2-Sterne-Hotels in Gansu, China

We arrived at the accommodation when it was raining heavily. There were a lot of leaks from the roof, when we entered the room we simply saw that the mattress was completely wet as a result of the leak. We then moved to another room where there was a leak in the bathroom as well as a lot of dirt, including in the toilet. In the meantime, the girl at the desk honored us with a very tasty local watermelon. She apologized for the situation and moved us to another room. The next room was a huge room, I think it was their suite. The room itself was really comfortable and large, but it was simply full of spiders and cobwebs. We decided that we would still stay in the room despite its poor maintenance. They cleaned the room for us a little, but it didn't help, but we had no more strength to complain. We cleaned it ourselves so that the stay would be reasonable. It should be noted that the place only has a solar water heater, so on cloudy and rainy days there will be no hot water as happened to us on the day of arrival. We asked the staff in the evening for tomatoes and onions and they happily gave us them free of charge. This is noteworthy and thank you for that. It should be noted that the Didi does not always arrive at the accommodation location, they offer a paid shuttle, which is convenient. On the second day we went out to the dunes at sunrise, the guy at the desk insisted that we would be cold and gave us some kind of sand socks. Only when we returned did we realize that it was actually a fee of 20 for both of us (just like on the website, and much more than supermarkets in the area). We did not understand why we were not told that it was a fee, plus it looked used and did not come in a plastic wrap. Apart from this incident, the staff was nice and helped us with the shuttle (for a fee). The breakfast was great, and they tried to help us according to our vegetarianism. We wanted to extend our stay after cleaning the room ourselves and it was decent and good, but the price was high for us, which is perfectly fine and reasonable on their part, and we decided to leave.

This is an absolutely beautiful handmade property. The woodwork in it is just exceptional. What really makes this place special however are the owners who are so sweet, so helpful, and so accommodating. They helped us with absolutely everything we asked, and we’re sweet throughout.

Der Bahnhof hatte keine Internetverbindung, so dass ich DiDi nicht bekommen konnte. Nicht nur habe ich nach Verhandlung überzahlt, sondern der Fahrer hat den Anfang der Reise verbracht und ich musste meinen Arm über ihn schwingen, da wir am Ende eines anderen Autos waren. 20 Minuten später Ankunft am Eingang des Parks Maiji Shan. Der freundliche Besitzer war bereits da und half mir sofort mit meinen Taschen. Ein paar Minuten Fahrt zum expansionistischen Bauernhaus. Ich bat um eine Kuhle von Nüssen, die warm und lecker von einer Großmutterfrau angeboten wurde. Das chinesische Bauernhof Frühstück war reichhaltig. Ich habe die Wärme verwendet, da die Berge schnell kalt wurden, als die Sonne fällt. Das unverschmutzte Zimmer war groß mit zwei Doppelbetten, einem TV und einem Schreibtisch. Das Badezimmer hatte integrierte Toilette und Dusche, so ist es nass. Vieles heißes Wasser bis zum Umdrehen war eine Frage der Knopfdruck. Ich habe etwas Neues gelernt! Toiletten und Papierhandtücher (ein anderes zuerst) wurden bereitgestellt. Der Besitzer führte mich nach Maiji Shan. Leider war es geschlossen; Regen hatte die Felsen gemacht, was es gefährlich macht, die Treppen zu steigen. Jedoch nahm ich einige Fotos. Ich versuchte zurückzugehen (schöner Herbsttag), aber der Besitzer traf mich auf der StraßeThe Eigentümer und ich kommunizierte über WeChat Translator. DIdi war nicht verfügbar und als wir für den Bahnhof begannen, kam der Bus hinter uns. So legte der Besitzer mich auf sie und ich schrieb über die App. Der Bus fahren sehr langsam, aber ich kam zum Bahnhof, um mit meinen Taschen zurück und nachher zu laufen, dann zu einem anderen Stock, um ein Papierticket zu bekommen, dann zurück zum Wartebereich, durch die Tor, auf die Treppen und schließlich zu meinem Schlafwagen. Außer, dass ich um meinen Pass und verschiedene Tickets um 10 Mal gebeten habe, war kein Personal besonders hilfreich, da ich laut wütend war. Als ich ausging, ein anderer Passagier nahm meine Taschen und rannte die Treppe mit ihnen und ging dann zurück zum Zug. Wahrscheinlich jemand im medizinischen Bereich! Plattform rauchen und zwischen Autos rauchen kann einige Menschen beeinflussen.

Das Gefühl der Träume, das Gefühl der Wüste ist großartig! Die Wohnung im Wüsten ist zunächst die Landschaft. Die Landschaft der Wüste und der Berge ist nicht zu sagen. Obwohl sie unter den Fußen des Berges gesagt wird, ist es immer noch ein Gedankenschild. Es ist auch sehr gut, die freien Orte zu fotografieren, die uns geleitet haben, wie man den Sternenraum zu fotografieren und die Mobiltelefonunterstützung zu bieten, toll ps. Sie müssen den Chef oder Chef bitten, die Pferdelampe zu erleuchten (Der Shop wird kostenlos angeboten) die Atmosphäre zu fotografieren ist toll. I stayed in this hostel for a total of 5 nights, with two breaks when I went on tours outside of Lanzhou. I have put in reviews earlier, so this is my final for the hostel that had begun to feel like Home. The hostel itself is very comfortable a stay: clean, comfortable wide bed with sliding door for privacy, nice seating areas... It is run by a family who take turns staying over so that there is 24 hour reception. All are friendly and kind, especially the father. The parents don't speak English but you can easily use a translation app; other guests will probably interact with you. The location: it is situated about a 5 minute walk to the Yellow River Tower, and a further 10 minute walk to the Lanzhou Old Street area where there is an amazing array of food options. Just outside the hostel is a Halal (Muslim-run) restaurant called (Ruhua 如华）which the hostel owners say have been in operation for 20 or 30 years. The hand-pulled (手抓) mutton that I had there was fantastic, even though I am typically not a mutton eater --- the taste is a delicate and balanced mix of light spices (I could taste a hint of ginger, for example) and saltiness. And the 八宝茶 is also excellent. A 7 minute walk to the right after exiting the hostel (past the above -mentioned restaurant) to the main road where many buses ply, you will find another good mix of local food options, especially in the morning. The hostel is conveniently located near the Lanzhou West railway station. There is a bus 136 that runs just outside the hostel and gets you to the railway station in 20 minutes. Hope this helps someone deciding on where to stay in Lanzhou, since there doesn't seem such a good range of hostels. This new hotel was a wonderful place to stay. The new facilities were clean and tidy. The bedroom was temperature controlled, which was great in the cold winter. I especially liked the little table area to relax next to the bed. In the lobby, there were also free password locked luggage storage units that are convenient if you need somewhere to store your luggage for a few hours after check out. As well as that, I was surprised to find the washing machine and dryer in the lobby were also free for use. I communicated with staff in Chinese (I didn't even try to use English) and they were always happy to help. I think I would have, however, appreciated a little more information on check in as I only realized as I was leaving that I hadn't taken advantage of the free breakfast...and didn't know how to access it.

Unfortunately my experience wasn't good. Hot water didn't work, it was only warm. I did it in the afternoon anyway but ny boyfriend waited untill 11pm. Elettronic key of our room never worked. We always had to call someone to open our room. About water problem they said there was an issue in all the hotel and they can fix it the next morning. We could not find a standard queen bed room, they have queen room just very expensive and for cheaper price they have only twin rooms. We paied a full amount for the night we staied but we didn't have full 100% service we should receive from the booking. They suggest us a refund to change hotel but it was so late and we are travelling with bicycles, after a ride of 150km we were too tired to move in another location during the dark at 10pm. We just needed a hot shower and a bed to sleep. Finally we received a 100 cny caution back, and the next morning ladies at reception gave us 6 small bottle of water to apologize. I'm really upset about nobody advise us about water issue during check in, so there was still time to move in another accomodation, especially for elettronic key, I can't understand why it's never worked. Be carefull for next booking about rooms at 5th level. I don't know if it's a problem only for foreign people or for everyone. Room price list are very expensive so, I think they have not a bad service. Unfortunately it's the first time during my 32 years happened this, especially during my 27 days in China, all the issue where always well reserved. This time my experience was really stressful, I don't feel like to recommended it and I hope never happen again to other travelers. Thank you anyway.

Dieses Gästehaus ist wirklich einzigartig; jedes Zimmer ist nach einem der zwölf Sternbilder benannt, und das Design verbindet lokalen Stil mit himmlischen Elementen. Man kann sogar nachts Sterne beobachten, mit zwei Möglichkeiten: einer Vorlesung im Zimmer oder einer Beobachtungstour auf dem Dach. Der Lehrer erwähnte, dass der Sommer die beste Jahreszeit für Sternenbeobachtungen ist, und um sein eigenes Sternbild zu sehen, sollte man am besten zwei Monate vor oder nach dem entsprechenden Sternbildmonat hinfahren! Wir bekamen sogar Wunschflaschen mit unseren eigenen Sternbildern, die wir mit Sand vom Mingsha-Berg füllten, um sie am nächsten Tag mit nach Hause zu nehmen 😊 Die Besitzerin, eine sehr herzliche Dame, war unglaublich hilfsbereit. Wir konnten sie zu lokalen Sehenswürdigkeiten, Mietwagen und vielem mehr befragen – sie war sehr aufmerksam. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag anders, und die Nährstoffzusammensetzung war sorgfältig aufeinander abgestimmt. Es gab auch eine entzückende Katze, die immer auf dem Stuhl saß, um uns beim Essen Gesellschaft zu leisten; sie freute sich jeden Morgen über ein halbes Eigelb! Sie hatte sogar drei Kätzchen – so süß! Das Gästehaus verfügt über Unterrichtsräume und eine geräumige, helle Lobby und ist somit ideal für Studiengruppen. Wir hatten ursprünglich zwei Übernachtungen geplant, aber es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir um eine weitere Nacht verlängert haben. Das Dorf hat eine ruhige und angenehme Atmosphäre. Der Nachtmarkt von Shazhou ist etwa 15 Taximinuten entfernt, der Bahnhof etwa 20 Minuten – die Anbindung ist also sehr gut. Empfehlenswert für Familienausflüge und Studienreisen!

Als Kette-Hotel, die Lage des Zimmers und die hygienische Reinigung und alle Arten von Zubehör sind einheitliche Standards. Es ist sicher, dass die Lage des Hotels die erste Wahl am Fußgängerstraßenmarkt gefällt. Nach 6 Uhr ist das Zimmer sehr heiß. Die Sound-Isolierung ist gut und hat keinen Einfluss auf die Ruhe. Das Hotel ist auch sehr nahe von der berühmten Zhongshan Bridge und sieht die Nachtsicht zum Bequem White Tower Park. Das einzige Vermögen ist, dass es nicht gestartet werden kann.
