"Die Lage ist eher in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse in einem älteren Stadtteil ohne Hochhäuser mit vielen Restaurants, Ladengeschäften und Massagen. Von der Dachterrasse hat man Aussicht auf Tianmen Gebirge und die Cable Bahn zum Tianmen ist zu Fuß leicht zu erreichen. Das Beste sind jedoch die Gastgeber, die sehr bemüht sind mit Ausflugstipps und Planungen einem den Aufenthalt so interessant wie möglich zu machen ohne dabei etwas vermitteln zu wollen. "Das Hotel liegt am Baofeng-See. Die Landschaft ist wunderschön und die Umgebung ruhig. Der gesamte Stil ist sehr luxuriös. Die Damen an der Rezeption sind alle sehr nett und der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Das Wichtigste ist, dass der Chef uns persönlich abgeholt und wieder zurückgebracht hat. Es war besser als erwartet. Sehr berührt. Das Zimmer war sehr groß, die Ausstattung war sehr gut und neuwertig. (Obwohl ich vergessen habe, Fotos zu machen, habe ich nur Fotos vom Essen im Zimmer gemacht 🥲) Wir sind als dreiköpfige Familie gereist und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist auch sehr praktisch, Essenslieferungen kommen schnell an. Es ist auch nah an der malerischen Gegend. Das Frühstück war auch sehr reichhaltig. Die meisten Gäste waren Ausländer. Es gab sowohl chinesische als auch westliche Geschmäcker. Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Hotel. Wenn ich wiederkomme, möchte ich wieder hier übernachten. Und ich werde es meinen Freunden empfehlen. "It was a wonderful exerience. I thought it it might be a bit gimmicky going in but everything was very thoughtfully arranged and practical. Stayed in the 270 degree view room and night scenery was fantastic. Looking out at Changsha lit up from a 5m tub is chef's kiss. Projector was also great for watching movies from bed The big standout was the service. Every mirror and surface was constantly kept spotless by the cleaning staff and the butler service was super convenient and responsive. Anything we wanted always got an instant response and was taken care of within minutes. Our butlers went above and beyond to make sure we got a private appointment time at the storm spa too. Honestly, found it more responsive and helpful than at places like the St Regis. "This hotel was excellent. The staff were very friendly, always greeting us with smiles and offering to help. While we were staying there, my child came down with a stomach flu and vomited in the room. Xiao Fang from housekeeping cleaned everything very thoroughly and responsibly, and she was extremely kind. I felt so bad about the mess that I offered her a tip, but she firmly refused to accept it; she just wanted to help. Later, a guest in the neighboring room was smoking. The staff immediately helped us move to another room and offered a complimentary room upgrade. My child and I also liked the hotel's congee and went to have some every evening. The staff made us feel home here. Also, the location is very convenient and close to Jin Mao Tower. We would be happy to come back!"

"If I could score this hotel 20 out of 5 I would. After looking at countless accommodation options around the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and its various entrance points, and reading through so many reviews, I chose this hotel and I’m so glad I did as it deserves endless compliments that I don’t know where to begin. Location - it is situated in a charming rural village very close to the Central Gate of the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park which, after hours of researching, is the best entrance point in my view as there are no queues/crowds, and it is closest to the Bailong elevator whereupon there’s a direct shuttle bus within the park that takes you from the Central Gate directly to the Bailong elevator. The best part is, the hotel provides free pick up and drop off between the hotel and the Central Gate, which is a fantastic service especially if it’s dark by the time you finish exploring the park. Room - the room was spacious, clean and has the most stunning views of the karst mountains! The room has a smart system which is voice-controlled and a smart toilet, and has very thoughtful touches such as an overhead warmer/ventilation system in the shower area. The airconditioning/heater in each room is individually controlled and not part of a central system. It was great walking around the premises and breathing in fresh air, with their little onsite dog Xiao Bu Dian as a great companion. Food - whilst there aren’t many food options around given its rural location, those aren’t needed as the hotel has an onsite restaurant and the chef cooks such delicious homecooked/authentic meals, and they even use fresh vegetables grown on their premises! The free breakfast provided is also yummy! Service - last but not least, the service that all staff members at the hotel provide is excellent! Because I stayed 3 nights, they provided free pick up and drop off between the hotel and the airport/train station, and patiently waited at the train station for me upon my arrival. There are so many itineraries floating around on how to explore the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park that it’s rather overwhelming, but the staff help with planning the route to take and also with purchasing discounted tickets. The manager David also kindly offered his personal details (prior to me checking in) so that I could place my taobao orders for delivery at the hotel (most other hotels in China do not offer that service and require you to use your own details instead, which can sometimes cause issues with deliveries if parcels arrive before checking in). Unbeknownst to me when I placed my taobao orders, courier drivers do not deliver to the hotel due to its rural location, and instead drop parcels off at various collection points (some rather far from the hotel). David and his team patiently collected each one of them for me from various collection points. I even got a free room upgrade. The service of David and his team is simply unrivalled, and I’m truly grateful to them for making my stay so memorable. In conclusion, I highly recommend this hotel! You will not regret choosing to stay at this hotel!"
