"Zweifellos die Gastfreundschaft von Discovery Samal. Ich war in vielen Ländern und Resorthotels, aber nur Discovery Samal übertrifft meine Erwartungen. Jeder einzelne Mitarbeiter begrüßt Sie mit einem herzlichen Lächeln und bemüht sich nach besten Kräften, Sie zu bedienen. Vielen Dank an alle Mitarbeiter von Discovery Samal. Das Essen war köstlich, insbesondere das Buffet, und ihr Steak verdient 5 Sterne. Der Strand ist auch ziemlich cool mit bläulich-grünem Wasser, wir haben auch springende Fischschwärme gesehen. Eine Übernachtung ist nicht genug, da das gesamte Resort so riesig ist. Wir werden also bald wiederkommen. Und das Beste für mich ist die Happy Hour. Ich habe meine blauen Margaritas genossen und ich liebe die Live-Band in der Hari-Bar."

"It was an amazing stay in Dusit Thani. Their breakfast have good variety everyday. If you request for bacon they will make one for you. The staff are very accomodating and i like how they greet the guests all the time. The spa is amazing very relaxing and the gym is clean and open 24/7. Pool is nice. We got the nice view from the 5th floor. Everyone is super mabait and amazing from the guards to reception, to staff and housekeeping. Will recommend this hotel to my friends who will visit Davao"

"Our stay at Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation in Davao was truly a memorable family experience and exactly what you would expect from a high-end 5-star resort. From the moment we arrived, everything felt seamless and well thought out for both adults and kids. The resort itself is stunning, with beautiful swimming pools, pristine beachfront, and a wide range of water and land activities that kept the whole family entertained throughout our stay. Dining was a highlight. Every meal was consistently excellent, and having an onsite Starbucks was a great bonus for those quick coffee breaks in between activities. Breakfast each morning was especially impressive — a fantastic spread with high quality options that set the tone for the day. What truly made the experience stand out, however, was the team. Special thanks to Joshua and Clarise — with Clarise showing excellent management in complicated situations — as well as Dominic and Ralphe, for their outstanding service and genuine hospitality. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was smooth, enjoyable, and complete. This is a place that delivers on both luxury and warmth — perfect for families looking for a relaxing yet engaging getaway. We will definitely be back in September."

"We had a really great experience at Pearl Farm Beach Resort. The service was excellent, and the transportation arrangement was smooth and well-organized. I definitely felt like I got what I paid for. The staff and crew were very accommodating, polite, and attentive throughout our stay. Whenever we needed something, they responded right away. I also appreciated how friendly everyone was, some of the crew even helped take our pictures, which made the experience more memorable. The food was also delicious, and we truly enjoyed it. I’m giving 4 stars for cleanliness because I noticed there was a bird’s nest in the Samal House we stayed in, and there were times when bird droppings were present in the area. I hope this can be improved for future guests. Overall, it was still a wonderful and relaxing stay, and kudos to the whole team for their hospitality and excellent customer service."

"Paradise Island Park & Beach Resort never disappoints. The cleanliness is superb, the rooms smell fresh, and the aircon works perfectly which really matters on a beach trip where the humidity is no joke. The food is genuinely good, and the waiters deserve credit for always checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. This place holds a special place in my heart, it’s been my childhood beach, where families and relationships have grown for the past three decades. Overall, 10/10 experience EVERY TIME."

"It could have been a beautiful and relaxing stay if the resort had been properly maintained and kept clean. Unfortunately, there were quite a few flies around the room, which became annoying, and the smell of the room was not very inviting. The water from the faucet was also brownish in color and had a salty taste, which was quite disappointing. Nevertheless, I truly commend the courteous, friendly, and attentive staff who did their best to make us comfortable despite these concerns. The resort itself is beautiful and has so much potential. The craftsmanship of the furniture and fixtures is quite exceptional and clearly reflects quality and attention to detail. However, it seems that the resort’s cleanliness and maintenance have been overlooked. With the price we paid—which is even higher than some 5-star hotels—I honestly feel that the experience was not worth the cost. It is a beautiful resort, and with proper maintenance, cleanliness, and attention to the overall guest experience, it could truly live up to its worth."

We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help.  We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests.  One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe. Many guests appreciated this balance of accessibility and tranquility.  That said, no stay is perfect, and a few aspects could be improved. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects.  Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. "Fragen Sie nach Nancy! Sie wird Ihnen hier die beste Zeit machen! Dieses Hotel überstieg alle meine Erwartungen. Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und schön mit modernen Möbeln dekoriert. Das Bett war unglaublich komfortabel und ich hatte eine ruhige Nacht Schlaf. Das Hotel-Restaurant servierte leckere Lebensmittel und das Personal war immer freundlich und untergebracht. Die Lage war perfekt, mit einfachem Zugang zum öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel und nahegelegenen Attraktionen. Ich würde dieses Hotel sicher wieder aufhalten und es anderen sehr empfehlen.
