"Das Hotel ist sehr nah am Bahnhof Taichung gelegen, und direkt vor der Tür gibt es eine Bushaltestelle, was die An- und Abreise sehr bequem macht. Allerdings sind die Leitungen alt, und es dauert lange, bis warmes Wasser kommt – man muss den Wasserhahn sechs bis sieben Minuten laufen lassen, bis es warm wird. Ansonsten ist alles ziemlich durchschnittlich und weder besonders gut noch schlecht."

"Das Personal ist freundlich und die Lage hervorragend. Es sind etwa acht Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Taichung entfernt, und das warme Wasser fließt in angenehmer Kühle – einfach toll! Allerdings halten sich viele Indonesier und einige Obdachlose in der Umgebung des Hotels auf. Mich hat das nicht gestört, und ich bin gut zurechtgekommen; es war überhaupt nicht gefährlich. Direkt neben dem Hotel befindet sich ein kleiner Supermarkt, und in der Nähe verkauften eine Mutter und ihr Sohn Takoyaki – günstig und lecker. Außerdem verkaufte eine ältere Dame Fladenbrot mit Eierkuchenteig, roter Bohnenpaste und Sahne, das ebenfalls sehr gut schmeckt. Die Bushaltestelle zum Flughafen ist ganz in der Nähe. Sollte ich also wieder nach Taichung kommen, werde ich definitiv wieder hier übernachten. Preis, Lage und Freundlichkeit sind einfach top. Die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber als ich mir die Haare föhnte und die Haare mit einem Taschentuch abwischte, war das Taschentuch sauber. Der Boden war zwar dunkel, aber sauber, daher war ich zufrieden. Nachts gab es ein paar lärmende Chinesen, aber das dauerte nur ein paar Stunden, also war es nicht weiter schlimm."

Water Meworld is located in the urban core area opposite the Taipei Railway Station. It is an important transportation hub connecting the high-speed rail, Taiwan Railway, MRT, bus, and passenger railways. It has an excellent geographical advantage.
"Das Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber dem Hauptbahnhof Taipei und ist über eine unterirdische Mall (Ausgang Z2) erreichbar. Trotz der unmittelbaren Nähe muss man vor allem, wenn man mit der U-Bahn vom Flughafen ankommt, ein wenig laufen. Man benötigt vom Hotel zur U-Bahn ca. 10 Minuten, wenn man schnell geht, besser, man plant 15-20 Minuten ein. Beschilderungen sind vorhanden, jedoch manchmal etwas irreführend.
Das Hotel befindet sich in einem Geschäftshaus. Zu der Zeit meines Besuches (Nov. 2025) war die Lobby im Umbau, so dass der CheckIn-Bereich einen sehr provisorischen Eindruck machte. Mein Zimmer hatte keine Fenster, war jedoch klimatisiert und gut belüftet. Bei der Buchung kann man entscheiden, ob man ein günstigeres Zimmer ohne Fenster nehmen will oder nicht. Öffentliche Bereiche, Zimmer und Nasszelle sind sehr sauber. WiFi existiert und ist ausreichend schnell.
Im Hotel gibt es kein Restaurant und kein Frühstück, jedoch gibt es in der Umgebung, sowohl an der Straße als auch in der unterirdischen Mall, jede Menge Stände, an denen man sich für wenig Geld mit typisch taiwanesischem Essen eindecken kann. Um das Hotel herum gibt es auch Lebensmittelgeschäfte. Im Zimmer gibt es einen Heißwasserbereiter. Das Hotel hat eine Waschküche mit Waschmaschine und Wäschetrockner, wo man preisgünstig seine Reisekleidung waschen kann, die dafür notwendigen Münzen bekommt man an der Rezeption.
Das Hotel hat bezogen auf seine hervorragende Lage direkt am Hauptbahnhof Taipei ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis."

"The hotel room was clean and basic for the most part and a few small bugs in the bathroom, but nothing major. 4 bottles of water are included and slippers. Beds are firm and comfortable and pillows are ok. However, if you are allergic to napthelene (moth balls), then stay away as the place is strong smelling of moth balls though the room doesn't have a closet or wardrobe. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The bathroom is very basic without a door rack to hang your clothes and the shower partition is only enough to shield the toilet from splashes and without any sliding doors. Toilet doesn't accept toilet paper, so you'll need to put into the provided waste basket.
The young lady at the counter was generally helpful, but in a basic kind of way. The hotel is conveniently located right across from the Taiwan railway station in ”downtown” kind of area. The lobby looked big, clean, and decent with a ”putting green” off to the side. The room is quiet, though there are people talking loudly as they check in late at night. The lobby “free wifi” connects, but has no internet service. Room wifi is unsecured, so make sure you have a vpn or use it for unimportant things. They also provide a free luggage storage service before you check in so you can sightsee without lugging your luggage around town.
Overall, it’s a good choice for a basic short stay at a very convenient location. The price is also very good. Recommended choice for your next Tainan trip."

"Das Hostel ist super leicht zu erreichen und liegt sehr zentral. Die Betten waren auch sehr bequem. Obwohl der Raum ein eigenes Bad hatte, gab es noch ein weiteres Bad für alle auf dem Flur. Der Schrank zum Abschließen war groß genug für meinen ganzen Rucksack. Es gab auch einen Wasserspender auf jeder Etage. Die Inneneinrichtung war auch sehr schön, besonders die Gemälde auf jeder Etage haben mir gefallen. Es gab auch eine Küche, falls man sich etwas zubereiten wollte. Frühstück gab es aber auch ohnehin."

GastnutzerDas Hotel liegt nur eine Gehminute vom Ausgang M2 des Hauptbahnhofs Taipeh entfernt. Der Ningxia-Nachtmarkt und Ximending sind in etwa 20 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, und mit etwas Anstrengung kann man auch Dihua Street zu Fuß erreichen. Beliebte Restaurants wie Fuhang Doujiang und Shuangyue Food Company sind ebenfalls zu Fuß erreichbar, sodass man von morgens bis abends keine Probleme mit Essen oder Einkaufen hat.
Die Gästezimmer befinden sich im 5. bis 7. Stock eines gemischt genutzten Gebäudes. Die Zimmer sind so klein, dass ein Doppelbett den gesamten Raum ausfüllt. Es gibt jedoch einen Raum, der wie ein Innenbalkon am hinteren Ende des Zimmers wirkt, mit einem kleinen Tisch und Stühlen, wo man mitgebrachtes Essen genießen oder seinen Koffer ausbreiten kann.

Ich habe mich spontan für eine Nacht im Miwo entschieden. Ich kam gegen 22 Uhr an. Die Dame am Empfang war sehr energiegeladen und ihr Service war großartig (100 Punkte für ihren Enthusiasmus!). Obwohl das Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen war, war der Preis akzeptabel. Es liegt in einer belebten Gegend. Wenn Sie nur eine Nacht bleiben möchten, können Sie dieses Hotel wählen. Der CP-Wert ist hoch 👍🏻

I did not expect this accommodation to be a motel based on its Chinese name, so it was a bit of a surprise when I checked in.
The location is very convenient, which is a big plus. However, the overall environment had a slight smell of cigarette smoke. The room itself was spacious, but for guests arriving on foot, the access route is not very intuitive—you need to go down to the basement first and then enter through the parking garage, which makes the circulation feel somewhat inconvenient.

GastnutzerThis is our second time staying in Stat Beauty Hotel for their Luxury Double Room. This time we stay for 4 nights and the location of the hotel is near the MTR station and the night market of Shillin Night Market. It will about 15 - 20 minutes from the hotel walk to the MTR station or take 20 - 26 minutes from the hotel walk to Shillin Night Market.
The room we booked is big enough for us it two persons that stay and the room is nice but the hotel always provide one pillow for one person . If I sleep on the bed with only one pillow then I can see the rooftop and not the TV. I suggest to the hotel to provide two pillows for each person to stay without our request, so that he can watch the TV easily.
The bathroom is big and come with a big bathtub. The water pressure is now t very strong but just good enough for shower.
I would like to make a bit complaint to the old lady for the the housekeeping. She only come to change towels, refill toiletries and thru rubbish only and never do cleaning and arrange the bedding. So on my third day O have towels request to the front seat to tell her to clean our toilet.
Overall we are happy to stay in Star Beauty Hotel and would like to recommend this hotel to other travellers. I will stay again if I come to Taipei in the future.

Günstig gelegen, nur wenige Minuten vom Hauptbahnhof Taipeh entfernt. Ich hatte ein Zimmer im 5. Stock. Ohne Zimmerschlüssel ist der Zutritt zur Wohnetage nicht möglich. Das Zimmer ist klein. Im Kühlschrank befanden sich zwei kostenlose Flaschen Wasser. Es gibt keine Fenster im Zimmer, sodass kein natürliches Licht hereinkommt, aber über der Toilette befindet sich ein kleines Fenster, das etwas natürliches Licht hereinlässt. Das Duschbad und die Toilette sind getrennt. Es wurde gründlich gereinigt. Da keine Zahnbürsten vorhanden waren, habe ich meine eigene mitgebracht. Die Einwegpantoffeln im Zimmer sind dünn und schwer anzuziehen, daher ist es möglicherweise eine gute Idee, Ihre eigenen mitzubringen. Die Wände sind dünn, so dass man die Stimmen von nebenan hören kann. Für nervöse Personen nicht zu empfehlen. Im Zimmer gab es einen Leitfaden zur Organisation eines Taxis, sodass ich auf dem Rückweg ein Taxi zum Flughafen arrangierte. Ich konnte die Waschmaschine und den Trockner kostenlos nutzen, sodass ich drei Nächte lang jeden Tag meine Kleidung waschen konnte. Die Metzgerei vor mir gefiel mir so gut, dass ich sie zweimal herausnahm.

Das Hostel liegt direkt gegenüber dem Bahnhof und Busbahnhof von Hualien. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und bietet täglich wechselnde Gerichte. Die Unterkunft ist insgesamt sehr sauber. Praktischerweise stehen auch Waschmaschinen zur Selbstbedienung zur Verfügung. Ein 7-Eleven befindet sich in der Nähe, und direkt vor der Tür hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Berge.
