Schöne Lage. Nur zu laut, wenn die Leute umgeben, die Lautspiele lieben. Als ich zum Hotel kam, sagten sie mir, dass sie nicht mehr Frühstück machen, obwohl es in meiner Bestätigung enthalten ist, die mich zunächst recht schockiert machte.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The private room was small but was very clean. The the shared bathrooms were also clean and provided shampoo, conditioners and. Body wash. The shared kitchen facilities could have been cleaner but not the hotels fault! Staff very friendly! Great location

Es liegt sehr günstig in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war inklusive, was super war! Ich würde diese Unterkunft meinen Freunden empfehlen.

Room was nice and clean! About a 20/30 minute walk to the ferry terminal but bus stop was about 3 minute walk from hotel. Had a pool on the roof which was great, nice view too.

Asked for the quiet room. Got the room18 up the end of the corridor and also next to the road and also next to the emergency exit. Wasn't that quiet but was ok. Room, toilets amd kitchen was very clean and new. Good place to stay but just look at the room you pick

Always a great getaway place to go to. Very peaceful and stress free. Facilities are what you would expect from a country hotel and the newly completed bathrooms are a bonus. Unrestored and charming hotel with great artwork everywhere. Excellent meals in the evening and a very good diy breakfast provided in the dining room.

A newly renovated hostel runs by Little Drifter in Cairns CBD area. Everything is quite new and well maintained, except for the washing machines (quite a few are broken and still waiting to be fixed, only 2-3 machines are working, both laundry and drying cost $6 each time so that would be $12 in total if you wash and dry in one go). Yet big shout out to the staff there, they’re all very friendly, responsive and helpful, and that really makes a huge difference. The whole atmosphere in the hostel is really cozy and chill. I lived in a 8-bed dorm, everyone is really respectful and quiet, especially after 22:00 when the lights are off. Kitchen has everything you need so you don’t need to worry about anything. And for ladies who might need to blow dry your hair, you can borrow hairdryer at the reception by giving out your passports/driver licenses. Regarding location, it’s definitely prime, everything is within walking distance. Woolworths is just next door, Esplanade and Lagoon are just 5 mins walk away, Cairns Central just 10 mins walk away. It’s definitely a really good choice if you’re new to the city and would like to have easy and fast access to everything.

Overall a good stay. Lucky enough to have only 2 person in a 8-bed female dormitory.
