Villa Tortorelli is a charming mix between a bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible. Check-in & First Impressions The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect. One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues. Room & Comfort I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning. The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily. One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets. Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right. The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. One Minor Issue The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable. Final Thoughts Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt in der Villa il Palagio angenehm. Das 50 m² große Apartment, das wir gebucht hatten, war geräumig und komfortabel. Es wurde zwar keine tägliche Reinigung angeboten, aber das war kein großes Problem, da dies in 4-Sterne-Hotels üblicher ist. Das Frühstück bot eine anständige Auswahl mit köstlichen Kuchen und herzhaften Optionen wie Schinken und Käse. Die Lage, obwohl 40 Autominuten von Florenz entfernt, bot malerische Ausblicke auf die Landschaft und praktische Restaurants innerhalb von 5 Autominuten. Es ist erwähnenswert, dass während unseres Aufenthalts Ende April einige Einrichtungen geschlossen waren, aber wir gehen davon aus, dass der Pool im Mai geöffnet wird. Besonders hervorzuheben war die englischsprachige Rezeptionistin, die zu der insgesamt positiven Erfahrung beitrug.

Wir vermissten einen Flug und brauchten einen Tagsraum, um zu ruhen, bis wir später nach Großbritannien zurück fliegen konnten. Dies ist so nah am Flughafen und war cool und komfortabel. Keine Frills, sondern ein sauberes Bett, um zu ruhen, genau das, was wir brauchten, danke für die letzte Minute Verfügbarkeit.

We had such a lovely stay here! The service was excellent, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a huge variety of options. The cakes were a definite highlight for us. The hotel itself was so peaceful, the location was great, and the pool was both amazing and incredibly relaxing

’Old style’ hotel with clean and ok room. Just perfect for stop if you are e.g. having early flight. Nice breakfast. Met only one person who spoke english. Maybe different siruautomaatit as the season starts.

Die Umgebung ist gut, die Landschaftsaussicht, die Hoteleinrichtungen sind in der Alten Italiens gewöhnt Das Frühstück ist nicht schlecht, es gibt einen Pool, die termische Satonia ist natürlich auch sehr nahe, 10 Minuten Fahren zu haben. Das ist ganz gut.

La Cascina è molto carina anche se in una posizione un po’ penalizzante per via della strada molto stretta. Le camere ampie, ben arredate in stile antico, un bel giardino, ottimo parcheggio, bagno ampio e ben dotato, tv un po’ piccola x la distanza dal letto. La colazione potrebbe essere un po’ più varia e curata per ottenere il massimo del punteggio. Personale gentile

정말 고급스럽고 좋은 와인 리조트였습니다. 토스카나의 또 다른 매력을 느낄 수 있는 곳이었네요. 와이너리 투어도 너무 좋았습니다~ 다만 로마에서 렌트해서 왔던지라 로마에서 가기에 위치는 조금 머네요ㅠ 전반적으로 너무 만족스러운 숙박이었습니다. 호텔 객실은 리치칼튼 같은 느낌이 살짝 있네요~

The best say in Florence. A natural Vila managed by a family. Lovely place and beautify. Loved it! 100% recommended. Breakfast is amazing.
