We stayed at Ipoh Bali Hotel for 4 days and 3 nights for our honeymoon, and we’re truly so grateful we chose a local honeymoon instead of flying overseas. This place made our trip feel peaceful, romantic, and memorable. From the moment we checked in, Raidah was incredibly warm, helpful, and friendly and she even checked us out at the end of our stay. Her hospitality really made us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout the trip. All the staff we met during our stay were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Every time we walked past, we were greeted with smiles, which made the atmosphere feel so warm and comfortable. We also had massages during our stay, and the masseuses were amazing. The service honestly felt like a 5-star experience, professional, relaxing, and exactly what we needed after the wedding. A special mention to the breakfast team as well, especially May, who was so kind and attentive. The food was excellent. We loved it so much that we ordered the same dishes twice during our stay, the Balinese chicken porridge and the Balinese rice set (can’t remember the exact name, but it was so good!). The room itself was spacious with beautiful high ceilings, giving such a cozy Bali-inspired atmosphere. One of our favourite parts was the sound of flowing water from the balcony at night It was incredibly calming and helped us sleep so well. The bathroom was also very spacious and came with a lovely bathtub, which made the whole honeymoon experience even more special. Honestly, the hotel felt like a 5-star resort experience to us, so we were surprised to find out it’s officially rated 3 stars. The service, atmosphere, and overall experience exceeded our expectations. Overall, this was the perfect honeymoon stay for us, and we will definitely come back again in the future.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing. The hotel and the surrounding are stunning, the staff is super friendly and the facilities could not have been better. Upon our arrival, our rental car had a flat tyre and the staff was so helpful and fixed this for us immediately. As travellers from Europe this is an excellent service which is so helpful when you do not speak the local language to communicate with for instance the people at the garage. Additionally, we received a free upgrade of our hotel room from the lake villa to the garden villa, for two nights in a row. This villa with private pool and garden is stunning. All the caves and the surrounding facilities are so impressive and nature and luxury blends together perfectly. This is a must visit.

We had a great 3 days 2 nights stay at Sunway Lost World Hotel 🤍 The room was super spacious and felt quite new, which made the stay really comfortable. The hallway is a bit older, but it didn’t affect our overall experience. Loved the small details in the room too, the plugs come with USB charging ports. Hospitality from all the staff was excellent, everyone was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We also got free 2-night night park and hot spring tickets, plus 35% off day park tickets, which was such a good deal. Breakfast was so-so, but okay lah. Nothing fancy, but still decent enough to start the day. Honestly, at least 2 days are needed to properly enjoy everything because one day can be quite tiring. We also highly recommend adding the RM25 Malayan Express Lane. It really helps save time and lets you enjoy more rides (both water and dry attractions). Overall, a very enjoyable and value-for-money stay. Would definitely recommend 👍

The breakfast was nice, with a good variety of vegetables for the salad. The Singapore-style bihun goreng was so yummy! However, the rice for the nasi lemak tasted a little bit unusual. My kids really enjoyed the cereal, bihun goreng, bread with jam, and the pastries. Plus, near the hotel, there were plenty of restaurant and kiosk options around the Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah area. At night, you can rent bicycles, buggies, and other vehicles to ride around the roundabout—it was so much fun! There was even a small train, which the kids absolutely loved. In the morning, after our wonderful breakfast, my kids and I went back to the roundabout for a brisk walk and spent some time at the playground. It was really enjoyable and a great way to start the day. I would also like to send my appreciation to Trip.com customer service. The staff responded to my issue promptly and truly tried their best to resolve it. I’m very happy and grateful for the support from Trip.com. Keep up the great service!

Wir haben zwei Nächte im Hotel verbracht, und im Großen und Ganzen war es in Ordnung. Wenn Sie jedoch den Spa-Bereich nutzen möchten, kann ich ihn absolut nicht empfehlen. Das Wasser im Spa war extrem heiß, und es gab nur einen kleinen Bereich mit eiskaltem Wasser… und die Massage war die schlechteste Fußmassage, die ich je hatte. Dasselbe gilt für meinen Partner, der eine Ganzkörpermassage bekam. Die Masseurin massierte ihn mit Handschuhen, die sich seltsam anfühlten, und gab sich dabei trotzdem große Mühe!

Wenn Sie Entspannung, Luxus und Komfort suchen, ist das IWH Sunway Onsen Apartment genau das Richtige für Sie. Hier sind die Gründe, warum ich so begeistert bin: • Das private Onsen: Das absolute Highlight! Ein privater Whirlpool direkt auf dem Balkon ist ein Erlebnis, für das man normalerweise hohe Hotelpreise zahlt. Im natürlichen Thermalwasser zu baden und dabei die majestätischen Kalksteinhügel zu bewundern, war unglaublich erholsam. Die perfekte Art, abzuschalten. • Die Aussicht: Morgens mit Blick auf das Grün und die nebelverhangenen Hügel aufzuwachen, ist atemberaubend. Es fühlt sich an wie ein Rückzugsort fernab der Stadt und ist dennoch so gut erreichbar. • Das Apartment: Die von IWH verwaltete Wohnung war makellos sauber, modern und wunderschön eingerichtet. Die Betten waren so bequem wie im Hotel (ich habe wie ein Baby geschlafen!), und die Ausstattung – vom Highspeed-WLAN bis zur Küchenzeile – sorgte für ein luxuriöses Wohlfühlambiente. • Lage: Die Unterkunft befindet sich praktisch direkt neben dem Freizeitpark Sunway Lost World of Tambun. Das ist unglaublich praktisch, wenn Sie den Park besuchen. Außerdem gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants und einen Supermarkt in der Nähe. • Service: Das IWH-Team war fantastisch. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos, die Anweisungen waren klar und meine Fragen wurden umgehend beantwortet. Ich kann diese Unterkunft Paaren, die einen romantischen Kurzurlaub planen, oder Familien, die einen unterhaltsamen und entspannten Urlaub verbringen möchten, wärmstens empfehlen. In der Nähe der Stadt und Hochzeitsplatz. Zuverlässigstes Ort und umfangreiches Parken. Empfohlen für neue Leute, die in die Stadt kommen.

Ich übernachte jetzt zum dritten Mal in diesem Resort. Das Belum Rainforest Resort zeichnet sich durch seine außergewöhnliche Natur, umgeben von Wasser und wunderschönem Grün, aus. Es gibt jedoch auch viele Enttäuschungen. Zum Beispiel: 1. Das Zimmer war nicht so sauber wie in einem normalen Resort. 2. Das Badezimmer war ebenfalls veraltet. 3. Kein Fernseher. 4. Kein WLAN, obwohl ein Passwort angegeben wurde. Absolut kein Zugang. Ich empfehle dem Management dringend, die Leitung des Geländes einem neuen Manager zu überlassen. Ich schätze, die meisten haben für diesen Luxus bezahlt und genießen die wunderschöne Natur bei Aktivitäten wie Wandern und Bootfahren. Leider verfällt dieses Resort schnell, obwohl einige Annehmlichkeiten neu installiert wurden, wie zum Beispiel das neue Restaurant mit Seeblick. Ich würde wiederkommen, da dies der einzige Ort ist, an dem man in der Nähe des riesigen Sees übernachten kann.
