On this special day, I chose to check in at Shanker hotel. The warm service,delicious food and quality environment,everything is so good. The hotel prepares decorations and cake very thoughtfully, surprised us. Due to the late arrival time, the hotel also thoughtfully provided me with dinner order so that could enjoy it when we arrived. Finally the food upexpectedly delicious. I recommend you to choose Shanker hotel. Wherever it’s a vacation or celebration it is best choice.

Such a nice view and friendly staff! I really enjoyed every moment at the hotel. The location is perfect — it’s right next to the national park, and I could actually see the river from the balcony. It’s also on the main street, so it’s easy to get anywhere. The room was in perfect condition and very clean. The air conditioner worked really well. The staff were all so friendly and kind.

We had a lovely short stay in Aarya. Starting off with convenience: by being transported by the vehicle arranged by the hotel from the Intl Airport at no extra cost. This was a lovely touch by the hotel as sometimes travellers may want to avoid the hassle of negotiating with taxi drivers and firms. Then being greeted by the wonderful staff at the reception with khada & a glass of refreshing drink. The check in was smooth and seamless. The hotel itself was remarkably decorated to a classic Nepali ‘Newari’ culture which was very impressive. Located in the heart of Thamel, but slightly away from the drawing music & hustle and bustle of the streets to provide a peaceful and quiet atmosphere that we certainly needed after a long flight. Our room was spacious and kitted out with all the amenities and not forgetting, wonderfully decorated again. The facilities provided in the Hotel, from the Gym to the swimming pool was again impressive considering we were in the heart of Thamel. I particularly enjoyed the view of Sundhara Dharahara and SkyWalk tower whilst running on Treadmill and going for a swim and also the view of Swayambhu whilst doing weights in the Gym. The Sora restaurant at the top floor provided us a majestic view of the city whilst dining both during dinner and breakfast. The glass floor at the dining area was also something unique at the hotel which we have not seen in Nepal. Food was of the highest quality, and we were thoroughly satisfied with dinner and particularly the wide range of options available on the breakfast buffet, from nepali classics such as Sel Roti and Puri to modern cuisine such as Masala Omelette and Sausage & Bacon. Truly a stay to remember and we have already recommended it to our friends and family and will definitely come back to stay here again!! Thank you to all the staff at the hotel for their warmth hospitality & comfort during our stay.

My friend and I arrived on 2 January and I had caught a bad cold and my friends back went out.  We layed in bed 2 days and the staff was exceptionally wonderful in taking care of us.  Words cannot express our gratitude for the hospitality, clean hotel, super comfortable beds and warm fluffy comforters.  We came as guests and were treated like family!  Thanks to everyone!  Location is perfect as well.  Thanks again for a great stay and memory!

Location is not very far from the international Airport though the entrance point was bit constricted but when you reach the property, its heaven altogether. Loved the ambience, the staff were so helpful, the rooms were neat and clean and the food was awesome ( for which I have to go to Kathmandu again). Overall a great and unforgettable stay with my friends.

Das Hotel Barahi Kathmandu liegt in einer großartigen Lage, nur wenige Gehminuten von tollen Souvenirläden in Thamal und Sehenswürdigkeiten wie dem Garten der Träume und dem ehemaligen Königspalast entfernt. Das Hotelpersonal war überaus freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel verfügt über einen Pool im 7. Stock mit herrlichem Blick auf Kathmandu. Einziger Nachteil: Der Pool ist vom Restaurant umgeben, sodass dort niemand schwimmt. Ich hatte eine Suite. Das Zimmer war wunderschön, und ich war mit der Sauberkeit und dem Zimmerservice sehr zufrieden. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Das Zimmer grenzte direkt an den Servicebereich des Personals, das dort sehr fleißig arbeitete. Leider war es die ganze Nacht und den ganzen Morgen über laut und klappernd.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exzellenter Aufenthalt – ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Vom ersten Moment meiner Ankunft an fühlte ich mich vom Personal herzlich willkommen. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos und effizient, und ich wurde mit einem freundlichen Lächeln und erfrischenden Getränken begrüßt. Mein Zimmer war makellos sauber, wunderschön eingerichtet und bot eine atemberaubende Aussicht – jedes Detail war durchdacht und auf Komfort und Entspannung ausgerichtet. Die Annehmlichkeiten des Hotels übertrafen meine Erwartungen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war hervorragend und bot eine große Auswahl an frischen, schmackhaften Speisen für jeden Geschmack. Das Reinigungsteam sorgte während meines gesamten Aufenthalts für ein perfektes Ambiente. Ich genoss auch die ruhige Atmosphäre und die exzellente WLAN-Verbindung, die das Hotel ideal für Freizeit und Arbeit machten. Was dieses Hotel wirklich auszeichnet, ist die außergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft. Jedes Teammitglied tat alles, um mir einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen – von Empfehlungen für lokale Sehenswürdigkeiten bis hin zur Unterstützung bei der Organisation von Transportmitteln. Insgesamt vereint dieses Hotel Luxus, Komfort und herzliche Gastfreundschaft auf bestmögliche Weise. Ich kann es jedem, der die Gegend besucht, wärmstens empfehlen und freue mich schon sehr auf meine nächste Reise!

Mi estancia en el hotel Mulberry en Katmandú fue en general muy agradable, pero tengo una queja importante que me gustaría mencionar. Cuando seleccionamos el hotel, se indicaba que el traslado al aeropuerto era gratuito, lo cual fue una de las razones por las que decidimos hospedarnos allí. Sin embargo, a pesar de haber comunicado nuestra intención de utilizar este servicio tanto al hacer la reserva como tres días antes de nuestra llegada, nos informaron que había un cargo adicional para el traslado. Afortunadamente, pudimos solucionar el problema a través de la página web donde hicimos la reserva, pero me preocupa que esta información aún esté disponible en su sitio. Si el hotel sigue anunciando el traslado al aeropuerto como gratuito, o lo cambian o están engañando a los clientes, lo cual no es aceptable. Además, para añadir un toque gracioso a la situación: cuando nos marchamos del hotel y tomamos un taxi, ¡resultó que el precio era realmente la mitad de lo que habíamos pagado por el servicio del hotel! Así que si decides irte en taxi, ¡puedes ahorrar unos buenos dólares! Por otro lado, las instalaciones del hotel son buenas y las habitaciones están bien. El desayuno fue excelente, con una variedad de opciones al estilo occidental e indio. La piscina en la azotea tiene un gran potencial con hermosas vistas de la ciudad, aunque necesita más atención y cuidado debido al polvo en la zona. En resumen, recomendaría el hotel Mulberry por su buena ubicación y desayuno, pero sugiero que aclaren mejor la información sobre los traslados al aeropuerto para evitar confusiones futuras. ¡Y no duden en tomar un taxi al aeropuerto para ahorrar unos billetes!”

If you're staying in Kathmandu, this hotel is a good choice. The best thing about it is that it's a new hotel (opening in 2024). Everyone, including the staff, spa staff, and breakfast staff, is very cooperative. Also, everything is well-maintained, including the showers and toilets in the rooms, Wi-Fi, electronic key cards, and internet TV. I'm sorry to say that other hotels tend to be a little older, with broken, slightly dirty, or non-working electronic devices. While it's true that older hotels have gardens and great locations, they can't compare to newer facilities. The breakfast had a nice view, too. 私は海外在住の日本人です。お子様連れの方には静かで落ち着いてるこのホテルを薦めます。もちろん一人旅も。

Fünf-Sterne-Hotel in der Nähe der Stadt kulturellen Landschaften und gute Lage für Ausflüge aus der Stadt. Es kommt mit westlichem schönem Essen und asiatischen Restaurant, die beide erstaunlich sind.
