"I’ve stayed in fair few budget and mid-range hostels, and overall, Cable Beach Backpackers has a really good vibe. The Good Stuff: • Its a perfect Location. Literally walking distance to Cable Beach, restaurants, and bars. There’s also a bus stop right outside that heads into town every 20 minutes, which was a lifesaver. • The staff are so welcoming and easy to chat with. The little on-site bar has great prices, and the outdoor area is awesome—heaps of undercover seating and a brilliant hammock zone. The kitchen is also massive with plenty of room to cook and store your food. • Having good Wi-Fi was amazing, especially since mobile network coverage can be pretty patchy around the area. • I felt completely safe the entire time. I never worried about my personal safety or my belongings, which is always a huge relief when backpacking. The Not-So-Good Stuff (Just being honest): • I was in a 4-person dorm. It’s pretty basic (two bunks and a clothes rack) and felt super cramped once everyone brought their bags in. The biggest issue was airflow. The window wouldn’t open, so even with the ceiling fan and two portable fans blasting, it got really stuffy and stinky. The only way to get fresh air was leaving the main door wide open. While I felt safe enough to do this, it’s still not ideal for privacy or keeping the bugs out. Putting flyscreens on the doors could fix this! • I didn't see any lockers in the room for safely locking away small valuables. If they do have them and I just missed them, it would be great to have them highlighted at check-in, otherwise adding some would be a great upgrade. • There are noise restrictions after 10 PM, but people were still talking loudly, playing music and making noise late into the night every evening. Also, a lot of guests didn't clean up after themselves, so the shared tables and bathrooms were pretty messy a lot of the time. People also ignored the designated smoking areas. Overall, the location, Wi-Fi, and staff are top-notch, and it feels like a very safe spot to stay. I know you get what you pay for but it could still do with a little bit of a reno and better upkeep to stop the shared spaces from getting messy."

"Der Ort ist alt und etwas veraltet, und Sie hören den Verkehr von der Autobahn. Aber für die Kosten für die Nacht, die $120, insgesamt, es war gut für Geld. Als ich zuerst angekommen war, wie es nach Stunden war, befasste ich mich mit dem Pflegepersonal, der freundlich war, und half mir auch in mein Zimmer, denn ich hatte Probleme mit dem Türverschluss, was meine Schuld war! Ich habe die Kücheneinrichtungen nicht verwendet, außer dem Kühlschrank, aber die Küche war mit genügend Artikel ausgestattet, um ein Essen leicht zu kochen. Bad war gut, mit Dusche über Bad, (und auch großes Bad), so mit keinem Bad zu Hause, ich habe für älter gesiegt! Ich wurde vor der Ankunft informiert, dass nur Mini-Seife und Toilettenpapier geliefert wurde, so dass ich wusste, dass ich Körperwasch, Haarkonditionierer und andere Toiletten. Bett war komfortabel, und das Schlafzimmer ist ziemlich groß. Das Fernsehen war vielleicht ein bisschen klein, aber das Zimmer hatte ein paar Kleiderschranke, und einige Hänge für Kleidung. Der Ort war ziemlich sauber, beachtens dass es eine ältere Eigenschaft ist. Check out war einfach, und ich wurde von einem freundlichen Empfänger hinter dem Büro getroffen. Ich würde sicherlich nochmal bleiben, wenn der Preis so gut wäre, würde ich nur einige Ohrschleifen für Schlaf bringen, Kosten von Verkehrslärm, das ist natürlich keine Schuld der Wohnungen!"

"Our family was very big and comfortable. It is old style but we like it that way. The beddings are very clean and professionally made up and the mattress is firm and very comfortable like those in international hotels. We did not get hot water at night, maybe over utilised but it was okay in the morning. Maybe it is more cost saving to install instant heaters to save water wastage from waiting for the hot water with the running tap. There was some simple continental breakfast. We had issues with checking in but it was more to do with not reading their check in emails advice very carefully. Despite this and the hot water, we would still recommend this place for travellers."

"Der Aufenthalt war recht gut, Lage sehr zentral gelegen. Der einzige Minuspunkt war für mich die Ausstattung der Küche, da es ein etwas teueres Hostel ist hätte ich eine bessere Ausstattung erwartet. Hier ist es leider nicht möglich zu kochen, was schade ist, denn man würde enorm Kosten einsparen."

"Good for travellers who look for values on short stay. A plus point is that the place is within walking distance to fast food eateries namely Macdonald's, pizzas and many local bars with eats. Added bonus is the town visitor''s centre with the ever-so-friendly staff who were so helpful when I approached them for help with regards to travels. The greyhound coach pickup point happens to be at the stop nearby. More importantly is that Coles Superstore is not far away for people who prefer to do their own cooking in the shared kitchen provided by the lodge. Better than I had expeted before my arrival."

"Great 2 nights stay in this hotel. The check in process was easy and they served us well. As the hotel designed like heritage style, we can experience the old-timer environment. It's a shared bathroom, and it would be better if the hotel equips more lights, especially during night time. They do have a private customer parking spot which is great and convenience. Overall, we have a pleasant stay in this hotel"

"Zwischen dem Badezimmer, der Toilette und dem Haustier gibt es keine Tür, aber sehr sauber und die Lage ist perfekt. Wenn Sie sich nicht um die Barmusik und die Straßenbeleuchtung kümmern, können Sie sich ein bisschen schlafen. Ich störe nicht."

"Booked double chalet as friends were there in a caravan as well!  Cabin was really well kitted out with everything expected.  I should have asked if there were any without steps to them and also using a mobility was difficult on the woodchip surrounds as a cement path would be easier to traverse the park.  Site was large with good parking space.  Could have more plates, cutely etc as cannot cater for any additional guests to visit for drinks or meals.  Would recommend to all "

"U can find everything essentials here. Comfortable sleeping bed, friendly staffs, spacious kitchen & outdoor dining area, had my self cooked dinner here. U can meet many ppl frm diff countries. Easy to access by Transperth bus 950, walk for 300 meters and u wil get to find tis hotel."
