What a truly amazing stay a Masseria Della Piana! I can’t put into words what a special experience it was to stay at this beautiful Masseria!! Staff - the staff would go above and beyond for you, there was nothing they wouldn’t do for you. All incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming, with even the owner bringing us a traditional Puglian breakfast one morning! Every single staff member we interacted with was so kind and welcoming, special shout out to Seydou and Andre (we didn’t get everyone’s name, but I would be calling them out if we had!) and to all the cute doggos and kitties on site!! The grounds/rooms - a truly truly beautiful location. The main pool is a great size, the area in general is very peaceful and tranquil, makes for a perfect pool day! The rooms are quant and perfect for what we needed, more than enough space for three girls with lots of clothes, bags, shoes and make up! They were kept very clean by the staff, good aircon, refilled water in the fridge. Our room even had a private plunge pool which was very cute and perfect for a slow morning. Food - the breakfast selection is great, with homemade focaccia, croissants, cakes, as well as the usual things (bread, cereal etc). The Masseria also hosted a cooking class/dinner on our last night, almost all of the guests attended and we sat at a long table together, there was pizza, calzones and lots of wine! This was a very special experience and so glad we did it. If you want an intimate family run experience in the beautiful Italian countryside, this really is the place for you. I honestly cannot believe anyone would give this place anything but a 5, I would give it a 10 if I could! Thank you Masseria Della Piana for making our holiday so special ❤️

The hotel is good overall, clean spacious family room with lots of storage space and a balcony with clothes airer that’s handy for us to dry our swimsuits, good enough for family of 4. Bathroom and water pressure was alright but definitely need a little update. We were booked in for full board, food options was ok with fresh local produce, it could be better if the hotel can provide more varieties with meat, seafood and salad bar options. One and a half hour buffet meal time was a bit tight and rush when the restaurant gets busy specially for families with children. Food could run out pretty quickly and staff were keen to wrap up and stop replenishing at the last 20 mins. We have to praise the kids club massively as they cater for all ages with wide range of activities, very friendly and caring young group leaders full of positive energy, they encourage children to participate and make friends with each other, we can see they put lots of effort to keep kids entertained all day long. Our daughters had the best time at the resort and earned some great friendships from this stay. One last thing I would like to mention is, reception staff was quite cold and reluctant when we asked for late check out. We understand that every hotel are different with their policy, but it would be better if we were notified and made clear we need 48 hours notice if we would possibly request a late checkout upon arrival. Ich hatte einen wirklich angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Bei meiner Ankunft erhielt ich ein kostenloses Upgrade auf ein Superior-Zimmer: geräumig, sauber und mit einem äußerst bequemen Bett. Das Frühstück war ein weiteres Highlight: reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich, sowohl süß als auch herzhaft, wobei das allgegenwärtige Pasticciotto Leccese den Morgen zu etwas ganz Besonderem machte. Das Personal war stets freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend und kümmerte sich um alle meine Wünsche.

Das Hotelfrühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und die Essumgebung ist auch sehr gut. Für Geschäftsreisen geeignet, Preis erscheint ok. Der Ort ist klein und um neun Uhr noch sehr voll. Wir fanden eine andere Möglichkeit, unseren Aufenthalt zu verlängern und bekamen ein Zimmer für uns. Der Kundenservice an der Rezeption war sehr verantwortungsbewusst und gewissenhaft.

das Hotel entspricht den Standards von Hilton, die beiden Zimmer waren sehr sauber und geräumig. Der Pool auf dem Dach ist gross und schöne Aussicht über die Dächer von Lecce, bis zum Meer. Leider mussten wir über 80€ zusätzlich zahlen, da anscheinend bei der Buchung (von 2 Zimmer) nur eine Person angegeben wurde 🤓, soll ich die Zimmer selber belegen ? so hat uns die Übernachtung einiges mehr gekostet als wenn wir direkt bei Hilton gebucht hätten und da wäre das Frühstück inklusive gewesen, so hat es nochmals 50€ gekostet.

Reception bit unorganized, we were waiting for room more than 1 hour (check-in 5:00 pm, we called in advance around 4.15 pm if possible to check-in earlier, no problem, but than waiting more than 1 hour because they were cleaning the room). They had this calling service once room ready, for us they didn't have even papers ready (needed to search, so more time wasted), wifi was not stable at the room (lack of proper coverage for our part of the area of the resort), breakfast not bad, but seems to me like stuck in 1998 when it come to food choices. Room was clean, but bath could be renovated a bit, there was no minibar and there was cigarette left in the candle glass on the balcony, parking was good, location also good.

Die Lage ist direkt am Wasserkant, mit den perfekten Tagesbetten, um den Ozean vorne zu genießen. Das Zimmer ist sehr großzügig in Größe, obwohl wir laufende Probleme mit der Klimaanlage hatten und es kann eine Aussie-Sache sein - aber keine Eisen und nur die Möglichkeit, 24 Stunden für “Wasch” zu warten, wenn Sie etwas gedrängt brauchen, wie es als “Gesundheitsproblem” zu haben ein im Zimmer. (Nicht ideal, wenn Sie aus einer Tasche leben.) Das Hotel ist stolz auf das „grüne“ sein, aber es fühlte sich einfach so, als wäre es eine Entschuldigung, die Ecken auf dem zu schneiden, was sie anbieten. Die Fahrräder auf dem Angebot - sie waren mehr wie von einem Trift Shop geholt - aber arbeiteten für einen Morgen, um etwas weiter um die Ecke zu reisen. Seien Sie sicher, die verrückten Sonnenuntergang zu genießen!

Das Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe des Bahnhofs. Man kann bequem mit dem Zug zum Hotel und zum nächsten Ziel fahren. In der Nähe gibt es keinen Supermarkt, daher ist es schwierig, Zahnpasta und Zahnbürste zu kaufen, da diese vom Hotel nicht bereitgestellt werden. Nur ein Dönerladen befindet sich in der Nähe des Hotels, und wenn man keinen Döner mag, muss man ein ganzes Stück laufen, um etwas zu essen zu finden.

Definitely a highlight of our 2 week Puglia family (of 4) trip. Regret we only stayed there for 2 nights - could have been longer so after 11 days of road trip we could just stay there and chill. We had all our meals at the hotel which were excellent (be it poolside or the bar). Breakfast (buffet+a la carte) was beautiful with a wide range of choices. We also went Go-Karting nearby which was another wonderful experience for our children. The hotel was simply beautiful and elegant. Its private beach club was also a huge bonus!!!

We loved the way they kept the authentic farm style masseria across the property. The sunset was spectacular around the pool and restaurants in the evening. We had two spacious deluxe suites, one with 2 stories and the other across one huge ground floor. They were styled like authentic farm workers lodges with the designer touches. The service was outstanding, and every single staff member helped with a smile. We loved our daily escapes to the amazing cliffs and beaches just down the road. Thank you.
