It only takes one to ruin a stay, but this time two selfish neurotic old Chinese speaking women came into room very late at night making so much noise talking and messing with baggage. Upon mentioning disturbance one old woman got angry. That same woman continued to keep me up until 2.16am messing with zipped baggage in bed and dropping heavy objects on the wood above my bed. Total disregard that it was very late and I believe it to be done with deliberation as it was continued for hours after I complained. Then after check in an african woman let her boyfriend in the women's dorm and stand obstructing doorway talking and coming in room. That said african woman and boyfriend were sitting in women's only powder room for hours. Clearly not respecting boundaries yet no one said anything. African woman put all her stuff in my area of room, which I kept clear, and not near her own bed. A very annoying and disruptive night. Not the hostels fault. Usually everything is peaceful here

Clean, friendly staff, well-equipped. However, didn’t expect there was only 1 shower room for each gender for the entire hostel. Surprisingly it was not occupied when I used it for 4 nights, most guests used the public onsen which is a great perk after water activities or a long day out. Private cabin was small yet sufficient to open a medium luggage. Bedding was quite hard tho, so bear in mind. Overall worth the price paid for.

This is a four-room hotel run by a very kind and friendly man. He plays the sanshin and, if you request a meal in advance (around 2000 yen, if I remember correctly), he will entertain you as you eat. The building has concrete stairs, and the room, while adequate and pristine and good sized (for Japan) is nothing special. But the dark red tiled bathroom is the largest I have ever seen in Japan! You can enjoy an authentic Japanese bath here. I wish I could have this bathroom everywhere I stay! You are welcome to drinks in the refrigerator, and you can make a simple continental breakfast. There is a small ”super” nearby, and around 30 Soaplands, so you can see an important part of Japanese male culture. It is right near the 3 bus line (which, sadly, runs very irregularly), an authentic sanshin shop (run by an elderly master of Okinawan karate) and is easy walking distance to the Naha pier (ferries to Kagoshima), the Tsushushima museum, a Taoist temple and a Chinese-style garden which dates back 70 years. You can go up on the roof for a view, and you may be able to see the From the postcards pinned up on the wall to the books with extensive entries from Japanese patrons, I would say that the Japanese love this place! If you can speak even a little bit of Japanese, I recommend this place. The only negative is that the check in is at 4 PM.

Der Ort ist nahe dem Hafen, wenn Sie die Inseln erkunden möchten. Olivia und das japanische Personal waren absolut erstaunlich. Ich empfehle diesen Ort sehr.

Die Lage ist super gut, direkt neben der Kokusai-Straße! ~ Das Zimmer war größer als erwartet und die Schalldämmung war nicht gut. Das Husten und Schnarchen aus dem Nebenzimmer war deutlich zu hören. Es gibt keine Vorhänge an den Fenstern, daher ist es morgens zu hell zum Schlafen😅 Es wäre praktischer, wenn hinter der Tür einige Haken angebracht würden. Das Badezimmer würde gerne öfter gereinigt werden, ist aber noch akzeptabel

I recently stayed at Bibi Hotel Miyako Kukomae, and it turned out to be an excellent base for exploring Miyako Island. The hotel is modern, clean, and surprisingly spacious for the price. Check-in was fully digital, making arrival smooth and stress-free, especially after a long flight. My room was bright and well-designed, with a comfortable bed, fast Wi-Fi, and all the essentials for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the washing machine and mini-kitchen, which made the trip more convenient. Everything felt new and well maintained. The location is ideal—just a short drive from Miyako Airport and close to supermarkets and local eateries. It was easy to pick up food or hop in the car to the beaches. Sunayama Beach and Yonaha Maehama were both within quick reach. Despite the convenience, the neighborhood was quiet at night, allowing for a restful sleep. Parking was simple and free, which is a huge plus on Miyako Island. The self-service system meant I could come and go at any time without worrying about reception hours. Overall, Bibi Hotel Miyako Kukomae offers great value, comfort, and convenience. It’s perfect for travelers who want a clean, practical, and well-located base while discovering the beauty of Miyako Island.

Wir sind sehr glücklich mit dem Aufenthalt und würden zurückkommen. Die Zwillinge sind geräumig, sauber und haben einen Balkon. Aufgrund der Nähe der Main Street, die unser Balkon gegenüber stand, konnten wir den gelegentlichen Lautwagengeräusch während der Nacht hören. Die Hallen, die zu den Zimmern führten, hatten einen gemahlenen Geruch und einige große Gemälde, die wegen der hohen Feuchtigkeit schwer zu vermeiden ist. Die Zimmer sind jedoch überhaupt nicht beeinflusst worden.

Hier werden SERVICE groß geschrieben und die Gastfreundschaft orientiert sich an der Begeisterung der Gäste. Man fühlt sich eher wie in einem Hotel als in einem Hostel. Alles wird ausführlich erklärt und Wünsche der Gäste so weit wie möglich versucht umzusetzen. Spontan hatte die Belegschaft ein get together Abendessen organisiert, um so interessante Geschichten der wir gereisten Gäste kennen zu können. Es gibt Betten ohne eigene Zimmerdecke und dafür mehr Belüftung als auch stehen Betten mit Wänden und Decke zur Verfügung. Die Lage ist zentral zum Hafen, der Innenstadt und dem Banna-Park. …wären doch nur alle Hostel so toll ausgestattet und bedient von so freundlichem Personal 😀👍

Das Hotel war unglaublich unscheinbar; es gab kein großes Schild draußen. Wir sind mehrmals in der Gegend herumgeirrt und mussten schließlich Einheimische nach dem Weg fragen, aber selbst die kannten es nicht! 😆 Es besteht außerdem aus zwei Gebäuden, und nachdem wir im ersten Gebäude eingecheckt hatten, wurde uns gesagt, unser Zimmer sei im zweiten. Obwohl es nicht weit entfernt ist, fand ich es nicht so toll, unser Gepäck so hinter mir herziehen zu müssen… Es gab keine kostenlosen Parkplätze; wir mussten auf einem nahegelegenen Parkplatz parken und dafür bezahlen. Das Zimmer war rechteckig und etwas eng. 🥲 Allerdings gibt es in der Nähe viele Restaurants, eine kleine Da Guo Apotheke und zwei Supermärkte, sodass es recht praktisch ist.
