Good -Park like setting, pet friendly, many nice pools to use. Couple villa has own little pool surrounded by plants for privacy. Air-conditioned room. Warm shower water, local drinking water provided. Eating area inside room, ref and sink. Gated entry with gate guard. Provided breakfast, portions are local but quite filling. Plenty of onsite parking (watch out for coconuts above car). Golf cart with driver available but the walk is really short and mostly flat. Toothbrush and amenities provided. Ants and bugs are typical so not an issue (bug spray recommended for foreigners). Employees welcoming and very responsive and well groomed. Room service (took for all meals). Bad -lack of food menu in room with room service offered, housekeeping called Butler but not. Provided cell phone with load, load expired initially. Updates every 6 hours to phone via text message. 80% of time housekeeping could not be reached. Menu once either found on web site or brought to door many things not available and size of portion not clear. Food cold sometimes upon delivery and or not taste very good, food service is slow. Bar soap provided is nice but small (cut down from a larger bar). A bit of a drive to anything else nearby and not much else found to do here. Ugly -Breakfast order lost on last day to check out, was placed 6PM in person at door night before. If had not called would not have been provided (since we had pet with us, opted for room service) Housekeeping light not working at front door to make up room. Ref compressor noise. Sometimes arcing / hum noise coming from electrical panel. Expectation of vacationer not in alignment with profit margin site manager is attempting to generate from each stay. You are left with a feeling of overpaying for a level of service that was lacking and this felt in relation to how the business just seems to be run. Arrival was overwhelming (good) but departure needs improvement.

Good -Met owners of BnB, Ice cream, bar and dining available on site (Italian / local food), good breakfast included. Air-conditioned room, phone and satellite tv (requires load by site). On site generator to support power blackouts. Nice garden like feel, gated and fenced. On site parking (minimal). Christmas lights set up for the season. New three-story expansion currently being built (but no impact to stay). Stocked in room mini bar. Shower water flow good. Nice on site pool (3-4 ft deep). Nice ocean views, Koi pond and sitting areas. Dogs and cats (3 ea) live on site. Bad -Food order ~3 hr in advance, prices are a bit higher than normal, breakfast night before. Some items on menu not available. Room is very small mostly bed and small area to walk around. Bathroom local size challenge for larger people (toilet to wall space). Plumbing not support flushing of TP, place in holding bin. Shower heater wall switch should be labeled. Switch is in same stack of switches as bath lights. Refrigerator and mini bar stocked. (bug spray recommended for foreigners as mosquitoes can get in the room). Located on main roadway. A short drive to other things in the area. No beach (small gravel area), surf can be strong at back of property. Kayaks appeared usable but life jackets were questionable (suggest replacing) unless experienced seemed more like yard art. Amenity kit provided (bar soap was crumbled and could not be used, shampoo was barely enough for one shower (suggest abandon and provide home made or none at all). Ugly -Local purified drinking water provided in plastic pitcher (not enough for two people per/day and no way to know where from), can ask for more but not convenient. Spouse incurred sickness from bad (other) water during stay.

Insgesamt war es eine Freude, in Vilas Buenavista zu bleiben. Der Ort ist im Allgemeinen sauber und ruhig. Sie werden wirklich eine gute Nachtruhe nach einem ganzen Tag der Reise und einer Nacht raus haben. Das Personal ist freundlich und freundlich. Nur ein paar Dinge jedoch: 1. Wir sind dankbar, dass sie ein komplimentäres Frühstück (die lecker war, MwSt), aber die meisten der Lebensmittelwahlen waren nicht verfügbar. Da es komplimentar ist und Lebensmittelartikel nicht gourmet Lebensmittel sind, können die meisten Artikel in Ihrem Kühlschrank für längere Zeit gelagert werden, wie Hotdogs, Tocino und Longanisa. Dann vielleicht mindestens mehr als 2 Optionen verfügbar. 2. Keine Option, das Zimmer mit Nahrungsmitteln zu versorgen. 3. Obwohl es ein Landline-Telefon im Zimmer gibt, gibt es keinen Anruf Ton, so dass es nutzlos ist. Wir haben unsere Mobiltelefone stattdessen verwendet, da sie die Rezeption Nummer am Rücken der Tür geschrieben. 4. Das Zimmer war sauber, mit kaltem AC, einem Arbeitskühlschrank und einem TV. Groß genug, um eine Familie von 5, oder zumindest 8. Nur dass der Geruch ein wenig merkwürdig war. Aber es ist keine große. Wichtig ist, dass sie einen großen Raum haben, in dem wir ausgeben können. 5. Sie können wirklich Ihre eigenen Transport brauchen, da es schwierig ist, von einem Punkt zu wechseln und zurück zum Hotel. Keine Nacht (keine Live-Band, etc.) so müssen Sie wirklich gehen, wenn Sie der Typ sind. Wenn Sie also einen ruhigen, privaten und sauberen Ort suchen, um zu bleiben während Sie La Union genießen, empfehle ich Ihnen sicher, Villas Buenavista zu Ihren Wahlen hinzuzufügen.

Our recent stay at Maritoni Bali Suites and Villas in Bauang, La Union, was nothing short of delightful. What stood out most was the peaceful ambiance of the place, perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The pool was well-maintained and added to the serene vibe, making it a favorite spot during our stay. On top of that, the internet connection was surprisingly strong, which was a huge plus for us as we needed to stay connected for work. The staff were consistently courteous and attentive, always ready with a smile to assist guests. A special shout-out goes to Irene, one of the staff members, whose proactive and kind demeanor truly made our stay memorable. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, which left a lasting impression. Overall, Maritoni Bali Suites and Villas offers excellent value for money, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in La Union.

Es war ein altes Haus, das sich zu einem Hotel entwickelt. Es war so entspannend coz gibt es viele Pflanzen, Bäume und Meerblick. Sie ermöglichen uns, die Mikrowelle und andere Werkzeuge zu nutzen. Das Bett war so weich und der Raum war groß.

2st Mal in Monarch. Noch ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer braucht noch ein wenig Wartung, Ich sah ein Loch neben der Sockel im Badezimmer. Andererseits ist der Service noch groß. Das Frühstück während unserer ersten Zeit hatte bessere Auswahl, aber vielleicht ist es, weil es ein Wochenende im Vergleich zu unserem Wochenende war. Der Pool und der Hof ist ein schönes.

Decided to try Chalaroste despite the comments wherein the bathroom stinks, daming langaw, sira lock ng door, etc. and it was not a regret that we booked this resort because it was amaaaazing! we availed the standard room. It has tv, mini ref, toiletries (towels, tissues, soap, shampoo, toothbrushes & toothpaste), water heater since may coffee and creamer provided, bottled water. lahat yan is good for 2 na. mabango rin ung cr sa loob ng room, no issues at all. May wifi rin! Complete na rin sa common kitchen, no worries na mag aagawan since they provided lots of plates kalderos and the like, lulutuin na lang dalhin. Mabato ung beach but the infinity pool did not disappoint! Ang ganda lalo na sa gabi. May signage na u can use the pool until 9 or 10 pm yata but the staff let us swim there until 1 am. There are tables near the pool which overlooks the beach na maganda mag chill! Pet friendly also ❤️ Overall, I loved the place! It felt like the price was too cheap for such a resort that has a complete amenities. Literal na sarili mo na lang at pagkain dalhin mo.

During my recent stay, I found the room to be modern and comfortable. However, a persistent sewer-like odor from the bathroom significantly impacted my experience. Despite running the exhaust fan continuously, the smell remained, causing considerable discomfort and affecting the overall ambiance of the room. The breakfast offerings were limited, likely due to low occupancy at the time, which is understandable. While the quality was satisfactory, the selection left me desiring more variety and flavor. The staff was courteous and accommodated my orders by the pool, though the service was somewhat slow. On a positive note, the cocktail was enjoyable, the pool area provided excellent views, and the beach was delightful. In summary, the unpleasant odor in the bathroom overshadowed what could have been a pleasant stay. Addressing this issue would greatly enhance the guest experience.

I really like this hotel, though a bit difficult to find at the beginning, some people doesn't know this hotel and found out that's its just new. But eventually we figured it out, we saw the street sign Calle Jacinto. The room is clean with bath towel, liquid soap, tooth brush, bottled water. Paulo is very accomodating when we've reached the hotel. There are some decorative paintings around the living room area at the second floor. Though you can smell the freshly paint but since I love painting so I really don't mind it😁. It's a walking distance from the famous Calle Crisologo. We walked around and watched the famous dancing fountain at night and we don't have difficulty going back to the hotel since it's just near. The only problem we've encountered in our room is the toilet bowl has some problem but we've talked to Ms. Meg their supervisor and they will surely fix this asap. They served a set meal breakfast, you just need to choose which one you like to eat with coffee or juice. Overall, our stay is satisfactory and this hotel is highly recommended.
