Die Lage ist sehr praktisch, da das Zentrum von Melbourne nur 10 Gehminuten entfernt ist. Die RMIT University und die Straßenbahnhaltestelle Swanston befinden sich direkt vor dem Hotel. Leider hatten wir nicht genügend Zeit, Pool und Sauna zu nutzen, da diese nur von 7:00 bis 21:00 Uhr geöffnet sind. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Ich wusste nicht, ob Zimmerservice angeboten wird. In der vierten Nacht unseres Aufenthalts, nach einem Tagesausflug, stellten wir fest, dass die Reinigungskraft unser Zimmer ohne unsere Erlaubnis betreten und gereinigt hatte. Stellen Sie sich vor, was passiert wäre, wenn unsere Sachen verloren gegangen wären – hätte das Hotelmanagement den Verlust tragen können? Bitte betreten Sie die Zimmer nicht ohne vorherige Absprache. Gäste, die den Service in Anspruch nehmen möchten, fragen selbst nach der Zimmerreinigung.

Ein Hotel mit herausragenden Vor- und Nachteilen. Es liegt in der Nähe des Kongress- und Ausstellungszentrums. Wenn Sie Zeit für einen Spaziergang haben, können Sie dies auch tun Gehen Sie zum Kernbereich. Der Nachteil ist, dass das Gebäude alt ist, wahrscheinlich etwa 100 Jahre alt. Die Schalldämmung ist nicht sehr gut und die Klimaanlage ist etwas laut. Darüber hinaus verfügt dieser Zimmertyp mit Terrasse über keine Pflanzen im Außenbereich.

It’s my second night staying here in Melbourne before heading to the airport on the next day. I find it very convenient staying here. The room is okay and good enough for a short stay or on a budget.

Gut für Geld in einem lokalen Motel. Nette und saubere, heiße Dusche mit Toiletten und Haartrockner, Tee- und Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer, viele kostenfreie Parkplätze.

Hotel was close to several train and tram stations, making it easy to access a variety of routes and lines. There were also plenty of great food and drink options nearby — from morning coffee and afternoon matcha to flaky pastries and comforting hot meals. While some places were not immediately next door, they were still comfortably walkable, including Little Rogue, Matcha Kobo, Puzzle Coffee, Time After Time, Lulu’s Malaysian Hawker, and many more. Also worth mentioning, I arrived in Melbourne earlier than expected and called the hotel to ask when the room would be ready. The staff were punctual and reliable, as I was able to check in exactly at the time they advised the room would be available.

I recently stayed at Quality Hotel Westmeadows for the second time and once again I wasn't disappointed. The whole process was seamless, from choosing my standard of room to phoning them on my arrival at Melbourne airport and phoning for their complementary shuttle bus service I had a 10 minute wait for the nice shuttle bus driver and when you arrive at reception after a 5 minute trip you are greeted by the most friendly team. My room poolside was absolutely spotless and had everything I needed for the night. It was also very quiet despite being close to a busy road. I had buffet breakfast which had a good selection plus surprisingly good coffee from a little machine. I had a very pleasant chat with the lovely lady who runs the buffet. Just a quick 5 minute walk up the road are a few good eateries and a little further along a couple of fast food places. I really can't fault the place or the staff and confidently recommend it to anyone wanting the convenience of a place to stay close to the airport at a good price.

Geräumige, herzliche und sehr komfortabel Aufenthalt. Genau neben den berühmten 12 Apostel (10 min Fahrt) ist es sehr bequem für Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenaufgang Besuche und auch in der Nähe von so vielen anderen Ansichten auf der letzten Strecke der Great Ocean Road! Wir genossen unser Aufenthalt in dieser schönen Hausstil-Einheit, mit allen bedenklichen Einrichtungen in der Küche und den Badezimmern, Autoparkplatz direkt neben der Einheit, schöne Sitzbereich im Rücken mit einem Holzbank. Während es nur 2 von uns gab, aber wir fühlten, dass diese Einheit für Geld groß ist, da sie leicht eine große Familie von 5-7 Menschen (1 Queen Bett, 3 Bündelbetten und große Betten im Wohnzimmer) zu beherbergen. Sehr warm und willkommen und definitiv empfehlen, wenn Sie durch Port Campbell!

I stayed in Box Hill motel between 3rd of Nov'23 - 5th of Nov'23. My husband and I arrived at Box Hill motel around 12-1pm. We were so exhausted as we took turn driving from Sydney - Melbourne. We drove from Sydney past midnight. Upon calling if we would be let in early, surprisingly it is allowed. Otherwise we would have slept in the car until check-in time if the room isn't ready yet. We got room no.1 and it was very clean. I didn't use the towel as I prefer to use my own towel, my husband also use his own towel. One of the hanging towel though had a snot on it and I put that towel aside despite we didn't use it. There were 3x plates in total and one of the plate was dirty and I assumed previous guest must have used this 1 plate and didn't wash it but instead just slipped it in between the clean plate. We used 2x plates for ourselves but I washed the 3x plates myself. Great Wifi speed too as I was able to complete a little bit of work from Room no.1. My parents always taught me to appreciate and respect people's places. Upon checking out, I saw Carol and OMG, she is so kind, friendly, down to earth and helpful. She was busy rolling people's luggage to their room. I remember my father always taught me the great businessman is not the one who always wanted to be served but the one who knew how to serve others first. There's a saying about ”servant leadership”. A great leader know how it feels to be at the bottom to observe, learn and serving others as well as better appreciate the top and experience various roles to understand the duties and responsibilities of each roles. THANK YOU Box hill motel team and Carol too for allowing us to stay at your beautiful clean and tidy place. We were able to sleep very soundly, hope nobody can hear us snoring :) I highly recommend Box Hill motel, Melbourne to anyone on a trip to Melbourne.

Da es in der zweiten Etage lag, war es nachts sehr laut. In der Kneipe war es am Samstagabend sehr laut Das Inakzeptabelste ist, dass es auf der gesamten Etage nur zwei Toiletten/Toiletten gibt (zwei weitere sind noch im Bau, ich muss oft auf die Toilette). Andere Etagen oder kein heißes Wasser zum Duschen. Obwohl die Toilette fünfmal am Tag gereinigt wird, kommt es häufig vor, dass die Toilette nach dem Duschen nicht gespült wird und kein heißes Wasser vorhanden ist Der Vorteil ist aber, dass es im Obergeschoss eine Küche, einen Backofen, eine Mikrowelle usw. sowie kostenlose Teebeutel und Kaffee gibt. Der Standort ist ein paar hundert Meter entfernt und man kann mit der Bahn/Straßenbahn fahren.

It's an old place..carpets are too old and looked unclean..Unclean beneath and beside the cots..Need a good tidy up and freshness... Friendly staff.. Food area was well looked after..
