some photos suggest 'Zen' style high end neighbourhood, but in reality it is a very, very regular chinese neighbourhood. There is only chinese name on the hotel building I think. We arrived one hour before the check-in time and get the room without any problem. The young female receptionist was extremely helpful and polite, used the translator app to communicate. She helped us to buy the right tickets and a hotel menager accompanied us to the nearest ticket office. The hotel is very close to the Qin palace and Dream Valley. There are 2 tourist bus lines (A and B) connecting most of the scenic spots, every 30 min, a ticket costs 2 r.m.b. one can pay in cash in the bus, this bus service stops about 4.30 p.m. Apple maps app works OK, google maps app does not work in China. We took a taxi from Yiwu station (1 hour) to get to the hotel, 170 r.m.b. and about 43 km one way if one goes the shortest way or 220 r.m.b. and about 63 km via highway, a taxi from Qingming palace costs about 20 r.m.b. There is an annual ticket for 898 r.m.b., this ticket is for one adult plus one child or just one adult - all 13 scenic spots included [Dream Valley excluded], one can enter each scenic spot only once a day. I think 2 scenic spots in one day is a max,  maybe 3 because most of the spots closes about 4.30 p.m., only one or two are closing about 8 p.m. There is no printed ticket only passport data in their system so you enter by showing the passport.The Hengdian Studios I think are not prepared for foreign tourists at all. Their printed map is very small, hard to read, does not show enter gates or ticket offices, their website is not helping, in theory there is an English version but with very little information, the chinese website is better but still not very helpful, there is no list of all 13 scenic spots or the opening hours, only information about the major ones."
