This hotel has seen better days in its multi-decade existence. It has gone through some renovations and name changes, but still seems to be in transition as we walked through the third floor paint fumes (half of the floor was being painted while still having guests on the floor) to our room at the end of an extremely long corridor. It seems understaffed and whatever staff they do have are wearing multiple hats and running around or in training. We encountered a spectrum of personalities from sweet to terse to neutral in their customer service/reception area. Their booking system is also a bit unclear. I got emails for ”pre check-in” and ”set checkout” which seemed fine, but I had selected a cocktail pack at the pre check-in and input my credit card information but was not charged for it. If my CC isn't going to be charged at that point, why should I have to enter my CC information at all? It should be noted that these are ”requests” the front desk can choose to fulfill for the guest or not. They still asked for a CC to be put on file for incidentals too, during in-person check-in, so online ”pre check-in” just seems pointless. We had booked our multi night stay on the Trip app and it did have us prepay but also said there would be a $89 charge at the hotel for four nights. We later learned it was a ~22 bucks ”resort fee” for our stay per night. I guess the resort fee includes the amenities of free water and free shuttle service? Breakfast wasn't included for our booking. The person checking us in even charged a $$$$ deposit amount larger than the cost of our 4 nights there, so I hope they are more careful on other security deposit charges, in the future. On another note, the 24/7 airport shuttle was great and the downtown shuttle service was excellent. Their free shuttle service is definitely a highlight. Kind drivers also -- lovely service from all the drivers we met and always helped us with our bags and directions. Big appreciation for the shuttle vans and drivers! Free water (2 bottles per guest per day) included at the front desk, which you have to make sure to grab yourself, as there was no ”deliver to room” option during our stay. The outdated facilities are somewhat maintained, as we had slow drainage in our shower tub and slow drainage in our toilet that nearly led to a clog. Luckily, the maintenance team was able to remedy that after our first night. We stayed 4 nights in total, but that first night was rough. Going forward, I would recommend this place for someone seeking adventure in a property that is next to a beautiful lake with cool seaplanes and a nice lobby full of taxidermy and doesn't mind the potentially tumultuous reception or dated bathroom.

The view from my room faces the ocean but the location at the end of Homer Spit isn’t exactly the best place to be because it takes 15mins walk to get to the centre where eateries, shops and ferries are located especially if you’re like me having to carry camera equipment. Taxi services tend to be slow at peak hours. Housekeeping is not efficient and needs to be reminded despite hanging the card out. Cups are not washed and bed is not made unless the card in the room(no card was placed in my room)is completed which was the excuse they gave. This happened for 5x out of my 9 nights where the other 4, I opted for no disturbance . Breakfast is buffet style but limited selection. My stay was over 9 nights. I have to return for another 3 nights on organised tour group. I informed receptionist upon checkout to put me in the same room. The answer is NO. The level of service at front desk and housekeeping needs improvement except for a special lady, Lena who is exceptionally friendly and helpful. All in all, there is no value for money.

Das Frühstück ist relativ einfach, das amerikanische Frühstück, Eier, Weizen, Süßigkeiten, Milch, Fruchtsäfte und Joghurt. Die Einrichtungen sind alt, aber noch sauber, das Zimmer ist groß, das Bett ist groß, geeignet für viele Menschen Familien, in der Nähe gibt es Wenti Hamburg und McDonald's. Die Tür hat 65 Straßenbusse, können Sie ins Zentrum gehen, etwa 15 Minuten Fahrt, 2 Messer Fahrgebühr, wenn Sie den Wagen fahren, 18 Messer.

Das Hotel ist zwar noch ziemlich neu, aber es gibt eine erschreckende Menge an Trage und Tränen bereits auf allen Möbeln, Türen und Wänden. Während die Reinigkeit wie erwartet ist, ist eine Sound-Isolierung nicht vorhanden, weshalb es schwer war, zu schlafen, wenn man jedes Fahrzeug draußen so laut hören konnte, als ob man neben ihm stand (und unser Zimmer war auf der höchsten Etage). Die Check-in-Lady am Front Desk und das Küchenpersonal waren nicht sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war wahrscheinlich das schlimmste, was wir je hatten. Es wurde von 6:30-9:30am angekündigt, aber als wir um 7 Uhr angekommen waren, mussten die meisten Artikel wie Bagels bereits verschwunden und nicht wieder gefüllt worden sein. Auch die Pancakemaschine wurde gebrochen. Insgesamt war es ein sehr enttäuschender Aufenthalt.

Das Hotel liegt ganz in der Nähe des Flughafens, nur 10 Autominuten entfernt. Nachts war es ruhig, und wir fühlten uns während unseres fünftägigen Aufenthalts nicht gestört. In der Nähe gibt es ausgezeichnete koreanische und japanische Restaurants, die köstliches und preiswertes Essen anbieten. Die Zimmer sind nicht groß, aber ausreichend. Die Ausstattung ist veraltet, und das Badezimmer hat überraschenderweise keinen Abluftventilator. Das Frühstück war gut, aber die Auswahl eintönig, jeden Tag das Gleiche. Nach fünf Tagen wurde es langweilig. Jeden Tag kamen koreanische Reisegruppen. Insgesamt ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis des Hotels akzeptabel, aber ich würde nicht wieder hier übernachten, wenn es bessere Alternativen gäbe.

Das Aufenthaltszentrum im Norden Sky Lodge war eine unglaubliche Erfahrung und der perfekte Ort für die Aurora-Ansicht. Ich blieb zwei Nächte und sah die Nordlichten beide Nächte! Die Atmosphäre ist so warm und gemütlich, mit einem großen Wohnbereich und einer voll ausgestatteten Küche. Das Frühstück mit heißem Kaffee und Kakao im Schnee war nur magisch. Sie müssen einen Mietwagen und fahren etwa 30 Minuten von der Stadt, aber es ist es wert, weil das Entfernen von den Stadtlichten für die klarste Aurora-Aussichten unerlässlich ist. Es war wirklich eine ultimative Erfahrung!!!

Stay at ramada was a 4/5 with early check in and nice and supportive staff. Location was near and walkable from downtown. Every excursion pickup point is literally 5-10min walkable from hotel. Only reasons for not giving 5/5 are 1. Room Phone was not working 2. Temperature control of Shower if our room was not working though they did provide alternate room just for shower purpose I would recommend this hotel for nearness to downtown and especially friendly staff

it is a good place to stay; it is very convenient, near the airport, a 3-5 minutes drive away, some tourist attraction like Pioneer park, pikes ice bridge, and Fred Meyer. the hotel is very clean, they have free coffee at the front. but there is no housekeeping. they didn't clean our room for 3 days, so i assumed they didn't have a housekeeping daily. the staff was very friendly, except for the lady with the blue/red highlights on her hair; she was mean to my daughter.

Dieses Hotel ist in der Nähe des Traditionszentrums / des Railways / des Tagestours 5-6 Fußgängerfernung. Besonders beglückwünschen junge Damen der Rezeption, dass die Service-Einstellung sowohl enthusiastisch als auch professionell effizient ist und die Behandlung von Mitgliedern der Elite (auch durch eine Drittplattform) behandelt wird, und dass die Bereitstellung von Gepäck sicher und zuverlässig ist. Das Gibin hat einige offizielle Reisebüros, die einen Buchungstour anerkennt, und ist sicherer als eine Reihe von kleinen Boots auf dem Kaiser. Es wird empfohlen, in diesem Hotel zu bleiben.
