Zweifellos die Gastfreundschaft von Discovery Samal. Ich war in vielen Ländern und Resorthotels, aber nur Discovery Samal übertrifft meine Erwartungen. Das Essen war köstlich, insbesondere das Buffet, und ihr Steak verdient 5 Sterne. Der Strand ist auch ziemlich cool mit bläulich-grünem Wasser, wir haben auch springende Fischschwärme gesehen. Eine Übernachtung ist nicht genug, da das gesamte Resort so riesig ist. Wir werden also bald wiederkommen. Und das Beste für mich ist die Happy Hour. Ich habe meine blauen Margaritas genossen und ich liebe die Live-Band in der Hari-Bar.

From the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help.  We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests.  One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe.  Breakfast and dining at the hotel also deserve special mention. The buffet breakfast was generous and satisfying — a great way to start a busy day in Davao. For lunch or dinner, the on-site restaurant served a mix of Thai, Asian, international, and European dishes, giving a variety that could cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.  The presence of a café and even a pastry/deli option made it easy to grab a light meal or snack without leaving the property.  Location is another strong suit for Dusit Thani Residence. It’s conveniently located near the airport, which is a big plus if you have early flights or late arrivals.  At the same time, it’s still close enough to city amenities, shopping, and other attractions — offering both convenience and comfort. Many guests appreciated this balance of accessibility and tranquility.  That said, no stay is perfect, and a few aspects could be improved. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects.  Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. What stood out was how the hotel blends comfort, convenience, and courteous service with enough extras to feel like more than just a “place to sleep.” The pool, spa, and kitchen-equipped rooms make it a strong choice for families, couples, business travellers — essentially anyone who values a balance of luxury and practicality. Our stay at Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation in Davao was truly a memorable family experience and exactly what you would expect from a high-end 5-star resort. From the moment we arrived, everything felt seamless and well thought out for both adults and kids. The resort itself is stunning, with beautiful swimming pools, pristine beachfront, and a wide range of water and land activities that kept the whole family entertained throughout our stay. Dining was a highlight. Every meal was consistently excellent, and having an onsite Starbucks was a great bonus for those quick coffee breaks in between activities. Breakfast each morning was especially impressive — a fantastic spread with high quality options that set the tone for the day. What truly made the experience stand out, however, was the team. Special thanks to Joshua and Clarise — with Clarise showing excellent management in complicated situations — as well as Dominic and Ralphe, for their outstanding service and genuine hospitality. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was smooth, enjoyable, and complete. This is a place that delivers on both luxury and warmth — perfect for families looking for a relaxing yet engaging getaway. We will definitely be back in September.

My second time here, and it’s still my top choice! Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a breakfast buffet that is just as delicious as I remembered. Great service all around—highly recommended.

Dieses Hotel ist vielleicht nicht ein luxuriöses Fünf-Sterne-Eigentum, aber für seine Kategorie ist es sicherlich eines der besten Orte, wo man sich aufhalten kann. Die Zimmer waren sauber, gut gepflegt und alle Geräte funktionierten ordnungsgemäß, was den Aufenthalt komfortable und problemfrei machte. Die Lage ist auch sehr bequem, da es nur einen Spaziergang zum Pryce Tower und nahe gelegene Einrichtungen. Ein Punkt ist, dass das Hotel keinen Aufzug hat, also wenn Ihr Zimmer auf den oberen Etagen ist, warten Sie auf ein wenig Übung. Sie dienen auch nicht vollen Mahlzeiten, aber sie bieten kostenlose Kaffee und Brot im Lobby. Glücklicherweise gibt es in der Nähe viele Restaurants und Lebensmittelspots, so dass es sehr einfach ist etwas zu essen zu finden.

Was ich mag: - gute Lage - ausgezeichnete Kundenservice - schöne Rezeption - Das Frühstück war authentisch und schmeckt Was ich nicht mag: - Der Cockroach wurde in meinem Zimmer gefunden - Die Zimmer und Badezimmer sind sehr verdammt in dringender Notwendigkeit für eine Redo, trotz einiger Bemühungen um Renovierung seit meinem letzten Aufenthalt Anfang dieses Jahres - Der TV ist ziemlich viel nur eine Dekoration im Zimmer, etwa 4-5 Kanäle sind mit schlechter Signalqualität verfügbar, ohne jegliche Übertreibung ist es unmöglich zu sehen. Nicht ein Smart TV, also keine YouTube oder Netflix, um Sie unterhaltsam zu halten, wenn Sie hier bleiben, - es ist schlecht für den Preis/Nacht, der jüngste Preisanstieg ist wirklich nicht gerechtfertigt

Ich wiederhole das Hotel und werde bei meiner nächsten Reise wiederkommen, ein ruhiges, zentral gelegenes Hotel mit guter Sauberkeit und Ausstattung, gelinde gesagt, es ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das ist kein Hindernis dafür, dass Ihr Aufenthalt sehr gut wird.

We had a really great experience at Pearl Farm Beach Resort. The service was excellent, and the transportation arrangement was smooth and well-organized. I definitely felt like I got what I paid for. The staff and crew were very accommodating, polite, and attentive throughout our stay. Whenever we needed something, they responded right away. I also appreciated how friendly everyone was, some of the crew even helped take our pictures, which made the experience more memorable. The food was also delicious, and we truly enjoyed it. I’m giving 4 stars for cleanliness because I noticed there was a bird’s nest in the Samal House we stayed in, and there were times when bird droppings were present in the area. I hope this can be improved for future guests. Overall, it was still a wonderful and relaxing stay, and kudos to the whole team for their hospitality and excellent customer service.

Die Lage ist gut. Direkt neben dem People's Park, wo die Einheimischen gerne spazieren gehen. Das Hotel ist zwar etwas älter, aber die Zimmer sind geräumig. Gleich nebenan befindet sich das sehr gute spanische Restaurant Wobbly Pan Spanish Bistro. Insgesamt hatte ich einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Das Zimmer ist jeden Tag gereinigt. Toiletten und Wasserflaschen werden täglich gefüllt. Bfast ist zufriedenstellend. Dachtop-Restaurant ist ein Plus. Personal - sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt keine Mikrowelle, um Lebensmittel zu heizen. Sie können nicht nach Ihrem Zimmer kommen, weil Sie die Gesundheitspolitik haben. Die Lobby ist unter Renovierung, aber es ist ok.
