I wish I could say our last 24 hours here have been great, but I can’t. On Wednesday when we needed to extend our stay someone from the front desk, put a reservation in for us, called us back and told me that the reservation was completely taken care of and not to worry. My keys were waiting for me at the front desk when I got back from working that night very late probably after midnight we already had the keys. I went to the room and went to sleep when I went to work the next morning and later in the day I received a phone call from Leighton, giving me a very difficult time about extending my reservation for the next night telling me that the previous night had not been paid for and it was $141. When I tried to tell him what I had already been told there was no listening to what I had to say and what I had already been told. He told me that I had to come to the front desk immediately and pay for the previous night as well as pay for that night. I was already working close to an hour away and told him that that was impossible. I told him that I would go online and make the reservation for that night, but I could not deal with anything with the previous night until I returned. He told me that I had until 8 o’clock otherwise he was canceling that night’s reservation. He was beating me repeatedly. He did not want to listen to what I had to say. He was so awful to deal with. I could go on and on. When I returned, it took me until past 1 o’clock in the morning to get the entire issue straightened out because I had not been told that whoever made Wednesday night‘s reservation had also booked one for Thursday night as well and they expected me to pay for two nights totaling well over $200. I certainly was not going to pay for a second night, knowing that I had already previously booked a reservation online, of course at that hour, Leighton was nowhere to be found, and certainly he was not answering his phone or his text messages. They were threatening to cancel my reservation, leaving myself. My two children stranded for the night, They were changing shifts to any people had things to say there was too many people involved. I was getting too many and too much different information. This was just way too much for me to handle. I was told that I needed to pay one price somebody else that I needed to pay a different price I was told I needed to pay something else. It was just way too much and too many people were involved. Finally at 1 o’clock in the morning, I paid the $92 I was able to check into my room and go to sleep. The next day, I was then told that I was not able to make a reservation to extend my stay further and I’m only allowed to make reservations for one week at a time. Nowhere have I been told that I have to make reservations one week in advance for seven days at a time I have stayed at Marriott residence Inn before and never have I had to make reservations for seven days at a time, but I was told the manager can put that rule. into effect. what happens if I only want to stay here for five more days? Do I still have to pay for seven? I don’t know, regardless we had a broken dishwasher in our room and they thought it would just be easier instead of repairing the dishwasher to make us change rooms and move us from one end of the hotel all the way down to the other

Das Hotel war sehr schön und das Zimmer fühlte sich wie zu Hause. Ich mochte nicht, dass es mir nicht gesagt hat, ob das Zimmer eine Dusche oder ein Duschrot hatte, auch nach dem Alter des Kindes. Das ist ein wenig frustrierend, weil es so schwer ist, eine 3-jährige in einer Dusche zu waschen. Das Zimmer war nicht rauchend, aber das Zimmer riecht wie alter Rauch, so dass ich sehr gut gereinigt habe, um den Geruch herauszuholen, der überhaupt nicht zu schlecht war. Das Personal, das die Nachtschiffe arbeitete, habe ich ein paar Probleme mit. Ich denke nicht, dass sie halb oder halb Person ist, aber sie ist definitiv nicht eine Person der Völker. Seine Haltung war sehr grobe trocken und schneiden. Als sie uns etwas fragte, fühlte sie uns, als ob wir sie verärgerten und sie lügte uns über das Zimmer, das sie uns ins Haus setzte. Sie versuchte zu sagen, dass das Zimmer sagt Dusche nur, aber konnte nicht geben, wo es sagt, weil es gesagt oder Tub und ich weiß, wenn Sie für die Eincheckung ankommen, werden sie Ihnen ein Zimmer, das nach Ihrer Reservierung verfügbar ist. Es gab keine Wahl, um zu verlangen oder sicherzustellen, dass ein Tub im Zimmer war. Sie holte uns auf, um ihre Interaktion mit uns als brutal zu nehmen und versuchte, es etwas besser zu machen. Sie lächelt nicht und sie sieht sich an, dass ich nicht hier sein will oder mit diesem zu tun. Ich hätte es nicht gefallen, dass die Beschreibung nicht viel von den Dingen an dieser Stelle passt und wahrscheinlich nicht hier reserviert hätte, wenn ich wusste, dass sie keine Kinderaktivitäten neben Basketball und Miniatur Golf haben. Ich liebe es, dass es neben vielen Einkaufsgeschäften und Restaurants, die zu Fuß gehen, ist. Ich empfehle Ihnen nur, entweder das Hotel oder jemand, den Sie vorbehalten, bestimmte Details zu kontaktieren, weil dies zweimal geschehen, um ein Zimmer zu wählen, das nach dem Alter des Kindes verfügbar ist, mit einem oder einem geben kann.

The longer we stayed the lesser the points became. When we checked in, at first glance everything was 5 stars. WiFi and location are definitely 10/10 for me. My first issue was with the refrigerator not working, I lowered the temp to the lowest possible setting but nothing changed and I notified the front desk and they said they would send someone to check within an hour and that person never showed up I’m not sure if they came while we were out but when we came back the refrigerator was still warm. This issue was never fixed up to the day we checked out. It was very disappointing as I had baby food that needed to be refrigerated. The blinds in the bedroom do not block out any light at all and our room was opposite a parking lot which head very bright lights all night long it was so hard to fall asleep I hope the property can have better curtains or blinds. Secondly, I’m not sure if I missed it somewhere about them not offering house keeping, at least there’s a washer and dryer so I just washed the towels on my own. We stayed 6 nights and no one ever came to refresh the rooms or even add more toilet paper or garbage bags. The floors were visibly dirty and dusty like they haven’t been vacuumed in months. The 9th floor common area was so filthy, the toilet was so dirty and smelly, the couch was so dirty I couldn’t even sit on it. The central cooling/heating system makes a strange long noise every now and then and it kept waking up my child. I could find any way to turn it off and that was very frustrating.

Für uns war die Lage großartig! Die Zimmer waren sauber und die Betten und Kissen waren sehr komfortabel. Service, zum größten Teil, war sehr gut, mit der einzigen Ausnahme, der Gentleman, der das Front Desk bei der Ankunft bemannt. Nicht freundlich überhaupt. Es fühlte sich wie eine Unterbrechung. Das Frühstück war Ihre Standardmesse. Schrauben, gepulverte Eier und Sauce oder Bacon, und machen Ihre eigenen Waffeln. Kaffee, Saftwahlen, Bagels und verpackte Süßigkeiten. Es war gut und es macht für ein schnelles und bequemes Essen. Das WIFI auf unserem Stock war schrecklich! In diesem alten Tag ist das nicht hinnehmbar! Ich habe den Computer im Frühstücksbereich benutzt, um unseren ausgehenden Flug zu schaffen! Das Gebäude wird verdaut, aber es gab Bauarbeiten, so dass sie vielleicht aktualisieren. Das Badezimmer hatte keinen Fan oder keine Handtücher. Leider scheint es, dass Menschen die Dusche Gartenschleife verwendet, da es sich nach unten dreht und Sie wirklich Anpassungen zu machen, um einen nassen Boden zu vermeiden. Es gibt keine Handbücher für die körperlich Behinderten. Das Ein- und Ausgehen aus diesem schleifenden Bad ist schwierig. Unser Toilettentank hatte einen Leck und musste häufig Wasser wiederladen. Schließlich ist das HVAV gut und es ist auch laut. Aber wenn Sie viel reisen, ist dies ziemlich häufig. Ein zusätzlicher Hinweis. Wir entschieden, dass wir wirklich keine Miete brauchen und würden Lyft/Uber verwenden. Es funktionierte gut, aber es gibt selten ein Auto in der Nähe. Wir sorgten dafür, dass wir Zeit für die Auswahl. Wegen seiner Lage und der typischen Lage eines Hotels dieser Rangfolge würde ich noch einmal dort bleiben.

I recently stayed at the Nittany Lion Inn for 4 nights and 5 days, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. The rooms were great — clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The hallways were absolutely amazing, lined with bookcases and cozy seating areas, all surrounded by fascinating history that truly made the Inn feel special and unique. The mocktails at Triplets were delicious, and the coffee at the café was just as impressive — such a treat during our stay. We were in town because my daughter danced at THON, so we were coming and going at all hours. It was incredibly comforting to be somewhere that felt so safe, welcoming, and conveniently close to everything we needed. Every single staff member was absolutely incredible. I never once arrived or left without someone opening a door for me — that level of attentiveness and hospitality does not go unnoticed. Everyone was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout our entire stay. I do need to especially mention Claire. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, she made our stay so comforting. When my flight was canceled, Claire went above and beyond to ensure my son and I were taken care of. She helped us navigate our travel changes and made a stressful situation so much easier. Her kindness and professionalism truly stood out. Thank you for making what was already a meaningful trip even more memorable. We will absolutely be back!

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Decent for price point.

Room was good stay for the night, however, the trip.com site did false advertise of pool at facility which was a huge reason on booking this hotel for the night. My family expectation to swim in a inside pool were crushed to oblivion when we found out not only is there not an indoor pool but to be told there was not a pool at the facility at all since they been open as of December 2025. I was told this by the female attendant on July 18th, 2026 at 9:48 am who was not at front check in counter but gossiping in the buffet breakfast area with another worker and a guest. She was very nonchalant about assisting me and my concerns, when I approached her after waiting for over 6 minutes at the counter and searching for whoever is working the front desk. I asked her what time is check out and if I could get a partial refund due to false advertising of pool and she said that I would have to contact trip.com or whomever the third party I booked with for it is not her concern nor does she deal with third party websites/companies WHILE storing her coffee or tea and not making eye contact with me in a condescending tone. Would I stay here again no, because of rude front desk staff.

Die Umgebung ist sehr gut, es ist im Golfplatz, sauber und hygienisch

Wir waren angenehmen überrascht von der Größe unserer Königszimmer Suite. Der vollgroße Kühlschrank war ein riesiger Plus. Es brauchte etwas Aufmerksamkeit auf das Teppich im Wohnzimmerbereich, da es (wie sieht) Tomatensaft und eine Saftsäfte. Es brauchte auch besser gevakuiert. Die Matratze war weicher als wir normalerweise waren, aber es war nicht schlecht. Ich denke, es ist das erste Hotelzimmer, in das ich je gelaufen bin, und das A/C war eigentlich an und das Zimmer war schön und cool. Das Frühstück war ein normales Hotel Frühstück, w/o Orangensaft. Nichts Besonderes. Mein Mann sagte: ”Sie verwenden echte Eier und nicht Karton oder Pulver.” Bei einem Urlaubsende hatten sie Schwierigkeiten, mit der Angebot/Nachfrage für das Frühstück zu halten. Es ist laut in der Nacht bis etwa Mitternacht mit Autos und Motorrädern, die auf/unter den Street. Musik über die Straße ist auch ziemlich laut. Ich kann nicht genug über das Front Desk Personal sagen. Matt war sehr nett, als wir angemeldet wurden, und er kam auch ins Zimmer, weil wir nicht herausfinden konnten das Schlafzimmer TV. Es ist nur etwa 3-4 Minuten Fahrt zum Presque Island State Park. Alles in allem würde ich hier nochmal überlegen.
