Ich hatte einen angenehmen Aufenthalt im Holiday Inn Express London - Dartford. Der Check-in-Prozess verlief schnell und effizient und das Personal war freundlich und professionell. Mein Zimmer war sauber, komfortabel und gut gepflegt und bot alles, was ich für einen kurzen Aufenthalt brauchte.
Das kostenlose Frühstück war eine nette Geste, mit einer anständigen Auswahl an Optionen, um den Tag zu beginnen. Ich schätzte auch die günstige Lage, von der aus man die umliegenden Gebiete leicht erreichen konnte.
Insgesamt war es eine komfortable und problemlose Erfahrung und ich würde in Betracht ziehen, in Zukunft wieder hier zu übernachten.

Das ist das vierte Mal, dass ich im Holiday Inn Express in Folkestone geblieben bin, aber die Kosten dieser Buchung waren viel höher als ich zuvor zu zahlen hatte. Das Hotel ist gut, und das Frühstücksbuffet ist ausgezeichnet, eröffnet um 6 Uhr, ermöglicht einen frühen Start auf Le Shuttle.

Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel gründlich genossen und wurde von der hervorragenden Kundenservice beeindruckt. Von der Rezeption bis zum Frühstücksteam, das Personal bietet warme und freundliche Gastfreundschaft. Besonders dank Murahi, Rohitha, Mellon, George und Joel für ihren hervorragenden Service und für das Gefühl, dass mein Aufenthalt wie ein 5-star Erlebnis ist. Ich freue mich auf die Rückkehr für einen weiteren Aufenthalt!

Spectacular stay as always, I upgraded to a balcony a room and we weren’t disappointed. Amazing views of the harbour, beach and the white cliffs of Dover on the large balcony. At night it was lovely clear skies and we could see France from our balcony. Room was a great size with homely furniture and furniture for the balcony too. All clean and up to a high standard. Beach and harbour is just a 2 minute walk across the road. Bar and restaurant yet again superb! I went with a dog and had no problems getting meals. Staff as always super polite and helpful they are a credit to the hotel! Highly recommend The Grand Burstin to anyone!

This is just an average chain hotel, located at the center of Canterbury. Clean, easy, express business chian hotel. Arrival experience is not very good as the reception isn't that friendly, maybe thats typical white people culture at chai hotel. ( Ps; not trying to be racist ) Serve standard buffet breakfast. Room is clean , size is standard. What's more you ask for, if that's only $260 for 2 nights for 1 room include breakfast .

The thing I loved is, it was very neat and good maintained room. But the heater wasn't working and while I had a complimentary breakfast offer, I wasn't given that cuz I had to leave by 7.45 while breakfast served only at 8am, (I really hoped if a provision was made, since we are paying definitely!) Well, the receptionist was kind to give a small heater which didn't really heat up that room but yes, something better than nothing. Cleanliness certainly deserves a bonus point, though. And it was close to Chatham station, also ubers are available, hence travel options were also good. Pretty nice hotels nearby.

Das Hotel war sauber und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Lage war schwer zu finden, aber insgesamt war ein schöner Aufenthalt. Bonus, dass es einen Whs 24hr Markt gab!

GGastnutzerIt's been quite a while since i last stayed at the Kings Arms... and this trip reminded me why!
There is very little choice of Hotels in the area, and Kings Arms is centrally located in Westerham with many decent Pubs and Restaurants in close proximity.
The Hotel had undergone a lot of fairly recent External Renovation and looks amazing from the outside... maybe one day they can progress to modernising the interior.
Bar Area and Restaurant areas are absolutely fine, and you cannot fault the friendliness and helpfulness of the Staff.
However, the journey upstairs with the threadbare carpet kinda lets you know what is instore for you inside the room.
On this most recent stay, the room itself was HUGE! I booked a deluxe Double. Massive Bed, and ample furniture.
Carpet threadbare in places and the Central Heating Radiator didn't work. A small Electric heater had been placed in the room, but due to the enormity of the size, it was inadequate to produce any real warmth in the room. Poor quality lighting.. but i thinks that made me by design!
The Bathroom was equally large, but similar to the room (and others i've stayed in previous) i suspect maybe the 1980's was the last time it had a facelift. It was adequate to take a wee, and clean my teeth.. but i could only imagine my wife's reaction to the sheer thought of taking a Bath in there!
It's such a shame really... perfect location to stay for either Business while working at Biggin Hill Airport, or for a weekend getaway with the wife.
However, if the latter... i would seriously advise to take a look across the road. You'll have a much happier wife!!
This could be an amazing hotel - but it sure does need a lot of work on the inside.

CChris J HornWhat an amazing hidden gem this is. Nestled on a hill top overlooking the marshes with Warehorn church over the road, this pub with rooms is a must for a romantic get away.
We arrived early and had a drink in the bar, which is beautifully quirky, a welcoming log fire burning and a wide selection of drinks.
We had booked ”Niddy” an attic room with so much to give, a comfy bed, roll top bath, and so much character.
The only ****** I had with the room, was the W.C squeezed into the roof space it was a little awkward to stand up and wee, but that's a small thing when it comes to such a great room.
Requesting a quiet table for dinner, we were given one in a side area and again we couldn't believe it, it was super romantic and we had the whole room to ourselves. Our waiter Muli was so good, he was attentive but not intruding, and so funny, we haven't had many meals out and he really did make the evening.
The food was excellent and the vegan burger was one of the best I have had.
The location was brilliant, if you're into walking, cycling, birdwatching or wanting to visit local sites (rye was only 20min drive away)
The rest of the staff were also brilliant, and couldn't do enough for us.
We will definitely return.

Ich kam und wurde bei der Rezeption von Chloe.Sie war erstaunlich, glücklich, willkommen,chatty,unter der Erde, die brillant war.Die Bewohnerbar war schön und quaint.Ja ist ein altes Stil-Hotel, aber ich liebe die alte stile Seefront-Hotels, Das Dekor in meinem Zimmer war zu viel (bedeckt in Parrots Haha) aber das war gering. Das Zimmer selbst war für mich geräumig, hatte alles, was es brauchte, war perfekt für meinen Aufenthalt. Die Bar, die sie im Grünbuch haben,Gut was eine Nacht war. Da wir von Connor gedient wurden, und da wir meinen neuen amerikanischen Freunden beitraten, die auch im Hotel geblieben waren, hatten wir einen absoluten Ball. Zu viele, aber schöne Cocktails und eine glückliche Stunde, ich werde sagen, es war ein hit aha. Ich habe keine Fehler mit diesem Hotel, es ist billig,freudig und ist perfekt, wo es über das Meerblick.Kein Eingang von Kurf,freies WLAN,Sehr hilfreich, wenn es um Informationen gebeten. Ich konnte nicht um ein glücklicheres,komfortableres Hotel bitten. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel, ein perfektes altes Hotel im Meeresfront, einen Blick zu träumen, alles in der Wanderweite, erstaunliche Gastfreundschaft und Pflege für die Bewohner, die bleiben, und für was es kostet, es hat definitiv seinen Wert. Bestimmt irgendwo würde ich wieder bleiben xxx

GGastnutzerWonderful location, just a stones throw from the Centre of Canterbury. Our Host was lovely, very kind and welcoming.
Breakfast was not overwhelming, very basic. It was included in the price so can't really complain.
Lots of niggles with the room though..... maintenance appears to be down on the list of the priorities sadly.
Fridge didn't work.
TV had cracked plastic frame around it. Remote didn't connect to the TV. However you could turn on the TV manually....once you'd sussed out what wasn't working first.
Bedside set of drawers had handles that kept falling off.
No sink plug in the bathroom. You had to be a contortionist to see in the bathroom mirror, it could have been better positioned on the adjacent wall.
It was also a little concerning that all the electric devices had to be plugged into just one trail board.
That being said, inspite of all the niggles, it didn't stop us from having a lovely weekend stay in Canterbury - location made up for it along with Sanjeewa's hospitality.

I was welcomed warmly, but disappointed to discover at check-in my room was on the 5th floor & no lift! A disability prevents me from doing many stairs. I was offered an upgrade for an extra £20, so I paid. (In hindsight feel this is a common practice & felt a bit conned). I then found out I still had 2 flights of stairs to the first floor!! 😩
The room was spacious & tastefully decorated as you will see by the photos. A spare bed in the room, great for families. Nice coffee & tea facilities.
I found the room very cold, so told a member of staff & asked if the heating was coming on or what could they do, I never heard from anyone in response, so was very cold in the evening.
If you don’t like to be cold & lots of stairs are a problem don’t book.
If those are not a problem then it’s a characterful hotel, with a great restaurant. Just avoid being talked into an upgrade!!!

OOldhamA good one night stopover point at motorway services which have fast food outlets. On arriving i was allocated a room which absolutely stank of urine. However, after returning to Reception and explaining I was swiftly and courteously offered another room upgraded by way of apology. The Customer Service by the Reception Staff was excellent and the problem quickly resolved. The hotel room was very quiet and comfortable with secure parking nearby. Great for Business Travellers or one night.

GGastnutzerGroße Lage, schöne Spaziergang um den See und nahe gelegene Waldgebiete. Personal ist freundlich und der Service ist gut. Zimmer sind veraltet und konnte mit viel Modernisierung, leider ist es nicht einmal im Gleichgewicht mit einigen Reisewohnungen. Die Wände sind nackt, so können Sie Geräusche und Stimmen aus den benachbarten Zimmern hören. Zimmer sind nicht sauber, Sie erhalten, was von einem 3-Sterne-Hotel erwartet wird. Frühstück ist nur ok. Insgesamt, wenn Sie nach einem Stoover für die Nacht suchen und aufwachen wollen, um schöne Ansichten zu sehen, dann sicherlich ein Zimmer mit Blick und nicht das Standardzimmer, das endlich übersehen kann A2. Wir buchten jedoch ein Seeraum, das auf der zweiten Etage zugewiesen wurde und die Aussicht war wirklich sehr schön.
