Pienza Villen

Ich war krank und fast kalt, so dass ich frühzeitig zum Hotel gekommen war, andere Gäste wurden erlaubt, früh zu bleiben, aber ich musste lange warten, weil die Reinigung noch nicht abgeschlossen ist. Ich habe es gemacht. Die Frau, die für die Sache verantwortlich war, namens Ellie, war sehr verrückt, und konnte nicht einmal um drei Uhr ins Zimmer kommen. Sagen Sie mir, dass die Damen, die den Buszeitplan halten, sehr freundlich sind. Das Zimmer ist ein kleines Zimmer ohne Sicht (Bitte geben Sie das bei der Auswahl an) Die Bequemlichkeit ist nur Saft und Schale, ohne Wasserschlauch. Das Wetter ist sehr kalt, weil es auf dem Berg ist, keine Wärme. Als ich zum Rezeptor gehte, sagte eine Frau, dass ich im Zimmer sein sollte, wenn nicht, kann ich nicht das Geschirr des Restaurants mit warmem Wasser leihen. Ich war kalt, weil das Wetter sehr kalt war, und ich hatte Probleme, weil ich Wasser in einem Wasserbehälter verbrennen und ein paar heiße Tee trinken wollte. Das Restaurant ist sehr freundlich und als ich sagte, dass es schmerzhaft ist, teilen sie sich die Schmerzen. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten zum Frühstück, und die Landschaft des Restaurants ist wunderschön. Es ist ein guter Preis, aber ich denke, wenn Sie denken, es ist ４ Sterne, das wird enttäuschend sein. Es gibt viele andere billige und schöne Hotels in Pienza.

Great choice for touring Val D'Orcia. Stayed two nights here in April. This was our third visit to Pienza but our first overnight stay. Picked the Corsignano primarily because it offered free on-site parking and was only a short walk to the the old walled town. Delighted with our choice. It ticked all of the boxes. Friendly reception, nice (very) clean room with terrace, comfortable bed, great shower, good breakfast, short walk to the beautiful old city and great restaurants. Free on-site parking was actually quite limited and was full when we arrived. The receptionist moved her own car to free up a space for us. No problem the second evening. The receptionist did inform us that due to government requirements for energy conservation we would need to call the desk to turn on the heat if we wanted it. We encountered this in other hotels also. We were very comfortable without it. Pienza is the ideal location for touring and enjoying the Val D'Orcia and the most beautiful areas of Tuscany. The views approaching Pienza from the south in the evening are stunning and unforgetable and the views from the Belvedere behind the Duomo are pure magic. The iconic winding cypress roadway at La Foce and the tiny Capella Vitaleta are just a short drive away - (the Capella is now open to the public down a 15 minute walk) Everywhere you look is a painting. Pure magic!!

Perfekte Unterkunft zum Besuch von Pienza&Val d'Orcia. Katia war sehr nett und sehr verfügbar sowohl bei der Buchung als auch beim Einchecken und Auschecken. Sehr guter Preis, kostenfreier Parkplatz im Coop-Gebiet, nicht einmal 5 Gehminuten. Frühstück ist ”mit dir selbst” im Zimmer oder wenn es auch im Garten schön ist. Rein und gut eingerichtetes Zimmer, wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Wir würden sicher hier bleiben.

Wir haben uns bei Ankunft über die Lage des Hotels super gefreut. Es liegt direkt am Eingang zu Pienza und alles ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Top auch - bei den hohen Temperaturen - das Parken in der Garage. Leider funktionierte die Klimaanlage nur als Lüfter, die Kühlung war ausgefallen. Wir haben das 2 mal an der Rezeption bemängelt und gebeten, die MAintenance zu schicken. Jedes Mal das Feedback, alles in Ordnung. Beim checkout auch ungläubiges lamentieren, ist doch ein zentrales System. Habe auch vorgeschlagen gemeinsam in die Suite zu gehen, die 29 Grad zu „erleben“. Das wäre nicht nötig, funktioniert doch… Das es nicht mal ein „sorry“ gab, war dann auch kein Wunder mehr. Schade um das ansonsten schöne Hotel.

We had the most amazing stay with our family of 2 adults and 4 year old twin boys. From the moment we arrived, Bertina and the entire staff made us feel welcome. Our room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of towels for the shower and pool were provided as well as a stock of shampoo, body wash, soap, shower cap, and slippers. The restaurant is wonderful! We enjoyed a 3 course sampler and of course wine! The breakfast spread is included and a great way to start your day. We also joined the cooking class and our children had the most fun getting messy and playing with the foods as well as feeling helpful preparing special parts of the meal (picking bay leaves for the group). The location is right between Pienza and Montepulciano. It is an hour drive to Siena and easily accessible to other Tuscan towns. It was too cold to enjoy the pool but we loved sitting by it and taking in the beautiful view of Pienza in the distance. This place is even more beautiful in person than the photos online. We would absolutely visit again!!! This was the perfect place to start our Italian vacation.
