Location is very good, not so far from main road. Close to the hote there is an restaurant and petrol ststaion. It was quite, breakfast was good. The water pressure in shower was very weak, and the window was not hermetic, so it was quite cold before switching on the heater.

Das Zimmer ist insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber die Inneneinrichtung des Hotels ist immer noch sehr markant, das Frühstück ist gut und die Lage im Stadtzentrum ist auch sehr gut. Der Nachteil ist, dass das Netzwerk schlecht ist und es keinen Aufzug gibt (aber der oberste ist zwei Stockwerke lang).

The hotel promotes itself as Dog friendly but it only accommodated dogs in the annex bedroom. Dogs are not allowed in any part of the main hotel reception, dining area etc so it’s not really a dog friendly hotel. As owners our movements were restricted as it wasn’t appropriate to leave our dog in an unfamiliar location unsupervised as he became very distressed. Dog friendly hotels usually allow owners to bring dogs into reception areas and dining areas. If I knew this was not possible I would never have booked. On a positive note the young man Rory working in the dining room gave a great standard of service, listened to our concerns and couldn’t be anymore attentive. It is important to highlight this and obvious how hard he was working whilst we where there😀 please note the photo uploaded was taken in another local dog friendly hotel ‘Mckays’ which did actually allow dogs in the bar and communal areas as it should be.

Das ist eine Überraschung. Dieser Laden hat über 300 Jahre geschichtet.
Eine Silber-Familie aus allen acht Seiten.
Ich habe drei Nächte gelebt. Ich habe gutes Leben mit Großmuttern.
Der Preis ist angemessen. Es ist eine sehr gute Erfahrung.
Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, sehr nahe dem Fluss und dem Museum...

Ein schönes Hotel in ruhiger Umgebung. Barservice war etwas langsam, aber die meisten Male im Tag verfügbar. Essensservice war ok. Frühstück war gut... breite Vielfalt... obwohl die Früchte frischer gewesen sein könnten, (Apple war braun). Abendessen in der Nacht war ok. Der Unterhalter war gut, genossen seine Musik und Freude. Es war schwer, einen Taxi zu bekommen, an dem wir verließen und war mit Regen schwimmen. Die Mitarbeiter waren wirklich hilfreich und führten uns zum Zug, für den wir wirklich dankbar waren! Ich schlage vor, einen Cabo vorzubehalten.
Unser Zimmer war komfortabel und eine gute Größe. Allerdings brauchen die Badewanne-Fenster-Gräben Aufmerksamkeit. Ein Duschegarten mit Presseschnüren war nicht geeignet für Sicherheit und Privatsphäre!
Wir würden wieder bleiben.

GGastnutzerA lovely stay with an upgrade to a cottage, all quickly and efficiently arranged. This was a trip in honour of an annual expedition for my late wife Caroline and I to the Pitlochry area for autumn. Caroline always wanted to stay in the lovely cottages so it was fate and her sparkle that helped with the upgrade.
Food is incredible and a wide selection of choices along with fantastic, friendly service and drinks. Very good to eat and sit by the river in warmer times. Terrific breakfast too.
The cottage was spacious and kept warm. Very comfy. They are not new so you must allow for some quirky spaces and layouts. It was lovely to have that space to relax.
Port Na Craig is a 10/15m walk from the town over the suspension bridge or the dam. It's a beautiful walk but be careful near water. Pitlochry is a beautiful town that Caroline and I have enjoyed for years and I'll continue to honour her by visiting. Thanks to the Port Na Craig team for making me so welcome and for the prosecco for toasting Caroline. Much appreciated.

AALEXPRIVery pleasantly surprised. Arrived to hear that they were currently RENOVATING the rooms. Brand new room, new bathroom, excellent bed. Wi Fi was free, as was the tea and coffee. You also get a free breakfast which is remarkable value - either a full English or a continental. Juice, pastries, coffee machine, spreads - was very good indeed for the price paid. Curry house also ran by the same people is attached, with a bar and a pool table. So so convenient. Car park very close by. Less than 1 minutes walk.

GGastnutzerWe have been happy with the location, only that our room was downstairs and located right across from the toilets for the pub. It was very noisy. And you couldn't open the window, cause the window is towards the courtyard and there was a table right in front of the window and people who visit the pub can sit at tables in the courtyard.
We would stay again but with a room upstairs 😉

GGeorgyDas Hotel ist auf der Hauptstraße von Dunkeld, aber mein Zimmerfenster war zum Innenhof mit Hotelparkplatz. Sehr ruhige Lage. Gutes Zimmer Größe. Sehr großes Bildschirm-TV mit Netflix. Große Wahl für Frühstück mit großen Teilen. Sehr freundlich und hilfreiches Hotelpersonal.
