I stayed here for one night as I was transiting Cape Town with a flight the following morning. The check-in experience was pretty quick and seamless, as my booking was pre-paid. I stayed here being fully aware of the carbon-neutral moto. The hotel appeared clean and tidy. The free shuttle from the airport was trouble-free. The directions to the pick-up was simple to follow. The pick-up was on time, and it was a very short ride to the hotel - literally a matter of minutes. The room I was allocated - 233 - was spacious and clean. However, I was surprised by the bizarre layout, especially with the way the shower and bedroom is almost open plan - only a screen separate the two areas. The toilet is separated by a door, though. Other than that, I had no major issues with the room. The bed was large and comfortable, my sleep was not disturbed and it was generally a positive short stay. The shower worked fine, it took a little getting use to the water-saving feature in the sink tap. The toilet flush may have a malfunction, because it would stay stuck when pressed, and required tapping for the button to return from a pressed state. I felt safe during my stay, and was reassured by the security procedures in place when booking an Uber - drivers are asked to scan their driving licence at the gate when entering the grounds. The drive to the V&A Waterfront was about 25-30 minutes. I had a late lunch at the hotel restaurant - Nuovo. The menu was okay, but not spectacular. I visited the restaurant when it was relatively quiet with diners. However, I found staff were not particularly attentive. It took a while before someone approached me and provided a menu. The vegan burger I order was nice, even if it looked a bit dry. It was the only chargeable thing I incurred, which I put on the room (250 ZAR to pay on check-out). The breakfast is a decent buffet of hot and cold food, plus live omelette bar. There’s also pancake making facilities, automatic coffee machines and more. On check-out, to my surprise, I was informed of bills totally 600 ZAR. I explained that I only had one meal at 250 ZAR, which the reception staff accepted. However, a few days later, I received emails claiming that I had an unpaid bill for 350 ZAR, which I had to explain again in my response (I did not receive further contact after that). I think this was a case of staff incorrectly reading a room number when processing, or a guest deliberately giving the wrong room number. I caught the shuttle back to the airport after checking out, again trouble-free. All-in-all, a very good airport hotel, and one I could easily recommend to others.

Disappointing — Not the Taj Experience I Expected I stayed one night at Taj Cape Town and, having stayed, worked, and studied at other Taj properties worldwide, I left feeling that this hotel does not deliver the signature “Taj” experience. Location: Excellent — centrally located and convenient for business and sightseeing. Rooms: Very good. The guest room was well-appointed, comfortable, and met the standard I expect from a five-star property. No complaints on accommodations. Food & Beverage: Below expectations for a Taj. The breakfast buffet was serviceable but average — acceptable for a quick meal, but nothing memorable in terms of variety, presentation, or quality. The on-site Asian restaurant is extremely small (about five tables) and suffers from poor ventilation: the exhaust does not appear to function adequately, so the space quickly fills with an oily cooking smell that lingers and detracts from the dining experience. The food itself was below the quality I would expect from a Taj-branded restaurant. Service & Brand Feel: This is where the hotel most noticeably misses the mark. While staff were professional, the overall atmosphere lacked the warm, polished service and attention to detail that distinguishes other Taj properties I have experienced. It felt more like a standard city hotel operating under the Taj name rather than a hotel delivering the full Taj brand promise. Value: Concerning. The hotel charges approximately INR 2,000 per day for parking — a steep add-on that should be clearly communicated up front and factored into the overall value proposition. Summary: The location and rooms are strong points, but the average breakfast, a small and poorly ventilated Asian restaurant, and an overall absence of the characteristic Taj hospitality leave this property short of expectations. If you are seeking the classic Taj experience, this particular hotel may not meet that standard.

Schöne Aufenthalt in Pepperclub - empfohlen. Wir haben uns entschieden, einen großen Meilenstein in Südafrika zu feiern, um einige sehr spezielle Erinnerungen zu erstellen. Wir reisen von Joburg, durch Nambiti nach Durban und dann nach Kapstadt, und wir buchen den Pepperclub, um ein gepflegtes Ende unserer Reise zu haben. Die Lage ist großartig, in der Nähe von Bo Kaap, lokale Märkte und sicher zu gehen. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, darunter die Gemeindebereiche, der Fitnessbereich und natürlich die Zimmer. Die Hausaufbewahrung war jedoch mehr 4* - einfache Anfragen wie zusätzliche Wäsche mussten jagen, und die Umkehr des Zimmers geschah jeden Tag, aber war inkonsistent ( manchmal wurde das Badezimmer gereinigt und wiederbestanden, manchmal nicht). Ebenso war der Service auch durch die Rezeption/Konzern immer gut ausgestattet - Gottfrey hat uns immer enthusiastisch begrüßt, und es gab einen anderen Geschäftmanager, der sehr sorgfältig und gut verfolgt war. Aber als Godfrey nicht auf dem Schicht war, war der Empfang mehr mutiert, und das Personal auf der Rezeption war nicht genau warm und nicht immer effizient. Das Restaurantpersonal war immer sehr warm und freundlich. Das Frühstück war großartig - mit einer guten Auswahl an Buffet und einer La-Carte-Optionen wurden schnell serviert. Mittagessen Optionen waren auch gut, und der Zimmerservice war effizient. Der Spa war hervorragend mit sehr guten Massagen und Behandlungen. Der Fitnessraum ist gut, wenn auch ein wenig klein, und für Klarheit ist der Pool nicht erhitzt (aber ist schön). Wir hatten keine Chance, das private Odeon-Film zu versuchen, aber sie hatten nur ältere Filme, nicht die jüngeren, die in öffentlichen Odeon-Filmen gefunden wurden. Das Hotel konnte unsere besonderen Anfragen für frühe Eincheckung, interleading Zimmer erkennen und das Zimmer kleiden und mit Kuchen und Bubble geliefert haben, um unseren Jahrestag zu feiern - schöne Touchs. Sie werden Ihren Aufenthalt nicht bedauern, aber Sie können nicht gezwungen werden, wieder zu bleiben.

開普敦威斯汀酒店點評 地理位置堪稱滿分，地處V&A waterfront入口，步行可達眾多餐廳與景點。房間寬敞明亮，落地窗將桌灣與山脈景緻盡收眼底，天夢之床讓人一夜好眠。服務貼心周到，19樓的天際SPA與室內外雙泳池更是驚喜，無論是度假還是商旅都很適配，體驗感超棒。

Ich hatte einen erstaunlichen Aufenthalt. Ich werde sicher zurückgehen und ich würde es jedem empfehlen. Exzellente Service und erstaunliches Personal.

Mooiplaas is a stunning venue for a clean, crisp peaceful getaway.  The views overlooking the orange skyline and Ostriches doing their thing was, Oh so lovely!! The place is well managed and the staff are a friendly bunch of good old happy country folk. Nothing was ever too much. The food was delicious and fresh fruits and vegetables were delivered everyday.  The rooms are old but neat. The wooden floors give the place a vintage feel.  The old brown  wall to wall carpet was not great but the beautiful rugs thrown over it made is bearable. They have some good quality books to read and enjoy. The breakfast and dinner menu was on point👌🏾👌🏾. I loved the home baked bread 😋 😋. The breakfast box prepared before my 5am-120km ride was excellent! It was prepared excavtly As I had requestes.  I have already booked for my next trip😍😍. I loved seeing the stuff happy and enjoying their work. It’s always a good sign when staff enjoy what they do. I think I might have made a friend or two. The curio shop is interesting and the service at the Spa was… you guessed it, Oh so lovely!!☺️

Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is a league of it's own. Our driver picked us up from Cape Town and it took about 2 and a half hours to reach the gate of Sanbona From the gate to our glamping tents was another 90 mins drive into an expansive dessert - 62,000 hectares We got real lucky and saw Lionesses, Cheetah, Giraffes, Hippos, Rhinos, Baboons, Elephants etc. Our Guide Joe was absolutely fantastic and knowledgeable The glamping tents were so spacious, connecting you right back to nature with outdoor showers, jacuzzi etc Our meals were fantastic, and they can accommodate to most dietary restrictions. We ended up trying both the Springbok, Kudu, Hake, Kingklip - all local delicacies Love how South African wines were included in our full board experience allowing us to sample Bruts, Rosé and even their Pinotage We ended the evening stargazing as usual, this time being able to see both the Southern and Northern Hemispheree

Really enjoyed our stay. The room was a good size, clean, tidy and serviced daily. Staff were friendly and attended to all our needs. Lovely bar area and YU restaurant was sublime, well worth visiting.

As always, we choose Caledon Spa as our getaway for two, we enjoy the hot springs, the cool pool and of course the lovely walk around the grounds. I would like to see some upgrade to the rooms though, especially the bathroom, which hasnt changed in the 20 years we have been visiting there, The bathroom, although clean, is old and outdated with the shower and shower curtain in the bath. Another huge challenge is the fact that there is no halaal restaurant or eatery within in the grounds. One has to drive out into town to get KFC , which is not always what we want. I think Caledon Spa will be great if there was a Nandos onsite. Nandos my preference, but any other halaal eatery will be appreciated, seeing that there are many Muslims checking in at Caledon all the time. Breakfast buffet is always a highlight Still, my favorite place to go to for some R&R.
