Das Zimmer war sehr schön und gross. Das Abendbuffet war sehr gross und hatte reichlich Auswahl. Das Essen war super. Nur war die Nacht katastrophal. Ich musste bei der Rezeption 3 mal anrufen weil um 1 uhr Nachts eine grosse Party mit Geschrei und Musik am laufen war. Die Rezeption hat ganzezeit gesagt das sie was sagen aber es lief bis 1:30. Katastophe ich habe sehr viel Geld für die Junior Suite bezahlt und hatte wenig Schlaf.

We booked a room with a view and it certainly delivered. We had a spacious balcony and could see so much, happily have sat outside for hours and luckily even the sunrise was watchable. Service was really good and staff were extremely helpful. Room was very spacious, bath was amazing and also came with the view. Other facilities we made the most of included the infinity pool, which again came with the view. It was difficult getting to the hotel but that’s what you expect when it’s on a mountain. We would stay again!

The Kanchana Restaurant offers an extensive buffet with a variety of Sri Lankan and international dishes, all while providing panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Throughout our stay, the staff consistently demonstrated attentiveness and professionalism, ensuring that every aspect of our visit was comfortable and memorable. Heritance Kandalama is more than just a hotel; it's an experience that celebrates the harmony between luxury and nature.

Room is spacious, have all amenities and toiletries (just missing the slippers). It have heater instead of air conditioner as there is mostly cold here. Centralized control system is a plus. Washroom is comparatively much smaller and just the basic size. Cons: The main thing was the management which was poor and mostly looked after only locals as we came to know by our driver. At check in the room key didn't worked 3 time and they have to call some technical guy to resolve the issue which was actually the issue in room door, still they gave us the same room. When we go to food court for breakfast in morning, it was only 4 set items only which also they decide they want to give or not. For every request it was a no even when we are willing to pay extra for the same. For the meal we had we asked extra sambhar they deny they can't give. We asked for sandwich or any breads which was also unavailable. But after sometime, they give sandwich to some other persons. When we confronted them, they told it is in different meal, we asked to give only sandwich they outright denied, when we said give meal they say come after 11. After complaining and telling at the reception his response was mostly defending and at last only told you can discuss with senior manager. It was our time to leave the city as per our itinerary so we left the place as it is.

Es war die beste Entscheidung, in diesem Hotel zu übernachten – es war eines der besten unserer zweiwöchigen Sri-Lanka-Reise. Die Natur rund um den Pool ist atemberaubend. Schöne Häuser und ein überraschend gutes Abendbuffet für nur 15 Dollar. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls gut. Der Spa-Bereich ist auch gut, allerdings wurde nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass das Öl eine recht aggressive Farbe enthält, die meinen weißen Rock und mein weißes Hemd gelb verfärbt hat (ich kann sie immer noch nicht waschen).

Sehr zufrieden mit einem Aufenthaltserlebnis. Das Hotel ist überraschend, es ist ein englischer Gebäude. Die beiden Zimmer, die wir reservieren, sind im zweiten Stock. Zuerst ist ein Wohnzimmer, das Schlafzimmer ist groß und ist sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ist sehr groß. Es gibt ein gutes Restaurant in der Nähe des Hotels. Wir haben das schönste Abendessen nach Sri Lanka gegessen. Der Service ist auch großartig. Ich hoffe, das nächste Mal haben wir die Chance, wieder zu bleiben.

Das Hotel in Sri Lanka ist generell billiger und die meisten Einrichtungen der berühmten Erbserie-Serie sind alt. Im Vergleich dazu ist die Goldene Krone relativ neu und die Einrichtungen sind auch komplett. Die Lage ist gut, die Hallendekoration ist sehr charakteristisch. Während des Aufenthalts am Lieblingstag, hat man auch eine rote Luftballon im Bett, sehr warm.

Schönes angenehme Hotel entfernt vom Hustle und Bustule der Kandy Stadt, nur weit genug, aber nicht zu weit. Sauber, angenehme und wie erwartet für ein Top-Level-Hotel. Ich kann nicht über etwas Besonderes beschweren, noch kann ich glaube, dass besonders herausgekommen.
