I love this place so much that a part of me wants to gatekeep this hidden gem. Fanzhu梵住 is a beautifully curated boutique hotel that delivers outstanding hospitality. I initially booked a 5-day stay but loved it so much that I extended for an extra day, willingly sacrificing my next destination. I was initially worried the hotel might be a ”pretty façade.” Fortunately, Fanzhu met all my needs of functionality and comfort (Breakfast, Air Conditioning, an excellent shower, free self-service laundry, an ideal location). The property is far from perfection, but it overcompensates with simple, heartfelt sincerity. You can feel the tremendous thought and effort poured into this place to make guests feel comfortable. ✨ Highlights, Who Will Love This Place: ✅#English-Speaking Travellers: For foreigners unfamiliar with China, it is extremely helpful that the owner is fluent in English. ✅#Design & Aesthetics: Warm & modern. The property exudes zen-like comfort with charming decors. It has a gorgeous yard, with swimming pool, and ample outdoor seatings. ✅#Remote workers: I didn’t plan to work on this trip, but I could see myself working there remotely. If you come from the city where every building looks like a boxy Lego piece, you will deeply appreciate this place. ✅#Personalized Service: Kudos to the young lady boss! In a place like Wanfenglin where the location pins and 导航 can be vague to foreigners, sh took the time to understand my itinerary, how I planned my routes around Wanfenglin. She gave recommendations, and helped me check my “Destination” input on car hiring app. Airport and railway station pickups can also be arranged easily too. ✅#Immaculate Rooms: THE BED! Oh my, the bed! The linens, pillows, and towels are all premium quality. Even the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash feel luxurious. The bed is so comfortable that I would return just for a sleep-in holiday. Ok I know I’m mentioning the bed twice but it’s worth mentioning thrice. Extra points from me that the rooms are non-smoking. ✅#Location: Before arriving, I read a review describing this place as ”a piece of tranquillity close to the action”. Now I get it. It sits as an independent building on a peaceful road/hill(?), yet it is a short, easy walk to the Bagua fields and Zhong Nahui, where you can find idyllic cafes, little shops, and children playing in the fields. ✅#Breakfast: Delicious local-flavoured noodles!They also offer more conservative standards like toasts, eggs, and coffee. Oh, the hotel has an ice machine! Ooooohh so sexy in the hot weather (apparently ice cubes are rare in Wanfenglin). ✅#The Resident Pets: As a pet lover who willingly pays to visit cat cafes, having resident dog and cats sealed the deal for me. ✅#BONUS TIP: The Rooftop Night Sky. Unassuming and rugged at first glance, I was initially unimpressed. But I heard good reviews from others, so I gave it another go, and am thankful I did! Stay awhile, allow your eyes some time to adjust in the darkness, and you would see the sky completely transforms. On my last night, I saw a shooting star! I kid you not. It was an absolutely unbelievable, unforgettable moment. Incredibly awesome! ⚠️ Considerations Before You Book (Who should avoid): - If you love standard chain hotels. Fanzhu is intimate enough to offer personalized service. But I can imagine some of my more pampered friends who prefer international breakfast buffet spread would struggle to settle for this simplicity. Some things are just not realistic expectations off a boutique. - Mobility needs: There is no elevator. They would graciously carry your suitcases. However, elderly may want to enquire about ground-floor room. - In the midst of nature: If you have zero tolerance for insects, you may want to skip staying in Wanfenglin. It is a humid, lush environment surrounded by fields and trees. Personally, with a body spray of insect repellent, I wasn't bothered at all. - Pet allergies: If you hate pets (but why would you? :( w

Ferienurlaub um das Wochenende, das Hotel ist im Landschaftsgebiet, der Personenverkehr ist nicht groß und ist für ruhige Menschen geeignet. Die Hoteleinrichtungen, die Umgebung und der Service sind sehr gut. Die Lage im Wald ist hoch, der Sauerstoffgehalt ist hoch und die Tiefe des Schlafs wurde 3 Stunden 🤣 getestet

Die wenigen Tage im Pullman Guiyang Hotel waren der angenehmste Teil meiner Reise. Die stets lächelnde Dame an der Rezeption vertrieb das Gefühl der Enge, als ich zum ersten Mal in einer fremden Stadt ankam. Die Lage des Hotels ist noch überraschender. Der Bahnhof des Hochgeschwindigkeitszugs liegt gleich um die Ecke, und der Flughafen ist nur 20 Autominuten entfernt. Das Hotel ist sehr rücksichtsvoll gegenüber Reisenden, die ihr Gepäck schleppen müssen. Noch besser ist, dass es in der Umgebung viele Sehenswürdigkeiten gibt: Schlendern Sie abends zum Qingyun-Markt und probieren Sie beim Feuerwerk Guizhou-Sauersuppe, Fisch und Seidenpuppen. Wenn Sie den Jiaxiu-Turm bei Nacht besichtigen möchten, erreichen Sie ihn mit dem Taxi in zehn Minuten. Für einen Mitternachtssnack warten geröstete Hirnblüten und Eisgelee auf der Erqi Road Snack Street. Am Wochenende können Sie zum Qianling-Berg fahren, um Affen zu füttern, und die Altstadt von Qingyan besuchen, um Zhuangyuan-Schweinehufe zu essen. Die Fahrt dauert ebenfalls nur eine halbe Stunde. Bequemer Transport und freundlicher Service machen jede Reise einfach und komfortabel! ! ! ! !

Das Hotel besticht durch sein stilvolles Äußeres. Die Zimmer sind modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit edlen Textilien und einer insgesamt natürlichen Wabi-Sabi-Ästhetik. Bad und Dusche sind hochwertig ausgestattet, mit einem kräftigen und komfortablen Duschkopf. Im Zimmer gibt es eine große Auswahl an Getränken und Snacks, alles unbegrenzt, inklusive Wein. Besonders gefallen hat mir der dezente Duft, der mir beim Öffnen der Tür entgegenströmte; das Hotel legt großen Wert auf Sauberkeit. Da wir mit dem Auto unterwegs waren, stellte uns das Hotel am Abreisetag freundlicherweise Eier, Brot und Milch zur Verfügung. Während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts wurde alles getan, um unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Es war ein fantastischer Aufenthalt, und ich würde dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen.

Location undeniable convenient. Main entrance from hotel turn right less than 5 minutes to jiaxu pavilion. Turn right walk down straight for around 5 to 8minutes to reach Qingyun market .lots of food areas/shops around but mainly their local specialties.Sour fish soup,noodles ,stir fries etc. The hotel has been around for around 20 years or so.Tge decor looks similar to offerings from the late 80s to 90s. Service is very good as evident of the Sheraton lineage.However the dated feel and horrendous central air conditioning puts it a notch down. With offerings nearby that has upped tge game these past years.The management should look seriously in some areas such as decor and added lighting features specially in the rooms .(lights at lower section of bed to light up pathway at night). Breakfast was well stocked and timing was especially good.up till 10.30am. The best feature this Hotel has is the staff.Improve a bit more especially on the air conditioning and I believe market share loss will improve. Overall it's a relatively good stay.

Dieses Hotel in Zhijin County, Bijie, gilt als gehoben, elegant und stilvoll. Die Lobby ist besonders luxuriös und geräumig. Die Menüs im chinesischen Restaurant bieten ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, sind erschwinglich und schmecken gut. Die Zimmer sind gut geschnitten und recht geräumig; der einzige kleine Nachteil ist die eingeschränkte Privatsphäre im Badezimmer. Die Rezeption hat mir sogar kostenlos ein Upgrade auf ein Zimmer mit großem Balkon und herrlicher Aussicht gegeben. Das gesamte Hotelambiente ist exzellent und die Luft außergewöhnlich frisch; insgesamt ein sehr positives Erlebnis.

Das Hotel liegt in einem Dorf mit atemberaubender Landschaft. Morgens beim Erwachen wirkt die nebelverhangene Atmosphäre fast traumhaft. Das Essen im Restaurant ist köstlich, der Service der Kellnerinnen exzellent, und abends wird sogar eine traditionelle Teezeremonie am Kamin angeboten. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und einladend.

Tongren war die letzte Station unserer Reise. Wir kamen um 9:00 Uhr morgens in Tongren an. Da wir so früh im Hotel ankamen, war unser Zimmer noch nicht gereinigt. Die freundliche Rezeptionistin Shu Chen, die uns beim Einchecken half, ließ uns erst einmal frühstücken und kümmerte sich anschließend umgehend um die Zimmerreinigung. Dank der vier Stunden früheren Ankunft konnten wir uns ausruhen und hatten genügend Energie für unsere Erkundungstour in Tongren. Sauberkeit, Service und Essen im Hotel waren sehr zufriedenstellend, und die Verkehrsanbindung war optimal. Einziger Wermutstropfen auf unserer Reise durch Guizhou war die Begegnung mit einem Fahrdienstfahrer, der uns in der Altstadt von Zhenyuan versetzte. Da wir den Zug um 8:20 Uhr nach Tongren erreichen mussten, hatten wir einen Tag im Voraus einen Fahrdienst für 6:45 Uhr zum Bahnhof Sansui gebucht. Als wir ihn jedoch am Morgen um 6:30 Uhr anriefen, schlief er noch. Bei unserem zweiten Anruf um 6:50 Uhr ging niemand ans Telefon. Dies war das einzige wirklich unangenehme Erlebnis unserer Guizhou-Reise. In Tongren trafen wir jedoch auch auf enthusiastische Fahrer von Fahrdiensten und reizende Damen aus dem staatlichen Gästehaus Tongren, was unsere Reise zu einem perfekten Abschluss machte.

Ich hatte zunächst befürchtet, das Erdgeschoss wäre feucht, aber das war nicht der Fall. Es war sehr sauber und wurde während meines zweitägigen Aufenthalts täglich gereinigt. Auch die anderen, unbesetzten Zimmer wurden sorgfältig geputzt, was ich sehr gut fand. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei, sodass das Zimmer weder feucht noch kalt war. Es liegt ganz in der Nähe des Nostalgiemarktes, der im Sommer sicher sehr lebhaft ist, aber jetzt, in der Nebensaison, ruhig ist. Die Nudeln zum Frühstück waren köstlich, aber leider musste ich am nächsten Morgen früh den Hochgeschwindigkeitszug erreichen, sodass ich kein zweites Frühstück mehr essen konnte. Obwohl es sich um eine Pension handelt, ist sie sehr gut geführt; Sauberkeit, Pflegeprodukte und Essen ließen keine Wünsche offen.

The legendary hotel for turtles!!! I'm a BJYX fan from Indonesia and I came to Duyun to visit BJYX related spots, and this hotel is of course one of them! Booked another hotel first, since I didn't know that the infamous make up room and telephone box is in this hotel. Tried to look for those places in Qin Han (lacked information, my bad), but then realized they're not there, and then after looking for some more information on Weibo, I decided to change the hotel for the last day to Maojian, and I'm glad I did that! Maojian is in front of QinHan Film City, so you can just walk there. Best hotel if you want to visit the film city. The receptionists don't speak English, we were communicating by Google Translate. They let me check in at around 12:30 even though the actual check in time is from 14:00. They also upgraded my room. Very happy! And since I read from the reviews on this platform, that you can take a look inside the room where our WangXian got interviewed, I tried to ask the receptionist about it and then she called people to guide me there. The guide lady is also super nice, that she even offered me to change the room to that room. It's already booked by other people though, unfortunately. But, it's okay! I roamed around the hotel after that, visiting the telephone box, jogging track, and make up room of course is a MUST! Thank you so much for keeping these spots for us, CQL and BJYX fans!
