"Zum ersten Mal in Hengdian habe ich mich für das Hilton Garden Inn entschieden. Die Lage des Hotels ist großartig, mit vielen Restaurants und kleinen, empfehlenswerten Geschäften, die bei Influencern beliebt sind. Das Zimmer hat mir auch sehr gut gefallen, das Bett war bequem und ich habe hervorragend geschlafen. Alle Mitarbeiter, mit denen ich zu tun hatte, waren sehr freundlich, grüßten und verabschiedeten sich aktiv. Wenn ich die Gelegenheit habe, werde ich wieder hier übernachten."

"This place is highly recommended as it’s just next to Qing Wang Palace. Restaurants are in walking distance with discounts for hotel guests. Han Fu rental also around the corner with reasonable price. Breakfast at hotel is a great advantage as there are not many breakfast around. Also it’s about 20-30 mins from HSR station."

"I received a warm welcome from the staff, and while my Chinese is very poor, we managed to communicate well. One of the staff helped me to my room with my luggage, and I was offered a cup of tea on arrival. The room was amazing, and very clean. I chatted with the staff on my 3 days and found them to be very friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay here - I love the area too! And would definitely stay again (I loved this seating area!)"

"I stayed for 3 nights and chose a hotel that would be most convenient for exploring the Hengdian studios. Whilst the room could do with a bit of upgrade (eg adding a mini fridge that actually works, cleaner carpets etc), the whole experience deserves a 5 star because of the excellent support of all the staff members. They were really helpful and WeChat worked perfectly on this occasion, especially as my Chinese is very limited. The staff was especially helpful in making me feel as welcome as possible and to take special care of me. I would like to mention Edina who was always there over Wechat, if I had a question. I didn't use the restaurant nor any other facilities, but I'm already missing the quiet and relaxed surroundings of this Grand hotel. It was only a few minutes walk to one of the major Hengdian studio attractions. I also appreciated the free fruits served every day. I can recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates good service and proximity to the relevant Hengdian studios."

"完全對得起他的價格 早餐在這個價格之下，已經沒什麼好挑剔的了，有炒蔬菜，有炒飯炒粉，有麪包，沙拉，有蒸點，有現做的餅，荷包蛋，茶葉蛋，有面檔。口味也都過得去。簡單吃吃。 酒店位置很好，離地鐵挺近的，地鐵從金華始發，途徑義烏，東陽，橫店火車站，到橫店，所以出路真的很方便，打車的話東陽這邊也很便宜 設施：房間很不錯，面積不算小，乾濕分離，裝修也很有設計感，很新 衞生：衞生還是可以的，浴室稍微有一點黴味，但還可以 服務：服務相當好，非常喜歡前台的小姐姐，小哥哥也很負責，有一天半夜被敲門聲敲醒了，有點害怕，我們也沒敢開門，第二天去前台反應情況，第二天早上，前台的小哥哥和我們説他們查過監控了，是一個小朋友挨個的敲門。"

"Super fun! This was one of the theme hotels that were hidden on the Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street set. Appropriately, the Rosslyn Hotels' brand icon is the Landlady from Kungfu Hustle. Upon arrival, you check in at the North Gate's Tourist Services Desk. The concierge welcomed me with a complimentary bag of fresh fruit and asking me to add their butler (Housekeeper Xiao Xiao) to my WeChat. If I needed anything, I just had to text the Housekeeper Xiao Xiao (who was super helpful with all my questions (in English) during my stay). Then the bellhop whisked me away, via golf cart, to my hotel. There were several hidden hotels, with different themes, throughout the set. The bellhop took me through an unassuming door among into what looked like an empty set, and up an elevator to the room floors. The walkway offered a lovely view of the Ming Qing Palace set next door. The rooms were supposed to be themed as Guangzhou and Hong Kong in the 70s and 80s, but could easily pass for old Shanghai. The room was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable, the shower has nice and hot and with fantastic water pressure. The room has some of the largest closet space that I have seen in any hotel. The WiFi worked without the need to register a local cellphone number (I've found that many other hotels, in China, offered free WiFi, but you need to verify with an ID code text to you. The texts never come through to my U.S. phone number, so I have never been able to take advantage of free WiFi; that is until I got to this hotel.) The little details were delightful surprises around every corner. They always refer to guests as ”laoshi” (an honorific of teacher, or master, bestowed to actors) or as ”starlet”. Not gonna lie, I really wanted to take home the pair of the room's bone china cups. The stay also comes with very decent breakfast buffet that had both Chinese and western dishes. They will even make you fresh wontons and noodle soups to order. The restaurants in the park are not great and quite expensive by China's standard. I recommend loading up at the more tasty free breakfast to power through the day. The hotel's location was very convenient for touring Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street; which had very lively evening shows. (As you walk through the streets, look at the stores' signs and test your TV shows and movie knowledge by finding the Easter eggs.) The Qing Ming Palace Set is across the street from the Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street's South Gateon the other side of the park (don't worry, it's not that far). To access the other sets, you can take their shuttle, but it does not come around very often. It's more efficient to get a Didi. Overall, it was a magical stay of being in the movies."

"We stayed at the Floral Hotel beside Dream Valley during Chinese New Year, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere in China. While the location is already a major advantage being just steps away from Dream Valley and close to the other Hengdian attractions - what truly sets this hotel apart is the heart and personality behind it. This is not a typical boutique hotel. It’s a place shaped by the owners’ passion, taste, and genuine care for their guests. From the moment you arrive, you can feel that the hotel is a labor of love. The architecture and interior design are beautifully curated, with many pieces collected by the owners over the years. Walking through the courtyard and hallways feels like stepping into a different era, almost like entering a scene from the Song dynasty. Yet the rooms themselves are fully modern, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. It’s a rare blend of historical atmosphere and contemporary convenience, and it creates a sense of immersion that you simply don’t get at most hotels in the area. Even though we didn’t stay in the hotel’s best room, we were extremely comfortable. The beds are very firm - something to keep in mind depending on your preference - but we slept well. The room features a large, modern soaking tub that’s perfect after a long day of walking through the film sets and a separate bathroom and shower. And one of our favorite touches was the smart projector in the room, which turns a simple movie night into a cinematic experience. It’s small details like these that show how much thought has gone into making the stay enjoyable. But the true highlight of our visit was the hospitality. The owners are warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making guests feel welcome. On one rainy day, when there wasn’t much for us to do outside, they invited us into their main hall for tea. They set up a traditional tea table with a heated brazier, creating a cozy, intimate atmosphere that felt like visiting old friends rather than staying at a hotel. They kept bringing local snacks: seeds, small rice cakes, and even freshly cooked sweet potato - all offered freely and with genuine kindness. My wife and kids loved every bit of it. What could have been a dull, rainy afternoon became one of our favorite memories of the entire trip. Their kindness extended beyond that moment. At one point, we accidentally made a mess in our room (entirely our fault) and the owners helped us clean up without a hint of frustration or judgment. It’s rare to find that level of patience and understanding, especially during the busy holiday season. Breakfast each morning was another highlight. The hotel has a local cook who clearly takes pride in her craft. The dishes were fresh and simple but full of flavor, prepared with care and attention. You could feel her pride in everything she served. It’s the kind of breakfast that makes you slow down and appreciate the home cooked moment, rather than rushing through a buffet line like at larger hotels. All in all, this hotel was a true win for us. The personal touches, the warmth of the owners, the passion of the cook, and the unique atmosphere created by the carefully collected antiques all come together to create an experience that stands out among the many boutique hotels in the area. In fact, I would say it’s probably better than any other hotel around Hengdian. It’s rare to find a place that feels both deeply rooted in local culture and fully equipped with modern comforts, but this hotel manages to do exactly that. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Hengdian, whether for the parks, the film sets, or simply a relaxing getaway. And if we ever return to the area, we would stay here again without hesitation."
