Aktivitäten in Orchha

Visits to Orchha Sanctuary offer excellent opportunities to relax and enjoy the forest, the meandering, braided streams of the beautiful, pristine Betwa River, and typical wildlife of Central India's fields and forests. You may often spot a herd of Nilgai, also known as the Indian Blue Bull, the largest (and most improbable looking) antelope of the Indian subcontinent, often described as looking like a horse with the head of a cow. The large Hanuman monkeys and smaller macaque monkeys are abundantly present, along with chittal deer and a rich variety of riverine and forest birds.
