⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exzellenter Aufenthalt – ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Vom ersten Moment meiner Ankunft an fühlte ich mich vom Personal herzlich willkommen. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos und effizient, und ich wurde mit einem freundlichen Lächeln und erfrischenden Getränken begrüßt. Mein Zimmer war makellos sauber, wunderschön eingerichtet und bot eine atemberaubende Aussicht – jedes Detail war durchdacht und auf Komfort und Entspannung ausgerichtet. Die Annehmlichkeiten des Hotels übertrafen meine Erwartungen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war hervorragend und bot eine große Auswahl an frischen, schmackhaften Speisen für jeden Geschmack. Das Reinigungsteam sorgte während meines gesamten Aufenthalts für ein perfektes Ambiente. Ich genoss auch die ruhige Atmosphäre und die exzellente WLAN-Verbindung, die das Hotel ideal für Freizeit und Arbeit machten. Was dieses Hotel wirklich auszeichnet, ist die außergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft. Jedes Teammitglied tat alles, um mir einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen – von Empfehlungen für lokale Sehenswürdigkeiten bis hin zur Unterstützung bei der Organisation von Transportmitteln. Insgesamt vereint dieses Hotel Luxus, Komfort und herzliche Gastfreundschaft auf bestmögliche Weise. Ich kann es jedem, der die Gegend besucht, wärmstens empfehlen und freue mich schon sehr auf meine nächste Reise!

The room made a decent first impression and did the bare minimum. But, it quickly became clear that it’s best suited for a very short stay. The bed was comfortable enough. Overall, the room is fine if you’re just passing through, but anything longer starts to feel like stretching it. Staff presence around the hotel was limited. They clearly run on a lean operation, which can go either way. The guard in front of the elevator stood out in the best possible way and added a genuinely warm, human touch, which helped balance things out. At check-in, I was given two complimentary cocktail coupons for the upstairs bar, which immediately lifted my spirits. This was a place I had enjoyed many times before and often recommended to friends and family. I had good memories of the atmosphere, the food, and the general vibe, so I went in with high hopes. In the past I had written raving 5-star reviews of their restaurant food and amazing service! Unfortunately, the experience that followed didn’t live up to those expectations. What should have been a simple, enjoyable night out unraveled into confusion and unwelcoming interactions. Small moments piled up, the mood shifted, and it became clear that the experience had gone off the rails. Rather than force it, my group and I decided to take our time and money elsewhere. Sometimes you read the room and move on. I returned to the hotel later that night and stayed over. Took a hot shower in the morning, loved the smell of their body wash, btw! Another brief interaction during checkout reinforced the same theme: rigid, abrupt, and lacking the kind of hospitality that makes guests feel welcome. All in all, it’s disappointing to see a place I once enjoyed and freely recommended lose its consistency and warmth. I’m no longer comfortable recommending it, and I’m not sure I would choose to return. As for the unused cocktail coupon, I still have it. Any takers?

We had a lovely short stay in Aarya. Starting off with convenience: by being transported by the vehicle arranged by the hotel from the Intl Airport at no extra cost. This was a lovely touch by the hotel as sometimes travellers may want to avoid the hassle of negotiating with taxi drivers and firms. Then being greeted by the wonderful staff at the reception with khada & a glass of refreshing drink. The check in was smooth and seamless. The hotel itself was remarkably decorated to a classic Nepali ‘Newari’ culture which was very impressive. Located in the heart of Thamel, but slightly away from the drawing music & hustle and bustle of the streets to provide a peaceful and quiet atmosphere that we certainly needed after a long flight. Our room was spacious and kitted out with all the amenities and not forgetting, wonderfully decorated again. The facilities provided in the Hotel, from the Gym to the swimming pool was again impressive considering we were in the heart of Thamel. I particularly enjoyed the view of Sundhara Dharahara and SkyWalk tower whilst running on Treadmill and going for a swim and also the view of Swayambhu whilst doing weights in the Gym. The Sora restaurant at the top floor provided us a majestic view of the city whilst dining both during dinner and breakfast. The glass floor at the dining area was also something unique at the hotel which we have not seen in Nepal. Food was of the highest quality, and we were thoroughly satisfied with dinner and particularly the wide range of options available on the breakfast buffet, from nepali classics such as Sel Roti and Puri to modern cuisine such as Masala Omelette and Sausage & Bacon. Truly a stay to remember and we have already recommended it to our friends and family and will definitely come back to stay here again!! Die Hotelflächen sind schön und der Service sowie das Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Die Zimmer sind jedoch sehr alt und klein (nachdem wir dies mit der Rezeption verändert haben konnten). Die Lage ist in Thamel und das Eingehen in die Nähe Attraktionen ist bequem

酒店服務非常專業，早餐豐富，前台服務熱情周到。説要水，很快就送來了。而且酒店裡面有電吹風，洗澡熱水非常舒適。 很多中國人到其他地方找中餐吃，結果發現最正宗的中餐在酒店樓上九層。而且這裏的巧克力布朗尼，非常正宗。原本應該是和冰淇淋一起吃，我提出來要吃熱的，酒店立即做了熱呼呼的冰激凌。酒店旁邊有個加德滿都最大的農貿市場，6個大蘋果，衹要不到20元人民幣。這裏什麼蔬菜水果都能買到。 因為加德滿都經常堵車，如果銜接航班，酒店離機場很近，這又是一大優勢。

Ich blieb insgesamt fünf Nächte. Ich war von der Reise zu müde, um das Hotel zu wechseln, aber das Hotel war voller Enttäuschungen. Ich kaufte in der Lobby einen Kuchen, der drei- bis fünfmal teurer war als die frischen Kuchen draußen. Ich wusste nicht, wie lange er schon da war, als ich ihn aß. Ich schätze, es war mindestens eine Woche. Nach Rücksprache mit dem Restaurant scheiterte ich. Nach einer erneuten Kontaktaufnahme durch Ctrip entschuldigte man sich und zahlte den Schaden. Das Personal hielt mich wegen eines Fehlers an der Tür zum Frühstück auf. Nach nochmaliger Überprüfung kam nicht einmal eine Entschuldigung. Nach dem Auschecken aß ich im Restaurant und bestellte die Pasta, die ich zuvor bestellt hatte, aber sie roch nach Spülwasser oder Lappen. Das einzig Positive ist der Service des Personals. Kathmandu und das Hotel insgesamt sind nicht zufriedenstellend.

Da der Flug spät am Morgen ankam, waren die jungen Leute an der Rezeption sehr enthusiastisch und boten einen guten Service. Obwohl die Hoteleinrichtungen nicht sehr neu sind, ist die Umgebung sehr komfortabel und hat einen anderen exotischen Stil. Nach zwei Tagen Aufenthalt war das Frühstück in Ordnung, aber das Mädchen, das für das Frühstück zuständig war, begrüßte die Europäer und Amerikaner nur und reichte ihnen Kaffee, drückte aber ein Auge zu und ignorierte mich.

Nice Old Hotel, Great Staff with few needs to improve. Swimming pool is totally disappointment. Better to shut down, than keep running and not swimmable, waist of energy. The water is dirty, no star at all. The lobby, the room and Ghurka bar are still great. 2 power shutdowns in 1 day, I believe they are struggling with power shortages due to dark lounges. Breakfast was so so, coffee or tea should be not a challenge to serve first, sometimes took half of meal before they come. Many Tables are not stable and aligned, egg can easily roll over to other side. Atleast 3 tables on my experience. Room is comfortable, nice bed and always fresh linen. Only noisy from AC , maintenance team came twice on my room to fix, though transfer was offered on my last 2 days. Managers should not standing in buffet line, either they should help the line staffs or directing the team, talking business in public is not of our guests concern. Front desk Trainee, has good presence, I thought first he is manager. A lot can be improved and polished, the hotel has a great potential, nice design, great facilities and great staffs. I wish that management should look all themselves and review those small details.

Ein schönes Hotel, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Zentrum von Thamel entfernt. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Der Fitnessraum ist klein, bietet aber einen schönen Blick über Kathmandu. Das Hotel ist erstaunlich ruhig, wenn man bedenkt, wie laut die Umgebung ist. Ich kann dieses Hotel empfehlen.

This hotel is inside the country park so you have to hire a car to go in and out. So you need to stock up with snacks and sweets before coming in. So, the only option you have is to take their package to the activities. I see tourists inside this hotel but mostly on tour, having their own packages. As travellers not bound by any travel agency, our choice is limited to: Jeep safari + canoeing. you can have the Tuala tribe dance and bbq snacks if you add more. Before signing up, I thought I could have more like jungle walk, ride on the elephant into the jungle, etc… outside the hotel is the country park so you can hear the animals at night which is good. But since there are trees, you quite can’t see the river from the balcony so it is not like you sit in the balcony and you can see the river and animals right outside. This hotel is first class for the cleanliness and the room. But for travellers, probably staying outside the country park has more options. My bf and I did not take their buffet lunch or dinner (which cost 2500rs / person) but insisted on a-la-cart. The food is not bad. And there are many waiters and waitresses to serve you.
