Ein großes Lob an dieses Hotel! Mein Aufenthalt dort war fantastisch. Das Hotel liegt zwar in der Nähe der Straßenbahnhaltestelle, aber im Winter ist es trotzdem etwas mühsam, das Gepäck zu ziehen. Das ist aber in Hokkaido in jedem Hotel so 😆. Die Rezeptionistin war sehr hilfsbereit. Sie hat mir ein Taxi gerufen, als ich nicht wusste, wie das geht.

Located in the peaceful town of Naganuma, it’s about a 30-minute drive from New Chitose Airport and roughly one hour from central Sapporo. While it’s far from the bustling city center, that distance is exactly what gives the place its rare sense of tranquility. When I arrived at the parking lot in the middle of winter, my car was covered in snow. Before I could even grab a shovel, a staff member came over with a friendly smile and quickly cleared the snow off the vehicle for me. The service was warm, efficient, and genuinely thoughtful—it made the whole check-in experience feel smooth and welcoming right from the start. The room impressed me immediately with its generous size. Compared to many typical Japanese business hotels, the space here feels noticeably roomy. I could easily open my large suitcase fully and organize everything without everything feeling cramped. The bed was comfortable, and the large windows offered an open view of the surrounding fields (a pure white snowscape in winter), which made the stay very relaxing. Cleanliness is another standout feature. The entire hotel was impeccably maintained—floors, bathroom, bedding, everything spotless. There wasn’t the slightest odd smell in the air, and I slept very soundly every night. The surroundings are extremely quiet. At night you hear almost no traffic or human sounds—just the soft whisper of wind. It’s the perfect place if you’re looking to escape city noise. The downside is that there are no convenience stores within walking distance, so if you don’t have a car it can be inconvenient. I recommend stocking up on snacks and drinks at a roadside station (Michi-no-Eki) or supermarket before checking in. Scenery-wise, the hotel is surrounded by wide Hokkaido plains. In winter it’s an endless blanket of snow; in summer I imagine it turns into lush green fields—either way, it’s incredibly photogenic and healing for the eyes. Although it takes about an hour to drive to central Sapporo, having a car turns this “remoteness” into an advantage: you can easily reach nearby hot springs, farms, or head further north to other attractions. In summary, this hotel is an excellent choice for self-drive travelers looking for a comfortable overnight stop or anyone who wants a quiet, restful base. Great value for money, spotlessly clean, friendly and attentive staff, plus that peaceful away-from-it-all atmosphere—I’d happily return on my next Hokkaido trip.

I recently stayed at Hotel Mystays Sapporo Susukino and overall had a comfortable and convenient experience that suited my travel style perfectly. The hotel is located in the heart of Susukino, Sapporo’s most vibrant entertainment and dining district, which makes it an excellent base for exploring the city. It is about a five to seven minute walk from Susukino Subway Station, giving easy access to other parts of Sapporo, including Odori Park and Sapporo Station. The surrounding area is filled with restaurants, ramen shops, convenience stores, cafes, and nightlife spots, so finding something to eat at any hour is never a problem. Despite being in a lively neighborhood, the hotel itself feels calm and secure once inside. The room was compact, as expected for a Japanese city hotel, but it was thoughtfully designed to maximize space. I stayed in a standard room, which had a comfortable bed, a small desk, a flat-screen television, a refrigerator, an electric kettle, and air conditioning. There was enough space to open a medium-sized suitcase, although travelers with very large luggage might find it slightly tight. The bathroom was clean and functional, with a combined bathtub and shower unit, along with basic toiletries provided. Water pressure was good, and hot water was consistent, which was especially appreciated during the colder Hokkaido weather. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was satisfactory. Housekeeping maintained the room well, and the common areas such as the lobby and hallways were tidy. The staff members were polite and professional, and while not all were fluent in English, communication was smooth and efficient. Check-in and check-out processes were straightforward and quick. One highlight of the stay was the breakfast buffet, which featured a mix of Japanese and Western options. There were rice dishes, miso soup, grilled fish, salads, bread, eggs, and several local Hokkaido ingredients. It was a convenient way to start the day, especially before heading out for sightseeing. The hotel also offers practical amenities such as free Wi-Fi, coin-operated laundry machines, vending machines, and luggage storage services. These facilities make it especially suitable for mid-length stays or travelers moving between cities. Overall, Hotel Mystays Sapporo Susukino delivers solid value for money. While it is not a luxury property, it provides comfort, cleanliness, and a prime location at a reasonable price. I would recommend it to solo travelers, couples, or friends looking for an affordable and well-located hotel in Sapporo.

Our apologies for the very honest feedback as we felt that we did not get a clear picture of what we were booking which caused us to be pretty upset and shocked. We wanted a hotel near Chitose Airport as we have a morning flight the day after, and chose Koko as it is a chain of hotel, while the service by the team is really top notch, she spoke English, the amenities were there but we really could not accept the hotel room itself as it was not what we expected from the description, price point & photos. We are really thankful for the lady at the front desk who was nothing but helpful even thou we put in a request to modify our booking as the room was not what we expected and we could not feel comfortable or rest and decided to end the booking early. Pros - Location is great with lots of food around, close to Chitose airport Cons - Parking was at the building opposite and made of scaffoldings and was pretty run down, did not have a lift and our luggage’s were too heavy, we had to pull it down the slope meant for car and the carpark was creepy. The room was really, really run down, corners were dirty & there was a consistent ringing / beeping sound that sounded like alarm, the kind front lady helped to check and said it was caused by the fridge but it was really disturbing and we could not rest the entire night. Especially one of the door hinge seems to be damaged and is replaced by tapes instead. The bedsheets had stains that looked like blood? And the male guest was walking around in gown scrubs which made us feel really disturbed. We felt that this was more of a 1* hotel rather than 3* as shown on Trip when booking, as the pricing was similar to our 3* hotel at Sapporo but the difference was shocking. Sound proofing is absent too, there were people talking, walking outside that we can hear clearly. Photos showed 3 beds in a row which we felt the space would be suitable but didn’t know it could be of a different layout and when we entered we were really shocked. There is no space to open luggage except on the bed itself. To be honest, the service was great but if you’re there for a holiday, it is really not recommended because it is really hard to rest there properly. But if you’re just there for a couple of hours or to stop by before airport then you may consider.

Durchschnittlich, nichts besonders Gutes oder Schlechtes, nur Durchschnitt. Was ich persönlich an dem Raum bedaure, ist, dass er von der Tür bis zum Innenraum mit dunklen Teppichen bedeckt ist. Sie können sich vorstellen, wie viele Menschen nur Schuhe tragen und im Raum herumlaufen. Ich traue mich nicht, mit bloßen Füßen auf den Boden zu treten. Was noch enttäuschender ist, ist die Hygiene. Ich habe einen magnetischen Aufkleber an der Tür angebracht, der zum Reinigen auffordert, bevor ich rausgehe, aber ich bin nicht einmal hineingegangen und habe den Müll nicht weggeworfen, sondern nur eine Tüte Handtücher aufgehängt Tür. Was bringt also die Reinigung...? Es ist schön, eine Mikrowelle und einen Verkaufsautomaten zu haben, aber es ist nicht die Art von Hotel, in der ich das nächste Mal übernachten möchte

The hotel staff welcomed us kindly and guided us through the check in process upon arrival. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice toilet inside. The hotel provides a small public onsen (hot spring bath) for stayers. Near the entrance was a spacious resting area where you can chill and work, provided with comfy sofa and free matcha. I personally enjoyed the area and worked for a few hours there, it was quite a relaxing experience. Overall would recommend.

Ausgezeichnete Lage. So nahe dem Quad-Stuhl wie Sie können. Ich empfehle dem Abendessen ein Frühstückspaket. Erstaunliche Auswahl von Sushi, Fleisch, Meeresfrüchte, Burger, Curries und so weiter. Genügend Sorte, um mein krankes Essen Kind zu verfüttern. Öffnen Sie eine Bar und stechen Sie Ihre eigenen Bier. Kinder spielen Raum.... mehr für jüngere Kinder. Schöne Tisch in der Kinderspielplatz war wunderschön, wie alle Einrichtungen, warme Schokolade, Bier, Sake. Die Zimmer waren geräumig, obwohl die Betten wahre Einzelpersonen und kleine sind. Sofabett wurde für Kinder verwendet und war super hart. Wir würden hier wiederkommen.

Sehr nettes Rezeptionspersonal. Sauber, drei Aufzüge womit man nicht lange warten muss, insgesamt nettes Hotel. Super Lage zu Haltestellen und Shops, das Eisfestival ist auch in Laufreichweite. Wir hätten uns nur gewünscht, dass man das Handy irgendwie mir dem Fernseher hätte verbinden können. Da wir absolut nichts mit japanischem Fernsehen anfangen können und gerne z.b. YouTube geschaut hätten. Side note- packt nichts in die Tasche vom Hotelpyjama, oder es wird ausversehen bei der Zimmerreinigung mitgenommen.

This is my second stay here because I love this hotel so much! The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city and very convenient. There’s an Airport Bus stop right at the hotel for easy transfers to/from CTS Airport. It's located directly in front of Odori Park, which was amazing during the Snow Festival—I could just stroll out and enjoy the event. I also loved the free rooftop Onsen for guests. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Check-in/Auschecken ist einfach & Auto. Speicherzimmer ist groß und bequem von sich selbst zu tun. Das Zimmer ist standardmäßig klein. Luftkonzentration ist zentralisiert, kann die Moduskühl-/Wärme-Veränderung nicht verändern, aber Sie können das Fenster ein bisschen öffnen.
