Eine sehr zufriedenstellende Erfahrung! ! ! ! Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und enthusiastisch. Sie hat die Heizung für uns eingeschaltet, bevor wir im B&B ankamen. Sie war immer bereit, alle unsere Fragen während unserer zwei Tage im Hotel zu beantworten. Sie ist sehr gesprächig und rücksichtsvoll! ! ! Als ich ankam, bekam ich ein kleines Geschenk für den Aufenthalt dort. Es war eine Überraschung! Das B&B bietet einen Abholservice. Sie müssen sich keine Gedanken über die Entfernung vom Hochgeschwindigkeitsbahnhof zum B&B machen. Sie werden direkt vor der Tür des B&B abgesetzt und müssen nur ein paar Schritte gehen, um dorthin zu gelangen. Das ist sehr praktisch, auch wenn Sie viel Gepäck haben. Da das B&B weit abseits der Hauptstraße liegt, ist die Unterkunftsumgebung sehr ruhig und Sie werden nachts nicht gestört. Die Lage ist sehr gut und nicht abgelegen. Zur Hauptstraße sind es zu Fuß etwa zwei bis drei Minuten, was sehr praktisch ist. Ich habe vergessen, Fotos vom Inneren des Zimmers zu machen, aber es war wirklich groß, schön, sauber und ordentlich. Draußen waren Felder und ich konnte vom Fenster aus ein Terrassenfeld sehen. Es war sehr komfortabel und die Aussicht war wirklich schön! ! ! Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und man kann sich hier rundum wohlfühlen. Warmes Wasser steht 24 Stunden am Tag zur Verfügung und der Wasserdruck ist ausreichend. Man muss sich keine Sorgen machen, dass einem nachts beim Duschen das Wasser ausgeht. Das Zimmer ist beheizt und auf dem Bett liegt eine Heizdecke, sodass Sie keine Angst haben müssen, in der Kälte zu schlafen. Ich nutze die smarte Toilette und die smarten Haushaltsgeräte und bin sehr zufrieden. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen und werde es beim nächsten Mal wieder wählen! ! !

We arrived in Xijiang and were immediately met with such a kind surprise—they upgraded our room for my birthday, which truly set the tone for our entire stay. We were on the third floor with the most wonderful view, looking out over their little water feature and the village beyond. Our balcony, complete with a tea set and two chairs, quickly became one of our favorite spots. Sitting there, especially in the evening, felt magical—like we were nestled among the stars overlooking the town. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the viewing platform and easily accessible down into the main village. Arriving was also incredibly smooth. As first-time visitors to China, we were quite nervous navigating trains and logistics as English speakers, but the hotel staff stepped in early with clear, thoughtful guidance. From the very beginning, they were attentive, responsive, and genuinely kind. When we arrived at the North Gate after taking the shuttle into the scenic area, a staff member met us and carried both of our bags up the hill and stairs to the accommodation. This was such a thoughtful gesture—especially because the terrain can be challenging. (For future travelers: if possible, avoid bringing heavy suitcases—but if you do, you’ll be very well taken care of here.) Check-in was seamless, and our room was extremely comfortable with all the amenities we needed. They provided water, soft robes, and made communication very easy via WeChat. Breakfast was also a highlight—we opted for the Chinese breakfast, which was light, healthy, and a perfect way to start the day before exploring all the incredible street food in town. We especially loved the communal living space—a cozy café-style area with a balcony overlooking the village. It was such a peaceful place to sit, have tea, and take in the views both during the day and under the night sky. They also had everything you could need: a coffee maker, dishes, mugs, and even fresh spring water, which was a lovely touch. The warmth of the people here truly made the experience unforgettable. The housekeeping staff were so kind, and the younger staff members were incredibly helpful and attentive. It really felt like being welcomed into a home rather than just staying at a hotel. And the little cats around the property made it even more special. On our departure day, we were running late for the last bus, and one of the younger staff members carried my very heavy bag down the hill and practically ran with it to make sure we made it on time. He stayed with us until we were safely on board. That level of care and service is something we will never forget. We would return in a heartbeat. Thank you, thank you, thank you again to the family and the entire staff for your kindness and for taking such wonderful care of us. You made our short stay in Xijiang an absolute pleasure and a weekend we will remember forever.

Wow! This place is absolutely awesome. We could’ve stayed here for a week or two. It's so peaceful and the surroundings are so beautiful; mountains, rivers, very peaceful. The rooms are large and super comfortable. Beds are comfy, although somewhat hard, but that's typical for asia. There's a mini fridge in the room, but no safe. We were there at the end of march and didn’t need the A/C. The room had everything you needed and was very cozy. We had a view of the river. We slept with this sliding door ajar and heard the river all night, which was really nice. No smart TV, but again, that's typical for china. The bathroom is large and well laid out. The shower had good pressure and consistent temperature. Every detail in this hotel has been well thought out and executed. As with every hotel bathroom, it could use more hooks! There was shampoo, conditioner, body wash, but no lotion (which is typical for asia). Breakfast is good with fruit, many chinese options, an egg making station, toast, tea, coffee, and juice. Staff are very nice here. The hotel is just steps to the fanjing mountain entry area. Go over the bridge, and to your right is where you enter the park (for the shuttle bus, that takes you to the cable car). Even if you prebuy your tickets on wechat, you still have to go to the ticket office and show your passport to get your physical paper ticket. Yes, you actually need a physical paper ticket! ☹ Make sure you go to the right booth! The first ticket booth that you come across is only a ticket information counter. Keep walking past all the entry gates, and locate the large main tourist center. That's where you line up, show your wechat purchase, and get your physical ticket. You can also buy tickets here. You then go back to where all the entry gates were, and line up again ☹ They scan the paper ticket. It's very old school for china! Once you enter, you get in line for the shuttle bus. At the end of the shuttle bus ride, you then go and line up to get your ticket for the cable car, even if you prebought this on wechat as well!!! They scan your physical ticket and then you can enter the cable car station.

A few days before my arrival, I requested contact by wechat through Trip.com which was more convenient and the inn responded quite quickly which was reassuring and I arranged pick-up from the train station. They came back with a printed image of my name on paper and asked to look out for it upon my arrival. Pick-up was pretty smooth and got to the scenic site 15 minutes later. The driver led me to the scenic area's main entrance to buy a ticket to enter. I had to physically walk in through the public entrance for my ticket to be scanned and the driver drove in separately and we met inside the village. I hopped in the car and we drove up to where the ancient village was in a valley. A young man waited by the entrance of the village, took my luggage and I followed him down the path of cobble stones into the village. The inn was very close to the village entrance through a narrow alleyway and then up some stone steps. The inn was opened in 2021, so everything looked new and well kept. I checked in and was shown to my room immediately well ahead of the check-in time of 14:00 which I was so grateful for. The room and bathroom were adequate. Breakfast could be improved. However, the inn provides afternoon tea between 14:00 and 16:00 which is eaten on the terrace on the top floor with magnificent views of the village below. The staff at the inn are so lovely and helpful. They even recommended places to eat and also a local guide. I tried both and wasn't disappointed. The inn also arranged drop-off at the station. Both pick-up and drop-off at the station were free of charge which was an added bonus. I stayed here for one night and was quite happy. It was a perfect start to my high-speed rail odyssey across the southern part of China. I highly recommend this inn due to the location of it inside the ancient village, the views from the terrace and the very helpful staff.

Das Fenster ist die Berglandschaft, der erste Stock hat eine kostenlose rote Schale. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass Sie ohne Verkehrsmittel in den Verkehr gehen können und Auto fahren können.

Die Erfahrung war fantastisch! Ich habe schon in vielen internationalen Hotelketten übernachtet, aber dies war mein erstes Mal in einem Sofitel und es war die beste Erfahrung, die ich je in einem internationalen Hotel gemacht habe. Obwohl ich kein Mitglied bin, wurde ich mit großem Respekt und sehr fürsorglich behandelt. Zunächst einmal ist die Lage des Sofitel absolut top! Es liegt direkt neben dem Jiaxiu-Turm und einer Imbissmeile, und eine Taxifahrt zum Flughafen ist auch schnell. Für Ausflüge, Einkäufe und Essenssuche ist es äußerst praktisch. Ich möchte besonders unsere Guest Relations Managerin Janice loben! Ihr Service war herzlich und freundlich, und sie reagierte immer umgehend auf unsere Anliegen. Wir wurden in diesen Tagen wunderbar betreut, der Service war detailliert und aufmerksam. Ich bin sogar der Meinung, dass Janice die Marke Sofitel bereichert hat, sie ist ein direktes Beispiel für den Markenreiz von Sofitel. Als dreiköpfige Familie wurden wir bestens versorgt, meine über 50-jährigen Eltern waren glücklich und zufrieden. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel, und das Zimmer mit einem Schlafzimmer, einem Wohnzimmer und Blick war sehr schön. Die Aussicht vom französischen Fenster war großartig! Das Frühstück wurde im 57. Stock serviert, war reichhaltig und schmeckte sehr gut, und die Aussicht von der hohen Etage war ebenfalls fantastisch. Insgesamt war es eine Erfahrung mit 120 von 100 Punkten!

Thanks to Trip.com for this wonderful hotel. All of us (4 pax) LOVED this hotel. Very strategically located amongst food centers, shops and local activities. Views from this hotel is fantastic...accentuated by the river and lights at night. Again, our stays exceeded the HIGH 5 Star ratings.... Ms Chen, Manager of the hotel is EXTREMELY helpful and resourceful in giving valuable suggestions thus making our stay, a delightful vacation. Well done, Ms Chen, an original Miao native and her efficient team, Ms Wu and others. Wonderful staff, including housekeeping... Definitely, will recommend to visit Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village and staying at Xijiang Story Resort Hotel is a Super Plus advantage. Das neue Hotel ist so schön zum Wohnen! Als ich das Zimmer buchte, sah ich, dass es 2019 eröffnet wurde. Als ich dann tatsächlich im Laden ankam und den Verkäufer fragte, war Ihr Hotel nach so vielen Jahren noch recht neu. Der Angestellte sagte, dass es erst dieses Jahr modernisiert und renoviert wurde. Ist der Chef so zurückhaltend? Haha, die neue Renovierung ist auf der Plattform nicht angegeben, das ist wirklich die größte Überraschung beim Einzug! Alle öffentlichen Bereiche und Zimmer sind makellos, viele Möbel und Gegenstände sind sehr neu und eine Überraschung ist, dass das Zimmer tatsächlich größer ist, als es auf den Fotos aussieht. Die öffentlichen Bereiche sind wunderschön, die Raumaufteilung ist ebenfalls exquisit und die Ausstattung ist sehr hochwertig, darunter Kapselkaffeemaschinen, Dyson-Haartrockner, intelligente Toiletten und intelligente Bettvorhänge. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle enthusiastisch und höflich und es ist eine tolle Erfahrung!
