Stayed in this hotel as we are visiting the Chatsworth House the next day. Unfortunately we had a penalty charge for stopping our car at the front of the hotel for only 2 mins to off load luggage. It would be better if the hotel mention this before we check in.

The hotel is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from Derby Station, which is very helpful for travelers. However, the room was a little dark, and the lift was out of service during our stay, which could be inconvenient if you have luggage. The bed was too soft for our comfort, and it was difficult to adjust the shower temperature properly. Although it only takes a minute to reach the train station, it’s about a 20-minute walk to get to the main city centre. On the positive side, the check-in process was quick, and the staff were quite friendly and helpful.

We used to live this hotel since December 2023. This time during our stay the bathroom curtain was very stingy and it’s bad smell spread all over the room.
The staff and other facilities are always good. If they take little more care of cleanliness then it would be commendable.

Service was good. Stayed for one night. Bed had some hairs which had to be mentioned to the reception for a room change, the sink was also not in a great state. Otherwise not bad for the price. Cheapest in the area. Location is okay however have to travel around 10 mins to get to a local shopping centre or supermarket to buy any decent food b

GGastnutzerDas Hotel selbst war sehr schön. Das Zimmer war groß und komfortabel (Vielleicht zu heiß zu manchmal). Die Zimmerausstattung und Freizeiträume und das Badezimmer waren sehr schön und fühlten sich ziemlich luxuriös. Das Hotel befindet sich in einem natürlichen und schönen Bereich, wo man auf der Straße umhergehen kann, und es gibt eine Pub neben der Tür. Das Frühstück war wunderschön mit einer unterschiedlichen Wahl. Das Restaurant für Abendessen war teuer, aber serviert großartiges Essen. Parkplatz war nicht viel von einer Frage, die die Dinge einfacher machte. Alles in allem eine große Erfahrung, und der Wert für Geld war brillant. Mein einziger Nachteil war, dass es schwierig, überall ohne ein Auto vom Hotel zu reisen. Keine Beschwerden sonst.

However, the interior of the rooms did not quite match the photos provided online. Our group stayed in three different rooms, and unfortunately, none of the thermal meters were functioning properly. The rooms were uncomfortably hot, making it difficult to fall asleep. In my own room, the washbasin was also clogged, which caused further inconvenience.

Das ist Getreide, Obst, Getreidebars, gebackene Artikel und eine große Auswahl an Kuchen, einschließlich Mücken, die für das Frühstück seltsam war. Das heiße Frühstück erfordert eine Zuschlagsgebühr, was ich noch nie erlebt habe. The full English would be best described as part English breakfast, with no sausages, tomatoes, or mushrooms included which is a bit of an insult when you’re paying a surcharge. Ich kann den Service oder was anderes nicht brechen, aber das fühlte sich ein wenig unnötig zu tun.
