"Ich kann diese Unterkunft nicht empfehlen genug! Von dem Moment, als wir ankamen, wurden wir von der unspotten Präsentation und gemütliche Atmosphäre abgestürzt. Die Lage war absolut perfektnahe zu allem, aber noch friedlich in der Nacht. Unser Gastgeber ging oben und darüber hinaus, um uns zu begrüßen, auch mit den wunderschönen lokalen Tipps. Das Bett war unglaublich komfortabel, gewährleistet eine tolle Nacht Schlaf nach langen Tagen der Erforschung. Wenn Sie auf der Suche nach einem harten, entspannten und wunderbaren Ort zum Aufenthalt, suchen Sie nicht weiter. Wir planen bereits unser Rückkehrbesuch. Danke für eine erinnerebare Reise!"

"Lovely vibes, cool chill areas, community bar and community events plus the staff especially the lovely guy who booked me in was Amazing. However it's a very crappy old building with Nil working properly showers and broken toilets. I had 1 night in a nice female room which I barely even saw as I was out and Tried to rest at a 2nd booking being shoved into a mixed smelly weird noisy dorm on a top bunk with ****** knocking on the door at all hrs, one guy snoring and another twat on the phone I told off. Was stressful and I hadn't a Warm shower in a working functioning bathroom in 2 days. Not returning. If you like noisy rude tourists and old buildings with no lift carrying your bags everywhere and no showers, great!"

"Dieses Hotel war ein absolut wunderbarer Ort, um während unserer Reise zu bleiben. Die Lage ist unglaublich bequem für die Stadt zu kommen. Es ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom nächsten Bahnhof entfernt. Von dem Moment an, in dem wir gelaufen sind, war die Gesamtreinigung wirklich beeindruckend. Unser Zimmer war jeden Tag völlig unspottbar und sorgfältig gepflegt. Darüber hinaus erbracht das Hotelpersonal einen hervorragenden Service von der Ein- bis Aus-Check-in. Jeder Mitarbeiter, mit dem wir interagierten, war wirklich willkommen, freundlich und begeistert, zu helfen. Wir schätzten auch die Fähigkeit, unsere Gepäck sicher auf der Rezeption zu verlassen. Diese bequeme Gepäcklagerung gab uns die Freiheit, ohne schwere Taschen am letzten Tag zu befördern. Schließlich machte die schöne Aussicht aus unserem Fenster die ganze Erfahrung absolut perfekt."

"It was suitable for a one night stay to sleep after winter wonderlights. There was black mould as mentioned on other reviews in the shower and the shower door leaked water into the carpet outside the bathroom. Linen was nice and seemed fresh and bed was comfortable enough. I didn’t mind overlooking the shower for a one night stay but it wouldn’t be suitable for any more than that. There was also gap down the sides of the blinds which lets a lot of light in and the walls are quite thin so you can hear talking next door and the vline train beeps. I put white noise on to muffle sounds."

"There was a communication breakdown from Devine escape. The hotel is supposed to send me an sms prior to my check-in, however despite my email, and calls, I did not receive any updates from them. Only upon arrival at the hotel, we can’t find any ways to call the receptionist. Luckily, the caretaker saw us and help us with the check in process. However, there was no apology from the hotel. So that was a bit disappointing."

"Good location for watching penguins parade in the evening. Only taking 20mins drive to holiday park after finishing penguins parade show. Very nice staff. Clean and private cabin. Highly recommended."

The hotel itself perfectly blends heritage charm with modern practicality. While the building is historic, the interior is well-maintained, cozy, and comfortable. My room was compact but spotlessly clean, featuring all the essential amenities needed for a relaxing stay. It included a very comfortable bed, a tidy en-suite bathroom, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi that worked flawlessly throughout my visit. Though some of the hallway decor feels slightly dated, it genuinely adds to the classic, old-world character of the property rather than detracting from the overall guest experience. One of the standout features of The Victoria Hotel is its excellent guest facilities. After a long day of exploring the city's sights, having access to an indoor heated rooftop pool, a spa, and a fitness center was an unexpected and delightful bonus for a budget-friendly hotel. Furthermore, the on-site restaurant and bar, Mister Munro, provides a lovely, relaxed atmosphere with a great selection of delicious food and beverages. The hotel staff also deserve a very special mention. From a smooth, welcoming check-in process to providing helpful local sightseeing tips, the customer service was consistently polite, efficient, and highly professional. Overall, The Victoria Hotel offers outstanding value for money. It provides a comfortable, safe, and incredibly convenient base for anyone wanting to experience the best of Melbourne without breaking the bank. I highly recommend this wonderful accommodation and would gladly stay here again"
