Top-Wahrzeichen im Stadtzentrum von Yangon, hervorragende Lage, direkt neben dem Einkaufszentrum Junction City und dem Bogyoke Aung San Markt, und die Sule-Pagode ist fußläufig erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und modern, mit raumhohen Fenstern, die einen Blick auf die Stadt und die Shwedagon-Pagode bieten. Der Infinity-Pool bietet eine atemberaubende Aussicht, und es gibt auch ein Spa, einen Fitnessbereich und Restaurants. Der Service ist professionell und aufmerksam, das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, sowohl für Geschäftsreisen als auch für Urlaube geeignet.

Insgesamt war es okay, aber ich möchte kurz auf die Mängel hinweisen. 1. Es ist wirklich heruntergekommen. Das Zimmer kostet 100.000 Won pro Nacht und hat keine Badewanne. 2. Es gibt keinen kostenlosen Wäscheservice. Das Zimmer kostet ebenfalls 100.000 Won pro Nacht. 3. Was soll das mit dem Kimchi aus dem Supermarkt? Bringt doch bitte guten Kimchi mit! Das hier ist schlechter als eine billige Fälschung. Ehrlich gesagt, während meines Aufenthalts hier konnte ich nicht erkennen, was ein 5-Sterne-Hotel ausmacht. Es ist wie ein 2-Sterne-Hotel in Korea.

I had a very good stay at Melia Yangon. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The lobby is big and beautiful, creating a great first impression. My room was very clean with a nice view, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The breakfast was tasty with many good options to choose from. The staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yangon.

Hotel Room are nice and clean, however the elevator smells like someone was smoking. I booked for 2 person, however, during breakfast, I was approached to be inform that my companion is not registered and not entitled for the breakfast, eventually, front desk settled the issue.

Room was clean and decent. The hotel has good views overlooking the Inya Lake. Breakfast place may be very crowded and slow service during peak hours

Das ist eines der besten Hotels, die ich jemals gehabt habe. Es ist früher als Rosewood Yangon bekannt und wurde nun für 8 Monate wiedergeöffnet. Alles ist hervorragend, sehr freundlich, geduldig und hilfsbereites Personal, außergewöhnliche Service. Die Geschichte des Hotels geht zurück bis 1927, so dass es absolut ein historisches Gebäude ist. Die Dekoration ist sehr exquisit, das Frühstück ist schmecklich und es gibt viele Möglichkeiten. Die Lage ist auch gut und sicher, sehr nahe Sule Plaza, General Post Office und British Embassy. Auf der Terrasse können Sie die River view sehen. Ich möchte insbesondere meinen Dank an Vanessa und Swar ausdrücken, sie haben mir eine Menge detaillierte Informationen gegeben, damit ich mehr über dieses Hotel, diese Stadt und dieses Land wissen kann. Warning: Major language barriers and smoking issues at this new hotel While this is a newly built hotel, I was shocked by the lack of English proficiency at a 5-star establishment in Yangon. The front desk staff spoke only Mandarin and Burnmese. Ironically, the IT technician was the only person who understood a bit of English, which was the only redeeming factor regarding communication. Key issues for international travelers: Language Barrier: Do not expect to use English with the reception; it is primarily a Mandarin-speaking environment. Smoking Regulation: Despite ”No Smoking” signs in the lobby lounge, guests were smoking openly on the coffee tables. I also encountered guests smoking in the hallways and elevator lobbies on the guest floors. It felt as though I was in China rather than Myanmar. Dining: The breakfast buffet is strictly Chinese-style. There were no Burmese food or drink options available at all. Room Condition: My room had a persistent smell of smoke and was full of mosquitoes. This is likely because housekeeping leaves the doors wide open during cleaning.
