"Great location, fantastic staff Verdal Hotell is located in the vicinity of Verdal train station. One minute walk - just cross the road and you are there. Easy access by train from Trondheim Værnes airport. Trains are running every hour. Next door is Verdal Thon shopping center so easy access to shops and grocery stores. The staff was excellent! So serviceminded, friendly and attentive. They followed up our questions and provided great pieces of advice. We really felt welcome and that they really cared for us as guests! The hotel is clean and nice. Please be advised that this is a country side hotel with less fancy amenities. We didn’t book for fanciness, but searching for great value. The bed was comfortable, nice and fresh linen, it was possible to open the windows and get fresh air. I The breakfast has was nice with a solid selection of fresh items. Some of these are very traditional Norwegian dishes. The dining hall was not crowded so we could enjoy our food. I would like to particularly underline that the hotel showed great flexibility in order to provide breakfast a little earlier than regular times because several guests participated in a local event, and had some time constraints related to transport. This adjustment was highly appreciated and provided us as guests to get better time and being able to have breakfast before early departure. I will commend the staff for doing their utmost for the guests. We can highly recommend this hotel."
