Great pet friendly stay in the mountains with free parking and amazing JiangXi food that we just had to order everyday. The drive up was easy, air was fresh and it wasn’t hot at all despite the 40degree heat. Only 1hr drive to 武功山, a very quick drive to town and they even gave gifts when we left. The down sides were, being a homestay, it’s so friendly there wasn’t much service. They din contact us beforehand, some homestay owners will enquire arrival time so they can welcome us, especially with steps leading up to the accommodation. The 2 ladies reacted like we weren’t expected, the butler had no smile and didn’t offer to help us carry our luggages up the stairs to our room, until I mentioned I will make a 2nd trip down. No one informed us there will be 2 dozen moths entering the room at night because we had the aircon on. Well, it’s summer…. Luckily we are both not scared of them, I can already imagine my screaming friends had it been them. I spent most of the 1st night clearing the moths. The 2nd night was better with only about 10 moths after the housekeeping lady told us to block the bottom of the door. We informed them we will only have their set breakfast on the 2nd morning, and they were so nice to cook us a bowl of noodles when we asked for breakfast on the 1st morning after we came back early from 武功山. Sadly when we went down for breakfast on the 2nd morning, there were no one around, and when we asked the butler if there is breakfast , his reply was like “think should have”. 😅 It’s around 30km for nearest takeaway so we munched on what we brought. It’s a 1.5hrs wait until we heard commotion and went to take a look, yes breakfast is ready. I knew they never read my request when they were a tad surprised we brought our pet along. I mentioned ahead we were there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. I didn’t expect a cake or surprise, a simple decoration in the room or just a birthday wish when we check in would have been so nice, especially since it’s the actual day. Nothing.. No helping with luggage after check out either. Overall still a lovely stay, will consider coming back if we need a pet friendly place.

Disappointing stay here. We had no choice but to extend our stay because it was Chinese new year and very difficult to find another place to stay and also my husband was sick so we had to change our plans and stay an extra night so he could rest. The place smelled like smoke everywhere. We have a baby with us and wanted a smoke free place. Despite the signs in the lobby saying No Smoking, people were smoking there and the front desk people didn’t care. The towels in our room had ashes on them and smelled like smoke. They were also ripped and badly needed to be replaced. (We got a smoke free room and learned on our trip that all they do for smoke free rooms is open the windows to air it out before you arrive. 🤦🏻♀️) There was insufficient toilet paper when we arrived and although they did provide more when we asked it was just inconvenient. The toilet paper holder was broken so we had to find somewhere else to put the roll of toilet paper. The sink leaked and it was supposed to be a dry washroom which is one of the reasons why I booked the place but turned out to be a wet washroom. Incredibly inconvenient with a baby. The shower drainage was missing a cover and it didn’t feel safe for my child when showering because her little feet could get stuck inside it. One of the days we needed to rest a little longer and the housekeeper asked us when we were leaving so she could clean our room. We said we needed 2 more hours (around 2pm) she kept trying to peer inside our room and said she wanted to get off work early. I found that incredibly rude. I understand it’s CNY and you want to go home early but that’s not something you should say to a guest who paid to stay at the hotel. Front desk people also did not seem friendly. Never saw any of them smile. We obviously don’t speak Chinese fluently and they laughed at us when they couldn’t understand us and wasn’t helpful in any way. Overall, not a very pleasant stay. Would not stay here again.

Ich hatte nicht erwartet, so eine tolle Erfahrung zu machen, nachdem ich diese Unterkunft spontan gebucht hatte. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und der Preis war durchaus angemessen. Es ist ein wirklich ausgezeichnetes B&B mit einem hervorragenden Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Sehr empfehlenswert! Der Besitzer war sehr großzügig und bot einen kostenlosen Transport zu unseren Sehenswürdigkeiten an. Der Service war tadellos. 👍 Zum Frühstück gab es hausgemachte Gerichte des Besitzers. Ich kann die gemischten Nudeln wärmstens empfehlen! Sie waren absolut köstlich! Der Besitzer teilte auch begeistert sein selbst eingelegtes Gemüse mit uns, das einfach fantastisch war!! Die Fotos waren atemberaubend~ und das Parken war problemlos! Ich war sehr zufrieden. 👍 Vom Service, der Sicherheit und der Ruhe her ist dies wirklich ein perfekter Ort für einen Ausflug! Verdient fünf Sterne!

Der Laden ist relativ gemütlich und die Zimmerausstattung ist relativ neu. Die Atmosphäre im Eltern-Kind-Zimmer ist sehr gut und den Kindern gefällt es sehr. Das Bett ist ziemlich groß. Obwohl es an der Straße liegt, ist es überhaupt nicht laut. Der Nachteil besteht darin, dass das große Bett zu weich und für Menschen mit Nacken- und Taillenproblemen nicht sehr geeignet ist. Das Kinderbett ist schön. Es ist sehr praktisch, auswärts essen zu gehen. Die Preise basieren auf den Preisen vor Ort, die etwas teurer sind als in anderen umliegenden Gebieten wie Leping City. Dieser Preis ist unser Tagespreis, also ist er insgesamt nicht schlecht. Dann haben wir in zwei Restaurants gegessen: Die Fleischqualität und der Geschmack des Schweinefleischs waren besser als das, was wir täglich auf dem Markt kaufen. Obwohl heimische Hühner teuer sind, handelt es sich um echte heimische Hühner. Der malerische Ort ist sehr schön und der Preis ist nicht schlecht. Eine Szene am Tag und eine andere am Abend. Die Aussicht am Abend ist besser. Der Lieblingswasserfall ist nah am Menschen und kann mit der Hand berührt werden.

We decided to upgrade to a ground floor suite and it was the best decision. The suite was bright and spacious with a private terrace overlooking the lake from which you got a spectacular view of the neighbouring Bajing park and bridge as well as an islet with a tree full of white egrets. The suite had both a bathtub and separate shower and a cosy niche with a circular bay window for enjoying one's tea. The grounds and public areas of this hotel were immaculate, and one can't help but be impressed by the cleaners constantly sweeping up every last leaf in the courtyards. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, from the receptionist who retrieved our laundry when we were out, to the lady owner who greeted us in the street and offered helpful suggestions for sightseeing, to the kitchen staff who tried their best to adjust to our western taste at breakfast. The hotel had a superb location on historic Bajing Street which was full of quirky shops selling antiques and folk crafts. The Song Dynasty cultural village, the Bajing Pavilion, the ancient city walls and the pontoon bridge were all within easy walking distance.

Wenn Sie den Besitzer im Voraus kontaktieren, wird er Sie in der Nähe der Hauptstraße abholen und Ihr Gepäck mit einem kleinen Dreirad bis zur Tür bringen. Er holt Sie auch ab, falls Sie sich bei Ihrer Erkundungstour verspäten. Ein Service wie zu Hause, bei dem Komfort an erster Stelle steht. Stellen Sie sich vor, Sie sitzen morgens oder nachmittags mit Ihrem Partner auf der Terrasse und genießen die herbstliche Landschaft des Bergdorfes – einfach traumhaft! Wir wünschen Ihnen viel Erfolg! Anreise: Autofahrer können am Straßenrand parken. Gäste ohne Auto können den Besitzer kontaktieren, um eine Mitfahrgelegenheit zu organisieren. Der Besitzer war sehr nett und holte uns sogar vom Bahnhof ab. Unterwegs erzählte er uns etwas über die Geschichte und Kultur Wuyuans. Sein Haus ist etwas ganz Besonderes, angeblich ein Überbleibsel aus der Qing-Dynastie. Dieser Volksbrauch liegt ganz in der Nähe von Wunuzhou, etwa fünf Autominuten entfernt. Morgens kochte die Frau des Besitzers Haferbrei mit eingelegtem Gemüse. Ich mag die gedämpften Brötchen am liebsten, aber ich weiß nicht, ob sie sie selbst macht. Mein Partner mag Haferbrei mit eingelegtem Gemüse, hahaha. Wir hatten zwei Schüsseln. Das Zimmer ist auch etwas Besonderes. Aber bitte keine Einwegpantoffeln im Badezimmer tragen. Ich bin gestern Abend aus Versehen ausgerutscht und es tat höllisch weh …

We visited Jingdezhen for two days in early September and had a lovely stay at Nanshe Bieyuan Homestay. It was one of the most comfortable experiences we’ve had at a hotel. The rooms were extremely clean and designed very thoughtfully. Everything was comfortable to use from the bed to the shower to the side table–and the room’s temperature was perfect! The amenities were also great, we loved the shower gels and were also able to wash our clothes after a long week of travel. We used their laundry machine, dryer, and outdoor clothing rod (for garments that cannot be machine dried). The location is also super convenient as it is close to key attractions and delicious food. We were able to walk to the Taoxichaun night market as well as most of our meals within 5 minutes and Didi was accessible to anywhere further. As a bonus, the hosts/owners were a super kind couple who were endlessly welcoming to us every time we encountered them. They greeted us warmly, gave us recommendations for our itinerary and meals. They helped us carry our luggage as well as store them during pre and post check-in. They always made sure we were stocked with what we needed such as water and snacks (including their homemade mung bean drink)! We also received two cute bracelets as a trinket gift :). Lastly, they have a cute dog named Cola who was so gentle and affectionate. We loved interacting with her as she reminded of us our dog at home! Thank you again for the lovely stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jingdezhen.

Ich übernachte selten in Bed & Breakfasts, aber dieses hier hat meine Vorurteile völlig übertroffen. Dieses B&B steht einem Fünf-Sterne-Hotel in nichts nach! Das Zimmer war sauber, hell und geruchsneutral. Die Ausstattung war neu und komplett, inklusive Wäsche-, Trocken- und Bügelservice! Das Frühstück war liebevoll zubereitet und köstlich.
