The history of the place also made a deep impression on me, and I left with greater appreciation for Russian culture and art.The staff were polite, and although there were many visitors, the space still felt calm and special. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting St. Petersburg. Whether you love history, architecture, or beautiful places, the Church of the Savior on Blood will not disappoint. I liked everything.

斯莫尔尼宫起源于18世纪叶卡捷琳娜大帝 创办女子学校而修建的修道院。其后叶卡捷琳娜二世开办了女子学校，19世纪新校舍完成后，直到俄罗斯革命前这里一直是贵族千金受教育的场所，它奠定了俄罗斯女子教育的基础。修道院中心的建筑物是由 Rastreli设计的美丽的斯莫尔尼教堂。1748年开始兴建，基本完工于1835年，耗时长久。其正面长220米，主体建筑的两翼伸出，每翼各长40米，组成宫中的主要庭院。20世纪60年代又在正门增建了8根壮丽的圆柱和7个拱形门廊，和其右侧巴洛克式建筑风格的斯莫尔尼修道院浑然一体，成功融合了巴洛克和俄罗斯的洋葱头式建筑风格。如今它主要作为举办音乐会的会场。
