"Wonderful staff, but the hotel is a compromise The staff here are genuinely lovely — warm, attentive, and always willing to help. That's the highlight of the stay, and it deserves real credit. But the hotel itself is a compromise. The main draw is the outdoor pool, which is excellent — and honestly, there's nothing of this quality anywhere else in the city. The problem is everything around it. The hotel sits far from the historic center, so you're dependent on taxis to get anywhere worth seeing. The views from the rooms look out onto old Soviet-era buildings with little charm, and there's a layer of dust over everything. The pool is where the real frustrations begin. It's open to non-guests for a fee, which means it's frequently overcrowded — especially on weekends, when there's often simply no space. Many of the local visitors behave with little regard for others: jumping in, shouting, treating it like a public party rather than a hotel pool. Some show up and drink heavily. During our stay there was a man who was completely, falling-down drunk — he stumbled and nearly cracked his head open several times. The staff had no idea how to handle it. They let him lie around, swim, even dance, while children of paying guests were right there in the water nearby. For a spa team, this is real unprofessionalism — there was no intervention, no sense of safety, no management of the situation at all. On top of that, Sundays are women-only days, with men not allowed in at all. I understand the intent, but if you've traveled here and paid specifically for the pool, that's a significant loss - because without the pool, the hotel is honestly rather grim and uninteresting. In short: the people who work here are kind, and the pool is the best in town. But the location, the surroundings, the overcrowding, and especially the spa staff's inability to maintain a safe, professional environment make this a place you choose despite its flaws, not because of them."

"Ich habe kein Foto vom Zimmer gemacht, da es ein einfaches Zimmer ist. Das Personal ist höflich und hilfsbereit. Sie sprechen nicht sehr gut Englisch. Die Umgebung liegt ganz in der Nähe von Sehenswürdigkeiten in Buchara wie der Arche von Buchara, dem Ismail-Museum und Chor Minor. Es ist sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Nähe zum Hotel beträgt 30 Minuten zu Fuß."

"Ich blieb für einen weiteren Tag. Das Hotel liegt in der Neustadt von Buchara, etwa 10 Minuten mit dem Taxi von der Altstadt entfernt. Das Hotelpersonal ist herzlich und aufmerksam, die Zimmer sind geräumig und komfortabel, die Einrichtungen sind vollständig und das Frühstück ist reichhaltig in der Vielfalt. Insgesamt lohnt es sich zu bleiben!"

"Insgesamt ist es in Ordnung. Das Hotel ist neu, aber der größte Nachteil sind die etwas kleinen Zimmer. Früher waren die Zimmer etwas außerhalb des Stadtzentrums größer. Abgesehen vom Doppelbett gab es aber nicht viel Platz. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein Geldautomat. Das Frühstück ist recht gut, eine Mischung aus westlichen und ukrainischen Gerichten, und die Erdbeeren sind eine nette Geste. Taxis sind leicht zu bekommen; die Altstadt ist etwa 10 Kilometer entfernt. Gegenüber befindet sich eine Bäckerei und etwa einen Kilometer entfernt ein Restaurant, sodass man Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellen kann."

"The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located, with many of Bukhara’s main attractions within walking distance. Everything is brand new, and I would highly recommend this hotel. I visit Bukhara at least twice a year, and this is by far the best hotel I have stayed at in the city so far. The hotel had only been open for about a week during my stay, so I believe some minor issues are simply because the staff are still getting used to the systems and procedures. For example, my reservation showed that the payment had already been made, but at checkout I was told that the payment had not yet appeared in their account. I had to wait for around 5–10 minutes while they checked the situation, but eventually everything was sorted out and I was able to leave without any problem. Considering how new the hotel is, I completely understand these minor issues. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely stay here again."

"Оценка: 10/10 ”Этот отель — настоящая восточная сказка! Как только открываешь дверь, попадаешь в удивительный мир восточного колорита. Отель новый, но при этом оформлен с большой любовью к традициям — каждая деталь продумана до мелочей. Номера оформлены в аутентичном восточном стиле, при этом очень удобные и комфортные. Кровать просто отличная — выспались замечательно. В отеле есть уютная зона отдыха, где можно просто полежать, расслабиться и выпить чашечку ароматного чая. А бассейн — это отдельный бонус, особенно в жару! Отдельное спасибо хозяину — невероятно гостеприимный человек, показал настоящее восточное гостеприимство. Он пошёл нам навстречу и разрешил остаться в отеле на 3 часа после выезда, чтобы мы могли спокойно дождаться поезда. Бесплатно! Это дорогого стоит. Персонал тоже очень внимательный, всегда готов помочь с советами — и где вкусно поесть, и куда сходить, чтобы увидеть самое интересное. Завтрак — просто восторг! Огромный выбор: разнообразные восточные сладости, орехи и сухофрукты, халва, блинчики, свежие фрукты, каши, йогурт, творог — каждый найдет что-то по душе. Особенно поразило внимание: завтрак с огромным выбором восточных сладостей, фруктов и домашней выпечки. Хозяин и его команда — душевные люди , показали нам что такое восточное гостеприимство. Всем советуем этот отель. А мы когда уходили даже монетку бросили чтобы вернуться."

"Der Fußweg vom Mercure Hotel zu den wichtigsten Aussichtspunkten dauert etwa fünfzehn Minuten. Das Frühstück im Hotel schmeckt gut und die Kaffeeauswahl ist gut. Die Gestaltung des Innenhofs sowie die Tür- und Fenstergestaltung unterscheiden sich von gewöhnlichen Hotels. Sie sind recht einzigartig und komfortabel. Die Hoteltoilette ist sehr komfortabel zu benutzen und die Utensilien sind einfach zu benutzen. Der Hotelpool ist sehr schön und das Fitnessstudio ist relativ einfach, bietet aber Smiths-Training und Hanteln. Der Gesamtaufenthalt war großartig."
