Das Zimmer war sauber, aber mein Schlaf wurde durch Lastwagenhorne gestört, was wirklich ungünstig war. Ich war auch überrascht, es gab keine Badehandtücher. Es gab nur zwei kleine Handtücher und ein Gesichtshandtücher. Ich bleibe in Hotels regelmäßig für Arbeit und das ist das erste Mal, dass ich es erlebt habe.

Ich habe diesen Platz für mein Sohns Turnier reserviert. Ich habe 2 Nächte ohne Beeinträchtigung gut geblieben. Aber der Tisch und der Kühlschrank hier waren zu klein, so war es ein wenig unbehaglich, aber es war kein großes Problem. Einige andere Hotels machten laut Geräusch mit Heizgeräten und Mikrowellen, aber dieser Ort hatte eine Mikrowelle in der Lagerung, so dass ich es ruhig verwenden konnte, während mein Sohn schlief, und der Heizgeruch war nicht laut. Die Vorder- und Hausbetreiber waren im Allgemeinen freundlich und die Eismaschine funktionierte gut. Auch war es schön, einen Trinkquell auf dem Hauptboden und dem Pool zu haben.

Das Hampton Inn by Hilton Calgary Airport North war für uns ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das kostenlose Frühstück am Morgen war großartig, wir haben das warme Frühstück wirklich genossen. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr hilfsbereit und einladend und der Shuttleservice des Hotels war sehr einfach zu nutzen. Das Hotel war nicht weit vom Flughafen entfernt und wir würden wieder dort übernachten.

It was a good place but some staff weren't friendly, especially the front desk. They're good at problem-solving like giving solutions to some issues I encountered. Hope breakfast is till 11 though because the current schedule is 6:30-9:30.I will recommend it, my rate is 7/10.

Das Bett war zu hart. Die Klimaanlage setzte sich von warm bis zum Gefrierschalter, obwohl ich es auf der Heiz-Nur-Einrichtung hatte. Das Hausbetreuungsteam versuchte, ins Zimmer zu kommen und zu reinigen 45 Minuten, bevor ich auschecken wollte.
Dann wurde meine Schlüsselkarte 10 Minuten vor der Abreisezeit deaktiviert, so dass ich aus dem Frühstück zurückgekehrt war und musste nach unten zum Vordertisch gehen, um sie zu reparieren. Die erste Dame an der Rezeption sagte, sie habe meine Schlüsselkarte wieder aktiviert, so ging ich nach oben und war noch verriegelt, und der Aufzug war zu langsam und ich wollte nicht wegen der Verspätung strafrechtlich bestraft werden, Also musste ich die Treppen runtergehen (die sehr schwer zu finden waren!) dann gab mir eine zweite Dame eine neue Schlüsselkarte, um in mein Zimmer zurückzukommen, dann musste ich die Treppen wieder gehen und konnte endlich mein Gepäck holen und auschecken. Insgesamt war es eine ziemlich schlechte Erfahrung.

Good location, however in the faucet everytime you switch to hot or cold water something yellow spits out every couple seconds. There was a mini bar and we did not touch it yet still got charged for a peach water which I did not use and when I phoned once I got the bill they told me that because it was in my room I was charged regardless if it was touched by us or not. My partner and I did not drink anything from there and no one was in our room. Otherwise good location for going out in the downtown and very comfortable beds

Excellent location next to the airport and shopping mall outlet you even have Costco right in front of the hotel the service was excellent. I’ll be booking this hotel again in the near future.

Was good. Clean. My room didn't have microwave for some reason, but they had one available near common dining area to use any time. The included breakfast was okay, but smaller than other local hotel I stayed at coue times. Location is nice to have TH, A&w, Quiznos, Liquor store near by.

GGastnutzerI recently stayed at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise for three nights. While the location is undeniably beautiful and there were a few memorable moments during our stay, the overall service experience unfortunately did not meet the expectations I had for a hotel at this price point.
When we arrived on the first day, check-in felt somewhat rushed. The young female staff member assisting us (an Australian staff member) informed us that our room was not ready yet, which we understood as we had arrived a little early. However, she did not walk us through the hotel facilities, available activities, or provide much orientation to the property. Since the hotel is quite large, a quick overview would have been helpful for first-time guests.
We had a spa booking at the nearby Fairmont Spa at the Basin, and because our room wasn’t ready, we were advised that we would need to change there. That was a bit inconvenient as we had been hoping to freshen up in our room before heading to the spa.
We were given our room key cards anyway, but when we went upstairs to try accessing the room, the key cards didn’t work. We had to come back down to reception again to have a new set of cards issued, which added further inconvenience.
Later that evening, I called to request fresh milk for tea. Eventually, milk was delivered later, which I appreciated.
On the second day, housekeeping was another area where things fell short. By around 1:00 pm our room still hadn’t been serviced, so I called to request housekeeping. When we returned at around 5:00 pm, the room appeared to be only partially cleaned. Glasses and mugs were still dirty, and the tea bags and coffee pods had not been refilled. I had to call again to ask for the room to be properly tidied up.
We also stopped by the outdoor bar one evening and ordered hot alcoholic drinks. Unfortunately, it arrived only lukewarm. It appeared to have been pre-made and the staff simply poured it from a thermos rather than preparing it fresh. Considering it cost around $25, it didn’t feel particularly worth the price.
On the third night of our stay, the power in our room went out. As a result, we were unable to watch TV or charge any of our devices. Since the phone in the room was not working, my partner had to go to the front desk to report the issue. After waiting for nearly an hour, a technician eventually came to our room and informed us that the power would be restored soon.
Considering the price of the stay, I expected a more consistent level of service and attention to detail. Additionally, the bathroom was smaller than I anticipated for a property of this caliber. I had originally planned to stay at Fairmont properties in Quebec and Ottawa over the next two weeks, but this experience has made me reconsider.
That said, there were still some highlights during our visit. We celebrated our anniversary with dinner at Walliser Stube, which was a lovely experience overall. The steak and chicken dishes were slightly on the salty side, but the staff were attentive and kindly offered complimentary drinks to make up for it, which was a nice gesture. We were also given some honey, which was a thoughtful touch.
One of the best parts of the trip was the snowshoeing walk organized by the hotel. Our guide, Kelvin, was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience very enjoyable. It ended up being one of the highlights of our stay.
Overall, the property itself is stunning and the activities are well worth experiencing. However, given the premium price point, I was expecting a higher and more consistent standard of service throughout the stay.

GGastnutzerWe stayed at Royal Canadian Lodge in Banff from March 26–29 with my 7-year-old daughter, and overall we had a great experience.
Check-in was simple and straightforward. We arrived in the early evening, and Jason at the front desk was the most approachable and helpful hotel staff member I have ever dealt with. He remembered my daughter’s name, greeted her every day, checked in with us throughout our stay, and added little touches that made the trip feel extra special for both of us.
The renovated room itself was fairly standard for a hotel room, but comfortable. Our room had two queen beds, which worked well for us. The bathroom had a shower only, with no bathtub, but that was not an issue. The pillows were big and lumpy, all 8 of the pillows in our room were too high/tall for my daughter to use comfortably. There are robes provided in the room, it would be a nice touch if they could also provide kids size robes. We had a mini fridge, coffee maker with coffee, and kettle with tea provided in the room.
We ordered room service one night and tried the pulled pork poutine, which was the daily special from the restaurant. Unfortunately, it was not very good, and I would not recommend it.
The TV included free cable and on-demand programming, as well as pay-per-view movies. I had brought my laptop and an HDMI cord, and we were able to connect it to the TV easily to watch our own movies. Watching on-demand, my daughter discovered The Simpsons and loved it (lol)
The pool area was a big highlight for us. The pool is salt water rather than chlorine. The water itself was on the cooler side, but there was also a good-sized hot tub and a large steam room. My daughter quickly made friends with another family staying at the hotel, and the kids spent multiple hours a day in the pool together.
The gym was small but functional. In the four days we were there, it was empty every time we walked by.
Parking is $20 per day, which does add up. There is also free street parking behind the hotel if you are able to find a spot.
One fun feature in the lobby was the robot, which the kids absolutely loved. We were told that after construction is complete, it will be delivering items to guest rooms. During our stay it moved around the lobby, told jokes, and handed out free apples.
The hotel was reasonably priced compared with other options in the area. I chose it specifically for the pool setup, knowing we would be spending a lot of time there, and it worked out really well for that. Shops and restaurants on the main street were about a 10-minute walk away, or you could take the bus that stops outside the neighboring hotel for $2 per ride, with kids riding free.
I would definitely stay here again in the future. The price, location, rooms, and pool make this a very family-friendly hotel option in Banff.

My room was spacious and clean, featuring a comfortable king-sized bed that ensured a good night's sleep. The room was well-equipped with amenities, including a microwave, refrigerator, and a large flat-screen TV. I particularly appreciated the free Wi-Fi, which was reliable and fast—perfect for catching up on work and staying connected.
One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary breakfast. The buffet offered a wide variety of options, including scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh fruits, yogurt, and a selection of pastries. There was also a pancake machine, which was a fun touch! The dining area was clean and spacious, allowing me to enjoy my meal in a relaxed environment.
The hotel’s location is excellent, especially for travelers using the airport. It’s just a short drive away, and the hotel offers a shuttle service, which is very convenient. I took advantage of this service, and it was prompt and efficient, making my arrival and departure stress-free.
Additionally, I had the chance to use the fitness center during my stay. It was well-equipped with modern machines and weights, and it was nice to have that option to maintain my workout routine while traveling.
Overall, my stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Edmonton International Airport was highly satisfactory. The combination of friendly service, comfortable accommodations, and convenient amenities made it a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reliable place to stay near the airport. I look forward to staying here again during my next visit to Edmonton!

GGastnutzerNicht unser erstes Aufenthaltsverbot - aber wir haben heute ein Gefühl der Frustration verlassen!
Es begann, als das Front Desk unsere Buchung nicht gefunden konnte - zweimal ! (aber ein Telefonanruf 2 Stunden vor dem Einchecken). Er musste meine Fahrerlizenz nehmen und “ irgendwo mit jemandem im Rücken zu sprechen” gehen - dann kam er zurück (nach 2 oder so
minute) und „magisch“ die Reservierung gefunden. Unnervös für meine Identifizierung zu verschwinden von meinem Blick. Keine Erklärung angeboten.
Wir waren wieder frustriert, wenn der Büroberuf versuchte, uns für etwas von der Snackbar in unserem Zimmer zu belasten - wir hatten unsere Zimmer 2 Minuten zuvor buchstäblich verlassen. Könnte uns nicht sagen, welches Produkt wir „verbraucht“ hatten (wir hatten nichts verbraucht - vor allem zu diesen Preisen!) und dann, wenn sie gefragt, wie sie möglicherweise innerhalb von 2 Minuten wissen konnten (von uns aus unserem Zimmer) dass ein Objekt verbraucht wurde - sie wurden sehr verteidigungsfähig und konnten nicht wirklich die Frage ”wie wissen Sie, was uns zu belasten” beantworten, und die Antwort war ”es ist für den Bericht am Ende des Tages - niemand sagt, dass Sie tatsächlich etwas genommen haben”. Except that’s exactly what the desk cleark said the charge was going to be for - “an item from the snack bar for a total of $4.20”.
Nachdem wir die Gebühr angefordert hatten, wurde uns gesagt, dass keine Gebühr auf die Kreditkarte übertragen werden würde.
Es war so, als hätten wir etwas „ gestohlen“, als wir um weitere Klarstellungen zu der Anklage gebeten.
“Keine Entschuldigungen oder danke für den Aufenthalt bei uns.”
Enttäuschend.

. Ich schreibe, um die Dame auf dem Frontdesk zu beschweren. Sie behandelte mich nicht respektvoll. Wenn wir angemeldet haben, frage ich, ob wir heißen Frühling haben, sie hat mehrere was beantwortet? Und korrigieren Sie mich “heiße Tube” wie ich fehlt an Wissen.
Später möchte ich Landry Zimmer verwenden und Dollar mit ihnen wechseln. Sie gab mir mehrere zwei Dollar, und die Waschmaschinen akzeptieren nur 1 Dollar, die sie zuerst hätten wissen sollen. So ging ich zurück zum Front Desk um nochmal 1 Dollar zu fragen. Und damals. Es gibt einen Mann vor einem anderen Front-Desk Server. Und die Dame antwortete auf das Telefon. So stand ich natürlich vor ihrem Desk und wartete auf sie. Und ich bat sie, 1 Dollar für mich zu ändern, weil sie nicht wussten. Und dann fragte sie mich: “ observe u nicht, dass es eine Linie gibt? Sie sollten darauf warten.” So war ich so beschämend, dass ich in die Linie geschnitten habe.
Wenn sie also wirklich begeistert ist, mich in die Linie zu schneiden, Warum nicht sagen, ich soll nach warten? Oder nur mich in einer respektvolleren Weise daran erinnern, dass ich wirklich nicht weiß, dass es eine Linie? Jeder Weg wird die gleiche Wirkung haben und ich würde in einer nicht schämenden Weise anerkannt werden. Und wieder einmal akzeptiert die Waschmaschine nur 1 Dollar und sie wussten nicht, ist ihre Job-Derelition.
Ich bin sehr besorgt darüber, wie Ihr Service mit Ihrem hohen Gebührenniveau passt.
