I can’t say enough good things about my stay at this incredible homestay on Dongshan Island—it’s hands down one of the best accommodation experiences I’ve ever had, and I’m already counting down the days until I can come back. From the breathtaking sea views to the thoughtful, attentive service, every single detail made my trip unforgettable, and I’m so glad I chose this homestay for my island getaway. First and foremost, the seaview here is absolutely stunning, beyond anything I could have imagined. The homestay boasts an unbeatable location with unobstructed views of the endless blue sea, and I spent every spare moment just admiring the ocean, both morning and night. Waking up early to watch the soft golden sunrise glisten over the water, with gentle waves lapping against the shore, was the most peaceful way to start each day. As the sun set, the sky painted itself in warm hues of orange and pink, reflecting beautifully on the sea, creating a romantic and serene scene that took my breath away. Even at night, the quiet glow of the moon on the water and the soft sound of waves made the view just as magical. I took countless beautiful photos during my stay, and every snapshot perfectly captures the mesmerizing beauty of this place—no filter could ever do the real scenery justice. What surprised me most is that the homestay is even more beautiful in person than the online photos. When I booked the room online, the pictures looked lovely, but I didn’t expect the actual space to exceed my expectations by such a large margin. Loved this hotel super close to the beach and incredibly dog friendly. One of the reviews talked about a long uphill walk from the parking to the hotel so we were really worried, but decided to book after all because we really liked the room and the closeness to a quiet beach for my dog. On the day of check in I was contacted by the hotel to confirm that I was checking in, traveling with a dog and needed parking. I was sent a location for the parking to navigate to, which was quite easy. When I struggled with finding a parking spot, the staff came out to help me find one and assist with bringing the suitcases to the hotel, which was a very short 5 minute walk we didn’t have to worry about at all. The staff then waited for us to settle in and showed us the way to the beach. We were impressed by his English and helpful attitude. The room was beautiful with amazing views and the access to the beach was amazing and easy to find.

Ich reiste mit meiner Familie mit dem Auto nach Fuzhou. Auf dem Rückweg hatte ich Angst, dass es älteren Menschen und Kindern unangenehm sein würde, zu lange im Auto zu fahren, also wollte ich sie zum Spielen auf den Wuyi-Berg schicken, und dann würden sie es tun mit dem Zug nach Hause fahren. Während der beiden Regentage im Wuyi-Berg wurde jedoch der ursprüngliche Plan, zwei Nächte zu bleiben, auf eine Nacht geändert. Aufgrund des Verkehrsstaus an diesem Tag kamen wir um 15 Uhr im B&B an. Die Lage des B&B war leicht zu finden, die allgemeine Atmosphäre war sauber und ordentlich und der Besitzer war sehr freundlich, mit Willkommensfrüchten und modernisierten Zimmern. Später kamen meine Eltern nach dem Spielen gegen 17 Uhr zurück und sagten, der Chef habe sie in ein Eltern-Kind-Zimmer mit zwei Betten umgewandelt, was für das Mitbringen von Kindern sehr praktisch sei. Das B&B kann auch ein sauberes und hygienisches Catering anbieten. Man muss nicht rausgehen, um Essen zu besorgen. Auch für ältere Menschen ist es praktisch, mit dem Chef zu kommunizieren. Als ich ein Zimmer buchte, überlegte ich, ob ich ein Hotel oder ein B&B buchen sollte. Letztendlich habe ich mich für dieses B&B entschieden. Ich habe die richtige Wahl getroffen! Wenn die Kinder das nächste Mal im Urlaub sind und das Wetter gut ist, kommen wir wieder zum Wuyi Mountain und wählen dieses B&B!

I recently stayed at this homestay and had a wonderful experience. The home was very well preserved, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. We were also pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade, which made the experience even more special. One of the highlights was having tea with the owner’s parents and learning how the house had been carefully conserved and transformed into a homestay. It gave the stay a very personal and meaningful touch. I would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to come back again.

As it wasn't a busy time and we were staying for a whole week, on check they upgraded us to the Wooden Loft Family Room, which was quite nice. The room was comfortable with big windows and a nice view across the stream to the forest. It was great to have a washing machine and the washing machine had a dryer function as well so we could still dry our clothes when it was cloudy and cool. The smart toilet was a bit disappointing as the controller wasn't very responsive and the flush was very weak. The tub was nice though the water was not quite hot enough to make it comfortable. Most of all we enjoyed the courtyard area and the breakfast/restaurant area, especially the tea room. They are really well designed and organized and provide a nice space to relax and read and write. The breakfast was quite nice, they provide a serving size based on the number of people, though it was often not enough for us and we normally asked for another serving. They also brought a fruit and yogurt platter to the room in evenings which we also enjoyed. The location is convenient to walk down to the Yuchanglou Tulou in Xiabancun, though part of the way will be on the main road which can be busy with traffic. To get to other areas such as Tianluokeng and Taxiacun it is also possible to walk, though again sometimes you have to walk on the main road as there is no walking path or small side road. There is a tourist bus service that goes between the scenic spots and you can even flag them down in between though you are supposed to have purchased a transportation ticket first and that is not striaghtforward to get if you didn't get it in advance. So, most guests come with their own car or rent one. If arriving by train, while trip.com shows the Yongding and Longshan railway stations as the closest, actually the quickest and most convenient station is the one at Nanjing. Also, because the hotel is within the scenic area you do need to purchase tickets to enter, either online tickets or paper tickets at the gate.

A friend recommended this hotel to me, and I have never regretted my choice for a moment. The location is absolutely perfect — close to a famous temple, a major road interchange, two city beaches, and the university, with a stunning view from the window. The staff are friendly and always ready to help, the room is comfortable, and it has everything you need for a short getaway. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and within walking distance, you can rent a scooter, order a taxi, or take a relaxing stroll along the promenade. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Nach der Ankunft hat das Personal eine WeChat-Gruppe geschaffen und mich hinzugefügt, was sich als sehr hilfreich erwiesen hat. Durch die Gruppe haben sie mit allen Fragen unterstützt, wie zum Beispiel empfohlene Orte zu besuchen, wie ein E-Bike zu mieten und wo zu essen in der Nähe. Reaktion und Service waren ausgezeichnet. Das Zimmer war awesome sehr sauber, geräumig und komfortabel. Das Bett war besonders komfortabel, und die Aussicht war fantastisch. Ich liebe auch wirklich den Projektor-Bildschirm im Zimmer, was mir erlaubte, WeTV-Shows und andere Inhalte zu beobachten. Es machte die Entspannung im Zimmer noch behaglicher. Das Hotel bietet E-Bike-Vermietung, die eine große Funktion ist. Ich war jedoch persönlich für das Wetter untergeschirmt. Es regnete den Vortag und der ganze Tag war bewölkt mit Temperaturen von etwa 11°C. Die Meeresbrise war sehr stark und kalt, vor allem, wenn das E-Bike mit dem Wind direkt auf Sie fahren. Das Hotel braucht unter solchen Bedingungen eine richtige Winterausstattung. Wenn das Hotel Handschuhe und Jackenvermietung bieten könnte, wäre dies eine erstaunliche Verbesserung. Am Abend brachte das Personal sogar ein kleines Geschenk ins Zimmer. Das Geschenk war bedenklich und praktisch, und ich mag es wirklich es war eine warme und willkommene Geste, die den Aufenthalt zu fühlen extra besondere. Frühstück war ok. Gäste sind auf Ebene 2 sitzen und das Essen wird zum Tisch serviert. Da ich aus einem Ort komme, wo einige Chinesen kein Rindfleisch essen, wäre es großartig, wenn es Optionen wie Hühner oder Rindfleisch gab. Das sagte, die Rindfleischnudeln waren eigentlich sehr gut. Das westliche Frühstück war jedoch ziemlich durchschnittlich.
