Sie war eine willkommene Abwechslung zu den oft stickigen und traditionellen Hotellobbys. Die Verwendung heller Farben und minimalistischer Möbel schuf ein offenes und luftiges Ambiente und stimmte mich positiv auf meinen gesamten Aufenthalt ein. Mein Zimmer war eine Oase der Sauberkeit. Jede Oberfläche, vom Boden bis zu den Tischplatten, war makellos sauber. Die Bettwäsche war weich und frisch, und die Kissen boten genau die richtige Unterstützung. Auch das Badezimmer war makellos sauber, mit modernen Armaturen und einer gepflegten Dusche. Es war deutlich zu erkennen, dass das Hotelpersonal großen Wert auf die Sauberkeit des Hauses legte. Das absolute Highlight dieses Hotels ist jedoch der Flughafentransfer. Mein Flug ging früh morgens, und ich hatte schon befürchtet, zu so später Stunde noch einen Transfer finden zu müssen. Dank des zuverlässigen Transferservices von Yunshangju musste ich mir aber um nichts Sorgen machen. Der Service war schnell, und der Fahrer war freundlich und professionell. Ich erreichte den Flughafen rechtzeitig und konnte meine Reise entspannt antreten. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen: Wenn Sie ein sauberes, modernes und günstig gelegenes Hotel in der Nähe des Flughafens Shenyang Taoxian suchen, ist das Yunshangju Hotel (Filiale Flughafen Shenyang Taoxian) eine ausgezeichnete Wahl. This hotel's location is genuinely brilliant, right in the city centre next to the Zhongshan subway and plaza, and for this price point, you really can't ask for better. The staff were friendly and helpful despite the language barrier (Google Translate sorted us out fine), and the cleaning team were lovely too. The room was decent and properly clean, I checked for dust and there wasn't any. However, the hotel is quite old, and there was some mould on the ceiling and in the bathroom and shower curtain. It didn't bother me personally, but worth noting, and a bit of spray would be great. That said, Dalian was incredibly humid when I visited in late August, so I suspect this is partly a climate issue. Even my own towels wouldn't dry properly. The place was quite busy, mainly Chinese customers, but they were quiet and discreet. Practical bits: they provide two bottles of water daily and disposable paper towels (which actually came in handy given the humidity). The room also had a washing machine (bring your own detergent) and you can hang clothes outside on the 9th floor veranda. There's a bus stop right outside with direct services to Xian Lu (shopping and basement food market) and the Transport University area night market, the subway goes straight to the airport, and you're walking distance from the main tourist spots like Russian Street, the old tram etc. Plenty of restaurants nearby too. And two convenience stores on ground floor. This place accepts foreign tourists and check-in was quick and easy. Internet was fast but slower in the evenings. Honestly, some of the complaints I've read here seem a bit harsh considering what you're paying. You get what you pay for, and at this price point in this location, I think it's fair value. I'd stay here again, especially if travelling on a budget. Thank you, we had a lovely time in Dalian!

To be frank initially we weren’t too impressed with this hotel. For the same price category in other towns in Dongbei we were given much better rooms. But that changed when we met the boss. He was all politeness, professionalism & he nailed the service attitude perfectly. First he offered us a half day Dandong tour at a reasonable price. He took care of all the related arrangements including taking us for a quick lunch. In the evening we happened by the barbecue stall he was manning & had a meal there. The next morning he helped us with our luggage, suggested a good place for breakfast & then called a taxi for us. His attention to details was meticulous. But what eventually made him stand out from the rest: In his haste to check out my partner had neglected to take his wallet from the desk where it was hidden among all the paraphernalia. Failing to contact us via WeChat the boss rushed to the railway station in his motorbike just to return us the missing wallet. He truly went above & beyond his duty & for that we are infinitely grateful to him. In conclusion should you ever visit Dandong do yourself a favour. Let this remarkable man take care of you. You will appreciate his genuine warm & sincere hospitality. And yes, the location of this hotel is superb. The popular Broken Bridge tourist attraction is just metres away.
