Dies ist das beste Hotel, das ich während meiner fast viermonatigen Reise gebucht habe. Die Lage ist wirklich direkt am Meer und die Stadt ist voller Blumen Der Herr an der Rezeption war am frühen Morgen in der Nähe des Hotels und wollte mein Gepäck aufbewahren, um die Stadt zu besichtigen. Ich dachte, er hätte mich 7 Stunden früher als zur normalen Check-in-Zeit eingecheckt . Die britische Tour hat meine Weltanschauung subtil verändert. Eines Tages werde ich auch die Hilfe anderer brauchen mit meinen eigenen Händen.

Ok I'll start with positives. The location is literally adjacent to St Ives railway station and the beach so if you don't like walking the hotel is great for this. Hotel itself is on a steep hill, walking downhill to the main port/shops is about 5/10mins. Now the hotel. First impression of reception desk is great, looks clean and new and the reception staff were very friendly but then it went downhill from there. The ”luggage storage” room was a room that anyone could access particularly with the back door of the room wide open to the back of the hotel and yard. So i would be concerned leaving anything valuable. Our room was 313 on the third floor. Ridiculously warm with a basic tower fan for cooling, there was tea and coffee facilities that were good. The standard quality of the room was poor. Bedding was poor quality very uncomfortable only one pillow..if you could call it that. I would advise management to supervise housekeeping more and do room checks as the cleanliness was poor. As you entered you were greeted by a weird smell of damp. The view of the one window was great of the sea and beach but marred by the dirty seagull poop window and worn mouldy window frame, dirty dust on the sill. It's not hard to clean a window and window frame or get a maintenance person to reseal the edges of the window or put a temporary rubber sealant till a new window frame is fitted. The bath tub panel had a crack hole in it which could cause a cut if I wasn't carefully paying attention and a used soap in the shower. Orange yellowing in the grouting around the bath/shower. Limescale bathroom foam spray helps with this. This room desperately needs to be refurbished or renovated. I highly recommend watching Four in a bed or The Hotel Inspector in how to manage your rooms. The other room was room 11? backed onto the courtyard. A little better high ceilings, airy and cool looked like it had a repaint but again the shower room had a strong smell of urine. Other than that reception desk staff friendly, when mentioned the urine smell they got housekeeping to clean again, just a shame it takes other team members to slack somewhat on housekeeping and let the team down. More supervision is required. More maintenance. Look don't be put off by this review like I said location is great. Just be really specific with your room choice ie, renovated room-show photos you've seen on website so you know what room you're getting.

One of the best locations for a holiday, the hotel has rooms with a sea view ,located by the sea , spottles clean room . It has a restaurant with an excellent food menu and all the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. You can have a really nice time inside and outside with all the beaches near and any other activities . Highly recommended.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut. Es gab viele unvernünftige schlechte Bewertungen über diesen Ort, aber die Sauberkeit war gut, die Einrichtungen waren mehr als ausreichend, und das Personal war freundlich. Das Restaurant war auch ausgezeichnet, wieder ein großes Personal, und das produzierte Essen sah aus wie der Koch es auch ernst genommen. d.h. hausgemachte Tartarsäfte, hausgemachte süße Chillisäfte, frisches gebackenes Fisch. Gute Bierauswahl auch auf Draht.

Really loved that it was so easy to check in , an ideal location with a beautiful breathtaking view , the room was worth the price it was immaculate and had everything we needed , staff were very friendly and accommodating . The reception staff member even took our bags to look after for a few hours after we checked out to avoid us having to lug them about . Compliments to the staff

Surf Festival :- TV was down for 2 days ; aerial booster for several hotel TV' S was damaged by Boardmasters overload ! 50,000 people! Breakfast was a separate payment for 2 weeks ! A nuisance. It was on 2 bus routes ; to the station ; IE on the main road or in the hotel sideroad. I liked the zoo laid back meerkats , with paws up , eyes closed! Sun Bathing! There are family visits IE zoo, aquarium , beaches, and body board surfing.etc. You can board a Newquay bus for your hotel trips. IE Padstow , or Truro, just a few stops, saves walking. A grade 3 basic hotel but adequate.

I enjoyed my stay there in Cornwall, a lovely little B&B. The room is clean and comfy, and good value.

Ein wirklich toller Aufenthalt auf dem Tregenna-Hügel mit Blick auf St Ives. Das Hotel verfügt über mehrere Gebäude und viele Einrichtungen. Groß für schöne Wanderungen mit Blick und Sitz und Blick auf den Ozean. Wir haben in Lowarth geblieben, ein selbstgemäßes Gebäude mit zwei Schlafzimmern, zwei Badezimmern und einer oberen Küche und Wohnbereich. Es war wirklich ruhig und komfortabel!

Ein schönes Willkommen, wie wir von Tommy in der Bar gegrüßt und in unser Zimmer gezeigt wurden. Wir gingen zurück zur Bar und trinken. Die Bar bietet eine gute Auswahl an Bierlager und Wein. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich und war groß für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Das Bett war ein Doppel mit einer Matratzen, die für uns etwas weich war, aber das ist, weil wir eine sehr feste Matratzen zu Hause haben. Die Gäste waren sehr freundlich und freundlich. Leider, weil unser Aufenthalt am Sonntag und Montag war, konnten wir das Restaurant nutzen, da es für diese beiden Abende geschlossen wurde, aber das Menü sah sehr nett aus. Wir bezahlten für das Frühstück für zwei Morgen bei £15 pro Kopf pro Tag und es war sehr gut. Yoghurt, Obst, warme Krusten und Getreide waren an der Ankunft am Tisch und dann wurden wir eine Auswahl an gekochtem Frühstück, entweder ein komplettes englisches, Bacon oder Sauce sandwiches und geschrotet Ei mit geräuchertem Lachs angeboten. Wir hatten ein Problem einen Morgen, aber das war zu unserer Zufriedenheit sortiert.  Wir empfehlen St Tudy Inn für einen kurzen Aufenthalt.

Der Chef ist sehr gut, mit Lieblingsschlaf, enthusiastisch, Hygiene ist auch großartig, sehr sauber, der Chef macht auch persönlich Frühstück sehr groß und essen die Art Lieblingsschlaf. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß und das Bett ist sehr komfortabel, die Schlafkappe ist völlig neu! Das nächste Mal muss ich das Haus wieder richten!
