Disappointing Room Size  The hotel room I received didn’t match the specifications promised during booking. Advertised as a 26 sqm King-sized space, the room I walked into was significantly smaller (around 20 sqm) —cramped and difficult to navigate, with barely any space for luggage or comfortable movement. Initially, the service agent insisted all rooms were the same size and claimed I’d been upgraded to a Queen-sized room. They also told me no alternative rooms were available due to full booking. After nearly an hour of late-night discussion with the on-duty manager—around 11pm—I was finally offered a room that was noticeably more spacious and aligned with my expectations. This experience highlights the importance of honest and accurate descriptions in hotel listings. I hope future guests won’t have to deal with the same confusion and inconvenience.

I had an amazing stay at De Vere Cotswold Water Park. The hotel went above and beyond by decorating the room beautifully and providing thoughtful gifts for our anniversary, making the experience truly special. The serene location with stunning views of the lake added to the charm. The excellent facilities, including the indoor pool, spa services, jacuzzi, steam room, gym, bar, and restaurant, made the stay incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. Every aspect of the experience was thoughtfully designed for comfort and luxury. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat.

Die Umgebung ist unbesiegbar. Auf dem Golfplatz sind alle Richtungen üppig, große Gras- und Waldflächen, und die Dekoration ist elegant. Frühstück und Abendessen sind gut, der Preis ist angemessen und der Service ist gut. Es ist ein wenig vom Zentrum von Cotswolds entfernt, aber es ist leicht, mit hoher Geschwindigkeit nach Bath zu gelangen. Das Schlimme ist, dass die Zimmer, insbesondere die Badezimmer, zu klein sind, es keinen Aufzug gibt, das Treppenhaus sehr eng ist, es unpraktisch ist, großes Gepäck mitzubringen, und dieses Hotel erlaubt Haustiere. 1. Die Lage des Hotels ist besonders gut. In der Mitte von Chiping Kamden gibt es neben ihm einen öffentlichen Parkplatz und es ist sehr bequem, den Parkplatz zu parken. Aber während der Navigation muss man die Adresse beachten. Der Name eines anderen Hotels im Bereich ist der gleiche. 2. Am Tag, an dem ich ankam, informierte das Hotel vorläufig über ein Problem in meinem Zimmer, so dass ich mich in ein anderes, höheres Hotel außerhalb des Hauses wechselte, die Umgebung und die Einrichtungen waren wirklich besser.

Der Hotelservice war gut und die Mitarbeiter hilfsbereit! Aus unbekannten Gründen wurde meine Buchung von Trip.com jedoch auf ticket.com umgebucht, was zu einer doppelten Belastung führte. Letztendlich halfen die Mitarbeiter, das Problem zu lösen.

It was a good hotel, a bit basic, rooms (in the hall part of the hotel) need updating; not sure of the others. The restaurant good. The breakfast was good but a bit busy on one of the days. The hotel facilities need attention. TV remote not working, the team couldn’t get it fixed easily; not ideal.

Lovely stay. Complimentary upgraded and breakfast as I am a Platinum Elite Marriott Bonvoy. Spacious room. Great Christmas deco. Staff at check in was very helpful and attentive. He welcome me as an elite member. Breakfast was ok, not excellent. Not much spread. Overall, a great stay for work.

Great location. A very nice spa. The hotel room is unfortunately quite old, the shower was cold, the bed was uncomfortable and the walls are very thin making it hard to sleep.
