Exceptional Stay! Sanjian Seaview Hotel was truly one of the highlights of my trip to Dali. Facing the beautiful Erhai Lake with breathtaking views of the majestic Cangshan Mountains, the scenery was simply stunning from sunrise to sunset. The room itself was spacious, clean, comfortable, and impeccably maintained. I especially loved the fully smart-controlled features adding a modern and luxurious touch to the stay. Combined with the panoramic views of Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain, it created a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. Every corner of the property is thoughtfully designed, making it incredibly aesthetic and Instagram-worthy. The food was another highlight. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and supper were all included, with a wide variety of choices and incredibly generous portions. As someone with a smaller appetite, I requested reduced portions, and the staff were more than happy to accommodate my request. Their attentiveness and flexibility were greatly appreciated. One unique feature was the complimentary photography session offered by the hotel. With such stunning scenery as the backdrop, it was hard to resist. The photographer was young, passionate, professional, and knew exactly how to make guests feel comfortable in front of the camera. Fair warning - you may arrive intending to enjoy only the complimentary photos, but you might find yourself purchasing a photo package because the results turn out far better than expected! Although the hotel is located slightly away from the popular tourist attractions, I found this to be one of its greatest strengths. Away from the crowds and bustle of the tourist hotspots, the hotel offers a peaceful and tranquil retreat where guests can truly relax and appreciate the natural beauty of Dali. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, making the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, this was more than just a hotel stay, it felt like a place where time slowed down. Leaving was the hardest part. For a brief moment, I found myself wondering what it would be like to stay a few more days, or perhaps forever. It was the kind of place that made the outside world feel a little less urgent and every moment a little more precious. A truly memorable stay, and one that I will look back on fondly long after leaving Dali.

By far my best experience in China (* ´ ▽ ` *) I would have given a 10-star rating if I could! 1. Location: Walking distance to everything. 1-200 meters to ancient town main street. 2. Facilities: The homestay is locates right by the Erhai lake with wonderful view throughout the day. I stayed in a room without direct lake view but there is a restaurant and lobby with very nice decoration where we took a lot of lake photos. The common scenic spot on 3F is unique and very beautiful. I got a free photoshoot by professional photographer also, he's really nice and quick-witted. We had some very nice photos. The room is clean and well-maintained (I got free upgraded to a bigger room, assumed becuz of the off-season). We had everything we need. Open the window and the room is always full of fresh air, there is a window net to prevent insects in place. The breakfast included in room fare was a big nice surprise also. The preparation looked wholehearted, the food was fresh and like a mini buffet, simple yet sumptious. I don't think we can get something like that at outside restaurants for under 100y/pax. 3. Customer service: The BEST part of this facilities. The staff (Xiao Yang, Xiao Zhi, Pei jie) are so friendly, patient and always went out and beyond their way to make the guests feel comfortable: - They called 1 day ahead of the stay to confirm details and even helped me book local carpooling to save money - They helped me take the luggage from car drop-off to hotel (a short walk as the homestay is located within the ancient town, car cannot go in) - They answered literally every request in very fast manner - Nice little F&B freebies are soooooo nice Totally 5-star hotel service at a local homestay 😂 Shuanglang itself is a very chill and relaxing place to visit in Dali, wonderful for people who like to wander and enjoy the view. But the experience at this homestay made it 10 times better for me and my husband. Would definitely recommend to friends and come back if I visit Shuanglang again. 在中国住过最棒的一次民宿 (* ´ ▽ ` *) 如果能打10星我一定毫不犹豫！ 1. 地理位置： 走路去哪儿都方便，离双廊古镇主街只有一两百米，超级近！ 2. 设施环境： 民宿就在洱海边上，一整天都有超赞的湖景。虽然我住的房间不是正对湖景，但餐厅和大厅的装修很有氛围，我们在那拍了好多洱海美照。 三楼的公共观景台也很特别，真的很美！还有专业摄影师免费帮我们拍照，人超好又机灵，照片效果很棒～ 房间干净又维护得很好（可能因为淡季还免费升级了大房间，赚到了）。该有的都有，窗户一开就是新鲜空气，还有纱窗防蚊虫，贴心！ 房价里包含的早餐也是惊喜，看得出是用心准备的，食材新鲜，像个迷你自助餐，简单却丰盛。外面餐厅要吃到这种水平估计得100块/人以上了。 3. 服务体验： 最最最加分的就是服务！小杨、小志、沛姐人都超好，耐心又热情，真的把客人当朋友照顾： 入住前一天就打电话确认，还帮我订了当地拼车，省了不少钱 到了之后还帮我从停车点把行李搬到民宿（因为古镇里车进不去） 有求必应，回复速度超快 还有各种小吃小饮料免费送，太贴心了！ 简直是五星级酒店的服务标准，在地道民宿里体验到了 😂 双廊本身就是个很适合放松、随便走走看看风景的地方。但这次住在这家民宿，让我和老公的旅程幸福感直接翻十倍！强烈推荐给朋友们～下次来双廊一定还住这里！

Als ich damals die Unterkunft ausgesucht habe, hatte ich zwei Optionen für meine Freunde, die andere war in der Nähe von Caicun, direkt am Erhai-See. Meine Freunde sind etwas pingelig und wollten unbedingt eine Unterkunft mit komplett getrennter Nass- und Trockenzone, daher haben wir uns letztendlich für dieses hier entschieden. Für uns als Hundebesitzer ist dieser Ort wirklich toll, wir lieben die beiden Shiba Inus hier einfach! Die beiden Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren auch super herzlich, haben uns Attraktionen in Dali empfohlen und uns sogar mit dem Gepäck geholfen. Unsere beiden Doppelzimmer im Erdgeschoss waren sehr praktisch und auch nicht laut. Zum Frühstück gab es zwei Menüs zur Auswahl, und wenn es nicht genug war, konnte man auch nachbestellen. Am letzten Tag sind wir um 7:10 Uhr aufgestanden, sind in den 4. Stock gegangen und haben den Sonnenaufgang gesehen, was sehr praktisch war. Ein kleiner Hinweis ist, dass meine Freunde sagten, die Gemeinschaftstoilette in der Bar im Erdgeschoss hätte einen Geruch. Sie sind da etwas empfindlich, da sie direkt nebenan gewohnt haben.

Mein Aufenthalt im Hotel war absolut wunderbar. Von dem Moment, als ich ankam, war die Erfahrung nahtlos staff mich warm am pick-up-Punkt und effizient über Buggy nach dem Hotel transportiert. Sie bereiteten das Zimmer früh vor, so dass ich vor der Zeit und Ruhe überprüfen konnte. Die Lage ist atemberaubend, mit erstaunlicher Aussicht auf Erhai. Aufwachen bis zum Sonnenaufgang vor dem See war unvergesslich, und das Hotel hat sogar einen Dachdeck, wo ich die Aussicht in einer ruhigen, offenen Lage genießen könnte. Eine der Highlights meines Aufenthalts war der Kaffeereich, schön vorgestellt und komplimentar. Es war ehrlich gesagt einer der besten Kaffees, die ich je hatte. Die Mitarbeiter waren konsequent positiv, engagierend und unglaublich hilfreich. Sie halfen mir mit allem, was ich brauchte, einschließlich der Buchung eines E-Scooters über ihre lokale App, da ich keine chinesische Nummer hatte. Sie gingen aus ihrem Weg, um zu helfen, niemals einmal zeigten irgendeine Abneigung oder Frustration. Mein Zimmer war spotless und schön gestaltet, mit bedenklichen Touchs wie ein Wasserdispenser und Feuchtigkeitsspritzer, die mein Aufenthalt noch komfortabler machten. Frühstück war ein weiterer Highlight, Herzwärmer, und klar mit Pflege vorbereitet. Es gibt ein paar kleine Verbesserungen, die die Erfahrung noch weiter erhöhen könnten: ein kleines Sitz, das sich während der Aufhängung von Schuhen, eine Jacke hängend an der Einfahrt, und Blinde, die auf eine Halbhöhe-Einstellung anstelle nur vollständig offen oder Das heißt, diese sind kleine Details in dem, was sonst ein außergewöhnlicher Aufenthalt war. Das war wirklich eine der besten Hotelerfahrungen, die ich je hatte.

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was spacious, modern, and comfortable, providing plenty of space to relax after a day of sightseeing. The room service was prompt, efficient, and attentive, with the staff always happy to help. One feature we particularly appreciated was the pillow menu, which offered different types of pillows to suit individual sleeping preferences and made our stay even more comfortable. The fitness centre was also well equipped, with a good variety of machines and equipment, making it easy to keep up with our workout routine while travelling. Overall, this is a comfortable and well-managed hotel with excellent service and facilities. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Dali.

I stayed at Darling Darling Villa and overall had a pleasant experience, with a mix of highlights and a few areas that could be improved. Location: The villa is conveniently located about 10–14 minutes from Dali Ancient Town, which makes it easy to explore while still enjoying a quieter stay. Room & Facilities: The room was very spacious and big, which was a huge plus. The bathtub was exceptionally large, easily fitting a family of four. However, the area where the tub connects to the floor showed cracking paint, which suggests some lack of maintenance. The steps leading up to the bathtub were also quite slippery, so caution is needed. The toilet area lacked sufficient lighting and did not have an enclosed space. Considering that food in Yunnan often makes bowel movements very “smooth,” the ventilation for odors was rather poor, which could be uncomfortable. There were also flies around the shower area, which was not very pleasant. The basin was slightly low for face washing, but still manageable. Service: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They assisted with carrying our luggage during both check-in and check-out, which was much appreciated. For foreigners, do note that check-in may take longer due to the registration process. Communication via WeChat was fast and responsive, which made things very convenient. One suggestion: please provide clear instructions for using the washing machine—I had some difficulty figuring it out. Thankfully, the staff kindly helped me. Thank you, 小哥哥! 🥺 Rooftop & Views: The rooftop view was stunning, perfect for stargazing. However, we visited during winter and it was extremely cold, so dress warmly if you plan to spend time there. Transportation: The drop-off area is located in a narrow alley, so be sure to inform your cab driver in advance. Otherwise, you may need to carry heavy luggage from the main road, which can be inconvenient. Overall: Darling Darling Villa offers great views, spacious rooms, and genuinely warm service. With some improvements in maintenance, lighting, ventilation, and cleanliness, it could be an even better stay.

Heartwarming Service but Disappointing Room Layout & Location 1. Amazing Staff Support: • As foreigners without Chinese phone numbers, we couldn't rent the ”Snoopy” electric cars. The staff went above and beyond, using their own accounts to scan, pay, and even remotely lock/unlock the cars for us throughout the day. They even handled the return process when there were technical issues. • Flexible Service: They were kind enough to serve breakfast at 8:00 AM (30 minutes earlier than scheduled) to accommodate our early plans. ＞＞＞ The staff here are the biggest plus. They were incredibly welcoming, enthusiastic, and supported us throughout our stay in Dali. Whether it was helping with our heavy luggage or providing local recommendations, their hospitality was genuine and much appreciated. 2. Room Layout: Not as Expected We booked a ”2-bedroom suite,” but it was actually two separate rooms with private entrances and no shared indoor area. The second room was extremely small; with two large suitcases open, there was almost no space to move. The photos on the listing were quite misleading regarding this separate layout. 3. Location & Accessibility The homestay is in a quiet, isolated area with no shops or restaurants within walking distance. You have to take a taxi for everything (5–30 mins to major attractions), which adds significant costs to your trip. ===＞ While the people here are wonderful, the high price doesn't quite match the room's convenience and location. Best suited for those who don't mind taking taxis and want a quiet stay.

I booked a two-night stay here and had high expectations for my vacation. However, the first thing that happened was an extremely uncomfortable check-in. Two female staff members were incredibly unfriendly; the hotel had no elevator, and there was no luggage porter. One staff member even insisted we carry our large luggage ourselves because the hotel didn't have an elevator. The free hot pot meal was only for the broth; the side dishes had to be ordered separately. We booked four rooms, but when my friend couldn't eat the spicy broth and asked for a different broth, we were charged extra. The hallway lights are turned off after 10:30 PM, so if you're returning late, you'll have to use your phone's flashlight to find your way. The photography service was also unsatisfactory. We had four rooms, but only two were photographed. I requested that the photographer let me go first and the other person take photos later after changing clothes, but the photographer was unhappy and insisted on taking photos at the same time. The photographer, in particular, did not have a friendly or open attitude, nor the manner of a professional service provider. Breakfast was delicious and suited our taste, but the staff were somewhat negligent in their service. We ordered our main course first but were served later, or they forgot to include the side dishes. On check-out day, the hotel scored points with the extremely enthusiastic assistance from a young man in a blue jacket (29/4). The staff member in the blue jacket was very professional, coordinating everything and seemingly understanding that I wasn't entirely satisfied with the hotel. He coordinated everything, from carrying our luggage from the room to the lobby to taking it to the taxi, working with the photographer, and even offering us complimentary tea as an apology and thank you for our stay. Overall, aside from the issues that affected our mood on the first day, the hotel was quite comfortable and clean, worthy of a vacation (although a bit far from the city center). If the hotel can address these shortcomings, I think this will be a wonderful experience for us. Best regards.

Zimmer 105 verfügt über einen eigenen kleinen Garten und einen Swimmingpool. Die Tür des Zimmers kann vollständig geöffnet werden. Die Begrünung des B&B ist sehr angenehm. Das B&B liegt hinter dem Cangshan-Berg. Vom Dach aus können Sie den Erhai-See und den Cangshan-Berg sehen. Sie können das Südtor der antiken Stadt Dali erreichen, indem Sie den Hang hinuntergehen und die Straße etwa 700 bis 800 Meter überqueren. Das Personal im B&B ist sehr enthusiastisch und gesprächig. Es gibt jeden Tag Reisnudelfrühstück, heiße Milch und einen Obstteller, sie können im Grunde alle Wünsche erfüllen. Auf jeden Fall bin ich mit allem sehr zufrieden und es gefällt mir. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass die Schalldämmung des Raumes so laut ist, dass ich das Gefühl habe, nicht schlafen zu können Beim Gehen in Ihrem eigenen Zimmer war das Geräusch des Wassers in der Dusche so laut, dass es sich anfühlte, als würde ich in meinem eigenen Zimmer duschen ... Nachdem ich diese Situation dem Mann an der Rezeption gemeldet hatte, nahmen sie es zur Kenntnis ernst genommen und es nicht oberflächlich behandelt. Ich freue mich darauf, Dali das nächste Mal zu besuchen und werde bei Gelegenheit wieder auf Sie zurückkommen!
