After taking 5 hours Journey on a 40 seater public bus that cost me 100 yuan i arrived at a beautiful homestay run by family, the homestay is the 1st at the entrance of the village. Room is comfortable with huge bed and heated bed and floor, eventhou the bed is just a thin mattress (its call a Kang Bed) but i still can sleep soundly every night. Only things need to change is the toilet because our toilet bowl is right at the center so i cant shower or use the basin (no space to stand)😀 They provide toothbrush and disposable face towel only so you have to bring your own towel and toiletries. Restaurant, reception counter and living room are together, this is a place for the owner and all guests to have meal and gathering. You will see them all day at the living room. We also have some activities such as making tanghulu (fruits coated with syrup), making dumpling and just chit chat eating popcorn and frozen persimmon and pear. Food is so yummy, no need to eat outside because you can order from this homestay. Breakfast is free. Its a simple and healthy- plain porridge, bun and pickles. The northern people are not so much into sugary or fancy drinks, even like tea or coffees. plain hot water is what they had most of the time. Lunch and dinner you can choose from their menu. Few activities you can do in town such as walk around town and enjoy the beautiful scenery like what i did, i also took the sleight horse (200 yuan) to go to the national forest and also stroll along the river for sightseeing. If u want to have ski, snow mobile, tubing there are 2 private own mini park that you can go just by walking distance 5-15 minutes. There is a bigger park Rime Ridge, also known as Wu Song Ling, is a place in Harbin, China where you can see rime and snow scenery, and participate in winter activities this will cost 400 yuan. At night there will be campfire and singing at the village. You can join for free. Go for a walk at night to see lots of villagers selling foods by the road side. I also enjoyed experimenting the ‘boiling water thrown into the sky’ ..beautiful effect from the ice steam. Most important please bring extra cash incase the alipay not working you will still have money. There is no bank or atm machine in the village. Its all solely depending on online payment such as allipay/wechat. I have problem with my alipay payment and I didn’t bring much cash so i cant spend so much at the village. The homestay owner knew about my problem so she worry i dont have enough money to eat so she cook meals for me FREE.. such a nice person. God bless her 🙏🏼 I wish to come again with my family, and i will stay here

Die Lage des Hotels ist so bequem, es ist nahe zu Gemüsegeschäften, Restaurants, Moscheen und Morgenmärkten und vieles mehr. Das Personal ist sehr hilfreich, die Umgebung hier ist so warm. Ich mag meinen Aufenthalt hier.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the service exceeded my expectations. I truly appreciate the complimentary room upgrade — it made my stay extra comfortable and memorable. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. Thank you for the warm hospitality. I will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to others.

Harbin Anshu Family Hotel has only 7 rooms and a family who look after the rooms and guests. Their services are just outstanding. I had a serious problem when i arrived as i had not had time in Beijing, where i was in transit from UK to Harbin, to get a phone SIM Card. Anshu Family Hotel took me to the China Mobile shop in Harbin and stayed with me until i got my card. They flatly refused payment for helping me even though it cost them a lot of time so i got them some grapes as a very small gift to say thankyou for helping me so kindly. The process took nearly two hours due to a complication on my UK phone number settings. However the staff at China Mobile were really good, the Anshu Family were just incredibly patient. They simply would not leave until i was fixed up and able to use my phone. I stayed for just under a week to go to see the major attractions in Harbin, a City with a totally unique identity in China due to its Russian and European Architecture. It is one of the most fascinating cities i have ever visited, Harbin Museum being quite astonishing in its variety and quality of Artifacts. It was the 16th Museum or Museum type building i have visited in China and one of the most enjoyable. This year was Harbins 26th Ice Show, with the Winter Games coming up soon. The Anshu Family Hotel is spot on location for both events, just a $3 taxi ride or Metro for just cents. The hotel has lots of shops, supermarkets, several food roads bristling with many many choices of meal. The Anshu Family make a very low charge for their rooms, in my opinion it could be far higher but they stick at their price. I had not asked for breakfast as i go out early to get to see as much as possible during my day sightseeing. The night before i left i asked them if they would get me a taxi for the morning to get my train. I was to get the taxi at 6.45am. At 5.50 a knock on the door and they came to give me three boiled eggs and a meat stew with noodles. Honestly no Hotel has treated me so kindly. I really recommend grabbing a room with Anshu most especially if you are going to the Ice Show or Winter games. It is a budget Hotel, so be aware of that, but I got a spotless sheet, cover duvet and i was as warm as toast room at night. The water shower is piping hot. Opposite the Hotel road is a huge Govt building as a landmark, i never had any problem finding it. There is a Bank of China two hundred metres from Anshu Family Hotel. Anshu, in my opinion must be one of the top deals on offer from Trip.com.

I am Malaysian (Malay), travelled with family of 7 adult + 2 kids. Here’s my review: 1) Location: The location is called “Kaili Used Car Market” in Didi app. If you used the description that given in the booking detail by Tripcom, it might be quite confusing to book Didi or to tell the taxi driver the exact location. Hence, “Kaili used car market” is what you can search for in your Didi app. 2) The room: We booked the 3-bed apartment (comfy for 6 pax). The unit is a 2-floor unit, with only 1 bathroom located at the second floor. The first floor has a kitchen with big kitchen cabinet, sofa, a fridge, a square dining table and a double bed at the main hall. The second floor, got one room with a double bed inside and the hall at the second floor also has one doublebed. Heating are okay. Hot shower available. Washing machine available. 3) what you need to know: The area is around 10-15km distance from Central Street (Zhongyang street). The area is a car sale area, but the neighboorhood is full of things that you need. The buiding is a 10-floor apartment building .My mom and sis shop for fresh seafood for cooking and also bought some winter attire just by walking distance. Considering the price and what it offers, I think it is good enough. If you are travelling by Didi as main transport, this place should be fine . The railway station is quite far and you cant stand the cold weather outside for a walk to station. 4) Host: Host were nice. He waited for us until 3am-4am, and greeted us nicely. It just the language barrier truly crucial before check-in as he did not communicated using chat in Tripcom. The tripcom chat only run by AI assistance, and did not have any further details on check-in. The AI assistance keep asked us to call the host number, but the thing is the host cannot communicate in English and to make a call also requires international charge. The phone number provided also cant be found in wechat. Last choice we had was to contact him via SMS (also international charge required). Haha 😅 My suggestion is I hope the host can maintain the communication via Tripcom chat services to ease the checkin process for all international traveller. Pluspunkte: Es ist sehr zu empfehlen für diejenigen, die die Atmosphäre einer Jugendherberge haben. Es wird Ihnen ein tolles Erlebnis bieten. Der Chef ist sehr enthusiastisch und organisiert Dinnerpartys, bei denen man gemeinsam zu Mittag essen kann. Es liegt ganz in der Nähe der Central Street und die U-Bahn befindet sich direkt vor der Tür, sodass die Transportmöglichkeiten bequem sind. An jedem Bett gibt es Heizkörper, die sehr warm sind. Außerdem gibt es ein Nachtlicht, das bei ausgeschaltetem Licht eingeschaltet werden kann, und einen kleinen Tisch zum Abstellen von Gegenständen. Im Wohnzimmer im Erdgeschoss können Sie gemeinsam plaudern und etwas trinken und Freunde aus aller Welt kennenlernen. Mängel: Das Zimmer ist ein Schuppenzimmer, ein Teil des Bettes ist undicht, es werden keine Toilettenartikel bereitgestellt, keine Handtücher und Hausschuhe, die Kissen und Matratzen sind vergilbt, das Bett quietscht, Sie müssen Ihre eigene Bettwäsche mitnehmen und Ihr eigenes Bett machen, viele Leute wohnen im selben Haus, Beginn um fünf oder sechs Uhr. Jemand war am Telefon und es war etwas laut.

The guesthouse owner is very attentive and friendly. They gave you the feelings like you are staying at your own hometown. They are Muslim friendly as they prepared breakfast using seperate utensils and treat you like their own family. There is also Makanan Melayu menu that they prepared for Muslim if you want to eat for dinmer or lunch. The price is affordable. At the guesthouse, there is a poster of snow activities that you can do written in English translation. Just point to what do you want to do and the owner will directly arrange somebody to pick you up and drop off to the guesthouse again once activity is done. I did the ski playground activity and Wu Song Ling , both of the experience is very great. If you travel solo, then this guesthouse is perfect for you as they really caring and attentive to make sure you are safe and comfortable. I also got to eat frozen fruit given by the owner. No need to worry if you cannot speak chinese as the owner is equipped with translation devices. The owner can arrange the bus to come from Harbin City to Snow Valley, and also when you want to go back. The bus drop directly infront of the guesthouse with the owner already waiting to help with your luggage.

The bosses are very friendly and fetched and send us from the yabulixi train station. Upon arrival to the homestay, lady boss free upgrade to a beautiful bigger room for us! I have been communicating with lady boss via WeChat xyxms999 before arrival and she helped us planned the full 5 days 4 nights itinerary including to horse ride, snow play, ski and xuexiang! They literally drive us around to and fro around by their chauffeur. We ordered TB and they help us pick up our stuff too They serve daily breakfast too The room is very new and is exactly as per the photos and housekeeping is awesome The bosses own a restaurant next door and serve super yummy authentic dong bei food that we had our dinner there every night! And they are so nice to give us a discount of the food… Even though this is a homestay but we feel that the service they offer was far so much better than a hotel. They have their big snow area with their own snow play with snow bike and snow car and snow slide and swing too Also they help us buy discounts tickets to all places of interest as well as loan ski gear at a discounted price too… My girls loved it so much that they wanted to go back again!

Ich kann wirklich jedem empfehlen, in dieser Jugendherberge zu übernachten! ! ! ! Dies ist die beste Jugendherberge, in der ich je übernachtet habe. Ich bin jeden Tag glücklich, wenn ich hier bleibe. Ich schwöre, ich kann es wirklich nicht ertragen, meine Reservierung um viele Tage zu verlängern. Als ich zum Spielen nach Harbin kam, war der Wechsel in diese Jugendherberge auf halbem Weg die klügste Entscheidung, die ich auf dieser Reise getroffen habe. Ursprünglich hatte ich nur einen durchschnittlich positiven Eindruck von Harbin und fand es sogar etwas langweilig, aber jetzt, wo es Spätwinter ist, ist mein Glücksindex sprunghaft angestiegen! ! Und ich möchte beim nächsten Mal wiederkommen! ! Das Bett in Mudong ist wirklich bequem zum Schlafen. Sie können den Chef bitten, die hohen oder niedrigen Kissen zu wechseln. In der Lobby gibt es auch kostenloses Warmwasser sowie kostenloses Waschmittel und Duschgel etc. ! ! Niemand sonst stellt diese kostenlos zur Verfügung. In Ihrer Freizeit können Sie eine Tasse Kaffee trinken und am Fenster sitzen und die Schneeflocken beobachten. Es gibt auch einen großen Projektor und abends werden Filme gezeigt. Die Atmosphäre im Spätwinter ist wirklich gut. Und alle an der Rezeption sind sehr nett! ! ! Wenn Sie irgendwelche Bedürfnisse haben, können Sie sie ihnen mitteilen und sie werden Ihnen herzlich und freundlich helfen! Wir helfen Ihnen auch beim Kauf vergünstigter Kinokarten! Der Kaffee ist auch köstlich~ Der Chef von Mudong ist auch wirklich nett und aufrichtig. Jedes Bett ist mit einem Notfallset ausgestattet und die scharfen Kanten und Ecken sind auch umwickelt! Es war das erste Mal, dass ich einen so guten Chef sah, und ich weinte zu Tode! ! Und wenn etwas fehlt, wird er sofort eine Bestellung aufgeben und es rechtzeitig für alle nachholen. In der Lobby stehen Ihnen kostenlose Babywärmer zur Verfügung und es gibt auch einen speziellen Aufbewahrungsort für Ihr Gepäck, damit Sie bleiben können bis zum Abend, bevor Sie den Bus nehmen. So etwas Gutes bekommt man nicht, wenn man in andere Jugendherbergen geht! ! ! Es ist wirklich viel komfortabler als ein Hotel. Das Wichtigste ist, dass jedes Zimmer neben zwei Grubentoiletten und zwei Duschräumen im öffentlichen Bereich auch über ein eigenes Bad und WC verfügt, was sauber, hygienisch und komfortabel ist! Mein mysophober Patient verspricht mir, dass ich diesen Ort wählen muss! ! ! Wenn Sie mit ein paar Freunden nach Harbin kommen, werden Sie bestimmt glücklich sein, hier zu leben! Wer alleine reist, kann hier auch sehr gute Freunde finden! Ich muss erwähnen, dass wir eine Schwester in einem Café kennengelernt haben, die Amway im Spätwinter zu uns gebracht hat. Sie hatte höhere Ansprüche an die Umwelt als ich und war daher entschlossen, nicht mit kleinem Budget zu reisen , sie wurde von uns belästigt. Verdammt, ich mag es hier wirklich, seit ich hier bin, hehe (*☻-☻*) Ich bin alleine gereist und habe im Spätwinter gute Freunde aus aller Welt getroffen. Am Ende wollten wir uns nicht verabschieden! ! Ich verspreche, in Zukunft wiederzukommen (T_T)! Auf dem Bild habe ich auch ein Foto vom Doppelzimmer meines Freundes gemacht. Hehe (＾ν＾), es hat eine super große, schicke Toilette. Dass das Doppelzimmer in einer Jugendherberge ist, macht mir nichts aus. Sie werden es nicht bereuen, sich für Mudong entschieden zu haben! Ich kann die Vorteile des Spätwinters wirklich nicht genug betonen. Es gibt keine komfortablere und glücklichere Jugendherberge als hier! Ich muss sagen, dass der Chef wirklich versteht, was junge Leute wollen. Er ist es wert, ein Rucksacktourist zu sein! ! Schließlich wird der Chef so schnell wie möglich reich, eröffnet weitere Filialen und erlangt Freiheit im Leben! Wir kommen wieder! !
