It was carefully designed to have minimal impact on the beautiful natural setting and take full advantage of the stunning panoramic views over the Islands and Bays of the North Shore. Far away from any other houses the only sounds you hear are the waves on the rocks far below.... The original house was severely damaged by category 5 hurricane Irma in September 2017 but has now been completely rebuilt to an even higher standard than before. We took the opportunity to make some major improvements and upgrades creating new spaces and featuring all new high end appliances, equipment and furnishings. The result is an aesthetic and highly individual dwelling that delightfully complements the spectacular location. The house is simple, comfortable and very well equipped with accommodation consisting of one bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen / living room together with a large covered veranda, a brick courtyard and wooden decks around an infinity edge pool and hot-tub area.The bedroom has an elegant and very comfortable king size bed with stylish antique furniture and polished wooden floors. There is also a quiet A/C unit in the bedroom if you prefer to close the doors at night. Adjacent is a bathroom with a Turkish marble sink and a unique, private indoor/outdoor shower area. Fine quality towels and linens are provided. The kitchen / main room is equipped with a professional Viking stove, stainless steel fridge with ice and water dispenser, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, toaster and everything else you might need. There is also new AC installed or you can simply open all the glass doors and let the breezes flow through. Just along the coast to the East are two stunning, white sand and very out of the way beaches - Trunk Bay and Rogues Bay, that you can often enjoy just to yourself. Kerensa is centrally situated to explore the island. Roadtown (the capital) is 15 minutes over the hill on the South Shore. Access from the public road is along a short unpaved track (a 4WD vehicle is advisable), once inside Kerensa' s remote-controlled electronic gate the driveway is fully paved.
