"Ich hatte ursprünglich geplant, für zwei Nächte zu bleiben, aber ich musste meine zweite Nacht annullieren. Das Personal war sehr verständlich und gut zu Hause, was ich wirklich geschätzt habe. Das Zimmer war einfach und funktional. Es war nichts besonders luxuriös, aber es hatte alles, was ich brauchte. Das Bett war komfortabel, die Klimaanlage funktionierte gut, und das Badezimmer war überraschend geräumig angesichts der Größe des Zimmers. Ich genossen auch die Aussicht vom Zimmer. Das Frühstück war gut, und das Hotel selbst war sehr sauber und gut organisiert. Der Fokus meines Aufenthalts war definitiv das Personal. Auch wenn es eine Sprachbarriere gab, machten sie wirkliche Anstrengungen, um zu kommunizieren und zu helfen, in jeder Weise, wie sie konnten. Ihre Freundschaft und Professionalität haben einen sehr positiven Eindruck gehabt. Insgesamt ist das ein sauberes, praktisches Hotel mit hervorragender Service, und ich empfehle es den Reisenden, einen komfortablen Aufenthalt in Yangon zu suchen."

"Zum zweiten Mal innerhalb von 14 Tagen in diesem Hotel, diesmal mit einem Zimmer-Upgrade und doppeltem Stadtblick. Es ist schwer, in Yangon ein Hotel mit einem besseren Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis zu finden. Es ist ein 5-Sterne-Hotel, aber man zahlt wie in einem 3-Sterne-Hotel! Das Frühstück war wieder einmal hervorragend. Das Restaurant ist ausgezeichnet und bietet sowohl À-la-carte-Gerichte als auch ein reichhaltiges Buffet. Der Pool und der Massagebereich laden zum Verweilen ein."

"Balmi Hotel is located in the heart of the city, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the room was reasonably clean, offering a comfortable stay. However, I did encounter an issue that needs attention. I spotted two small cockroaches during my stay. While this did not ruin my experience, it needs to improve pest control measures. Addressing this would greatly enhance the overall quality of the stay. Despite this, Balmi has a lot to offer and could easily be a top choice for travelers once this issue is resolved."

"The Strand Yangon ⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎ ★★★ Leider verfiel das Hotel im Laufe der Jahre, bis in die 1980er Jahre, völlig. Amanresorts-Gründer Adrian Zecca erkannte jedoch seinen Wert und investierte in den Erhalt des historischen Gebäudes, indem er mit Renovierungsarbeiten begann. 1993 konnte er es erfolgreich wiederbeleben. Mit anderen Worten: Dieses Hotel ist ein Beweis für die Leidenschaft zweier Hotellegenden. Was wie Standardzimmer aussieht, ist satte 55 Quadratmeter groß! Tatsächlich sind alle 32 Zimmer des Hotels Suiten. The Strand Yangon Als das Hotel gebaut wurde, war Rangun (heute Yangon) kein beliebtes Reiseziel für ausländische Touristen, und es schien, als gäbe es keinen Bedarf für ein erstklassiges Hotel. Die Sarkies-Brüder glaubten jedoch, dass ein solcher Bedarf bald entstehen würde, und beschlossen daher, die Herausforderung anzunehmen, ein Hotel in Rangun zu führen. Vielleicht waren ihre Prognosen zu voreilig, denn das 1892 eröffnete Hotel war kein Erfolg. Das 1901 eröffnete The Strand Yangon entwickelte sich jedoch zu einem hochmodernen Hotel. Die vier Sarkis-Brüder, Armenier aus Isfahan, Persien, gründeten drei Hotels: das Raffles Hotel in Singapur, das E&O Hotel in Penang, Malaysia, und das Strand Hotel in Yangon, Myanmar (Burma)."

"Die Lage ist gut, praktisch, es gibt Geschäfte, Lebensmittelgeschäfte, Cafés, in der Nähe von Shwedagon, nicht weit. Die Zimmer sind in gewissem Maße in Ordnung, für den Preis angemessen. Aber es ist ein besserer Ort zum Übernachten. Andere Hotels mit günstigen Preisen Ebenso sind die meisten von ihnen Burmesen. Weil es in der Nähe ist Krankenhaus auch, aber das WLAN ist nicht so stark. Soll ich eine Internet-SIM kaufen? Kommen Sie und nutzen Sie es für die Leute, die bleiben werden."

"Service is quite bad. I am a local and and I feel like the hotel staff doesn’t give a **** to local. They only favour the foreigners.Service wise including both front house and F&B. I don’t want to give even two star for service. Better improve such kind of discrimination mindset to locals. I wasn’t even served by welcome drink. Such a bad experience due to poor customer service. Totally deviated from my expectations and disappointed. Service wise should learn from three star hotels Haha. There was only one shower robe🫩"

"Das Thanlwin erfüllt alle Ansprüche. Das Personal ist ausgezeichnet und erfüllt jeden Wunsch. Es gibt ein China-Restaurant (sehr gut !), ein Western-Restaurant (sehr gut !), einen Dachpool und einen Spa/Massage-Bereich (sehr gut aber etwas teuer !). Die Preise sind für das Niveau des Hotels angemessen aber natürlich etwas höher als in anderen Hotels. Dafür ist die Qualität ausgezeichnet. Das Essen war vorbildlich, die Massagen extrem gut, wenn auch man die in Thailand für den halben Preis bekommt. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer ist vorbildlich. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer und die Größe kann man nur als sensationell bezeichnen. Ich hatte ein Bad mit Eckfenster und konnte die Pagoda sehen aus dem Stockwerk fast ganz oben. Herrlich. Die Klimaanlage ist excellent, der Wasserdruck im Bad perfekt."
