Ich kann dieses Hotel empfehlen. Es befindet sich wenige Km vom Airport (ca.15 - 20 Minuten Fahrt, je nach Verkehr). Der Gym ist okay und gut ausgestattet. Es gibt für mein Geschmack einen relativ kleinen Pool für die ganzen Hotelgäste. Allerdings war der Pool zum Zeitpunkt unter Reparatur und wir konnten zu einem nahegelegten Resort hingehen. Der Resort ist super schön gemacht und Pool ist etwas größer und wie ein Infinity Pool mit Blick zum Meer. Dort kann man Hochzeiten feiern. Der Strand vor Ort ist leider sehr steinig, sodass der Weg rein ins Wasser ziemlich weh tut.
Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

excellent service. staff are attentive and friendly. location is convenient and with access to the Nustar mall. beautiful, spacious room with sea view. and they even gave me some complimentary dessert and delicious birthday cake. buffet breakfast has a big spread and all good. overall had a great stay and looking forward to staying here again soon.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is extremely convenient, as it is close to the airport, which makes it perfect for travelers with early or late flights.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bed was cozy, and the room had all the basic amenities I needed for a short stay. Cleanliness was clearly a priority, which I really appreciated.
The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful. They assisted me quickly with check-in and were always willing to help with any questions. Their hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel offers great value for money. Considering the location, service, and comfort, the price was very reasonable. The airport shuttle service was also very convenient and saved a lot of time.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and airport-friendly place to stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Die Hotelausstattung ist für philippinische Verhältnisse recht gut. Auch der Service war insgesamt gut. Nur von innen betrachtet ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gut. Von außen wirkte das Hotel jedoch unsicher. Ich traute mich nachts nicht, dort herumzulaufen. Sogar eine kleine Apotheke war von drei Sicherheitsleuten besetzt, was eindeutig auf ein Sicherheitsproblem hindeutet. Mir wurde beim Essen im Hotel auch schlecht, sodass ich die letzten zwei Tage Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellen musste. Ich verstehe auch nicht, warum in einem so schönen Hotel nach 22 Uhr niemand mehr an der Rezeption ist. Insgesamt ist dieses Hotel eine gute Wahl, wenn Sie ein Hotel in Flughafennähe mit schönen Zimmern suchen. Wenn Sie einen interessanteren Urlaub verbringen möchten, sollten Sie sich vielleicht in der Stadt umsehen.

Die Aussicht auf das Hotel ist erstaunlich und die Lage ist sehr bequem, vor allem da es in der Nähe des Malls ist. Allerdings war der Schwimmbad während unseres Aufenthalts unter Reparatur, was ein wenig enttäuschend war. Insgesamt war es immer noch eine angenehme Erfahrung.

Kälte AC, Wärmedusche, schöne Arbeiter, guten günstigen Preis, die Betten zusammen bewegte und es war schmutzig unterhalb mit Nahrungsmittelschläuchen, aber ich verstehe. Sehr cool sie haben die Küche und schlafen mit Kabinen. Jemand hat die Tür Handhabe auf dem nächsten Raum aus irgendeinem Grund, warum. Auch musste ein 2k php Deposit absetzen, wie auch ich war schockiert. Zwei kleine Wasser, aber saubere Blätter und Handtücher. Gute Fläche auch. Windows und Türen ermöglichen es, Straßenlärm in die Hallen zu kommen, ebenso wie jeder in den Hallen. Jedoch werde ich wieder bleiben

The location was really great near groceries ( Robinson & SM ) , near outlet store, with nearby 24hrs to dine. I think its new ,there are lacking stuff inside the room like table & chairs no elevator . But great location is the best near airport also.

What didn't you like:
A small selection of paid breakfast. There is no buffet and you need to choose from the menu. But you can only choose 1 dish and drink for each one. In other words, don't expect to try even a couple of dishes for prepaid money. Here you can choose only 1 dish for breakfast. The rest is paid. It became clear only on the 3rd day of the stay, as they could not understand how the breakfast system worked.
We were charged 390 Philippine pesos for SPAM (or rather, three slices of local ham). It's expensive for this kind and quantity of food.
•On the last day, the cost of paying for a fruit plate increased. It was 350 pesos, it became 400.
•When ordering tom yam, we asked for additional shrimp (+250 pesos). We were served soup with 7 shrimp halves. We still haven't figured out how many shrimps there would have been without the extra ones we paid for. 🙈We thought they forgot to add additional ones. Then we saw the bill and additional shrimps were deposited.
•Few seafood dishes. Considering that you are 50 meters from the sea. There are also few products with vegetables. We suffered because of this. There was no light food.
•The leaves in each salad were stale.
•Service fees were from everything. We understand when the service fee is for food, but we still don't understand why the fee was for a massage. That is, the fee for the massage + the service FEE for the massage.
•There were also fees for filming shark swimming on our phone. We also did not understand why the fee, if the tour itself cost 7,500 pesos + 300 pesos was a service fee (again, we do not understand why it is not included in the total cost of the tour) + 260 pesos for shooting on the phone;
I was disappointed that when booking an excursion to swim with sharks for 7,500 pesos, fishing was included, but no one offered it to us. They just took us, we swam and brought it back. They say the tour took 5 hours, but it was two and a half hours.
•Hand soap has not been refilled in two days;
• The automatic circulation of water in the pool was rarely turned on, so we swam with flies for two days... trying to catch them from there;
•The performers were an hour late for the first tour, and 30 minutes late for the second. We don't understand why our time wasn't respected.
• One shower wasn't working. There was no water coming out of it;
• Often they didn't bring half of the dish. That is, if you ordered a meat plate with grapes, cheese and crackers, be prepared that I may not bring you crackers, but there will be 3 pieces of cheese. That's for 590 pesos. We ordered this plate twice, and two times we didn't get any crackers. The second time we asked and they informed us. Also, when ordering mashed potatoes with chicken, they brought us chicken without mashed potatoes. We asked and were informed. Everything was already cold. They didn't add a banana to the banana pancakes.
Unfortunately, curtains are not blackout, for those who cannot sleep without them, bring a sleep mask.
I write absolutely all the little things, as I am very careful about the service. I really liked this hotel. In any case, I recommend it wholeheartedly. After all, they communicate politely with you here, there are gorgeous views from a spacious room, and there is a large swimming pool. But I have to write down the little things so that the management can improve the quality of service so that staying at this hotel leaves only positive emotions for absolutely everyone! After all, the hotel is really beautiful!

LLeif ReyYou get what you pay for with this hotel. Although some of the appliances are old they still get the job done. The smart tv was a great addition to the room as it allowed us to watch and stream movies and tv shows. The only disappointing part was the internet connection as it wasn't stable and it wasn't fast enough to use reliably if you wanted to work.

Auch die Einrichtungen im Resort sind gut, sodass Sie nicht nach draußen gehen müssen und einfach im Resort abhängen können. Ich war mit der Vielfalt des Frühstücks zufrieden!

1. Lage: Da das Hotel weit vom Alona Beach entfernt liegt, musste ich für den kostenlosen Massagetransfer zusätzlich 300 Pesos pro Strecke bezahlen.
2. Ausstattung: Das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel und hell, ideal zum Schminken. Matratze und Bettwäsche waren angenehm, und die Einzelbetten hatten zwei Kissen, was sehr komfortabel war.
3. Pool: Das Wasser war sauber und wurde regelmäßig gereinigt, sodass man wunderbar schwimmen konnte. In anderen Resorts bin ich nie ins Wasser gegangen.
4. Verpflegung: Das Frühstück war inklusive, einfach, aber sättigend und lecker. Es war auch schön, jederzeit weitere Mahlzeiten bestellen zu können, die ebenfalls sehr gut waren.
5. Service: Die Mitarbeiter waren alle freundlich, und da es sich um eine ruhige Gegend handelt, boten sie einen Hoteltransfer in die nähere Umgebung an und bestellten Tuk-Tuks für weiter entfernte Ziele. Grab war nicht verfügbar.
6. Insgesamt: Ich würde dieses Resort wieder buchen, wenn ich einen ruhigen und entspannten Aufenthalt suche, allerdings war die Entfernung zum Stadtzentrum etwas unpraktisch. Das Resort ist ideal für Wassersport. Ich habe im ICM für 400 Pesos pro Strecke eingekauft, bin aber gerne in der Umgebung herumspaziert und habe mich deshalb am Alona Beach vergnügt.
Da das Resort von Bergen umgeben ist, gab es so viele Mücken, dass ich schätzungsweise zehn pro Tag getötet habe. Fragen Sie nach einer elektrischen Mückenspirale, um die Plage zu minimieren.
Ich kann dieses Resort wärmstens empfehlen, der größte Nachteil sind jedoch die Mücken.

Nettes Personal. Problemloser Check-in. Es ist keine Schadenskaution erforderlich. Saubere Gemeinschaftsräume und saubere Zimmer. Gutes Bett und Bettwäsche. Frische Handtücher. Toller Warmwasserfluss zum Duschen. Safe im Zimmer. Kabelfernsehen mit guter Auswahl an Kanälen. Ruhige Klimaanlage.
Berücksichtigung der Umwelt durch Verfahren zur Wiederverwendung von „Handtüchern“ und reduzierte Verpackungen (Wasserkrug zum Befüllen aus dem Spender im Flur, Spender für Handseife, Duschgel und Shampoo).
Gut zubereitetes philippinisches Frühstück, serviert in einem kleinen Restaurant mit Gewürzen. Praktische Lage für einen Besuch im Krankenhaus Chong Hua. Taxistand in der Nähe. Gehen Sie zu Robinsons Fuente & McDo.
Das Schlechte:
Tassen, aber kein Wasserkocher. Winziges CR, wo der Zutritt für zwei Personen selbst mit Choreografie nicht möglich ist. Der Zimmersafe ist sehr klein. Kein Kühlschrank. Keine CR-Bodenmatte.
Das hässliche:
Straßenkinder, die draußen schlafen, ganz in der Nähe des Hotels.
Das Trinkgeld:
Fragen Sie nach einem Zimmer, in dem das WLAN gut ist.
Der Abschluss:
Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Gut genug, um dorthin zurückzukehren.

BBubbleChimpGood for experienced divers but not for new divers, solo travellers, relaxing beach time or a deluxe experience even though it was £200+ a night so I did not think it was good value.
For me it was just the wrong choice and I didn't do enough research. The main disappointment comes down to me basing my expectations on the price instead of the 3 star rating. I haven't paid that much for a hotel before and usually go for 4 or 5 star places so I just don't understand the pricing, maybe that's just how it is in the Philippines. The staff and service are good, breakfast and the room are ok, spa and diving are the good amenities so it might be the diving location which warrants the price.
Lunch and dinner are good. I recommend the honey yoghurt muesli with mango and the chicken salad (with a dressing) for breakfast. Everything I had on the lunch/dinner menu was great - the tom kha gai soup, Dorado, burger, curry etc all good. Small range of beers and cocktails available but cocktails were good too.
The room and bathroom are fine for 3 star standards. There is termite stuff falling from the wood beams and dead moths or similar insects on shelves which did not get cleaned away.
The Swedish massage was good, I recommend Gail. The shiatsu was painful and pinched my skin so she switched to Swedish. The pool is murky and not enticing to swim in, lots of mozzies around it too.
I much preferred the beach and water conditions further down at Dauin. I like to relax on a nice beach and swim etc. that's where the great snorkeling is too. But the water at Atlantis is too rough and windy and the beach too narrow.
Although the dive masters are great for leading dives and probably for the other diving skills, I wouldn't recommend getting your open water certificate here especially if you're at all nervous about it. There were some differences with the SSI videos like being able to practise boat entry in the pool first and using a snorkel that I would have preferred what with the condition of the water there. The beach, water and entry conditions are so much better 20-30min down the beach at Dauin, Bongo Bongo beach. I managed to earn my open water and it was the reason for this trip but it wasn't a pleasant experience and I watched the divers enter at Dauin quite jealously.
Considering you can do 4-5 dives a day here plus a day for Apo island, I think 3-4 days here would be perfect.
The hotel tour prices were a bit more expensive than others I found and they do not arrange joiner tours so as a solo traveller, their tours were prohibitively expensive. For some reason there were no joiner tours available outside the hotel either, I don't know if that's because of the season (jan-feb) or that's usual for the Philippines but it's the first time I've experienced that in my travels.
The tour to Apo Island is good and well arranged. The only thing is as a snorkeler you have to wait until after lunch to get to the shallow turtle area but it was great and a benefit of going with the hotel is you leave on their boat right from the hotel, no need to drive to the ferry.

Die Umgebung bietet eine ausgezeichnete Infrastruktur, sodass Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Geldwechsel sehr bequem sind. Es gibt einen privaten Strand, der recht belebt ist. Das Hotel ist quasi ein Hotspot für koreanische Gäste. Die Zimmer sind recht geräumig. Insgesamt eine gute Erfahrung.

Mini-Bar is complimentary with a selection of 2 local beers, juices, and sodas. Nespresso machine with 4 capsules. TWG tea. Bottled water is unlimited. I appreciate the fridge being very cold.
Gerlain Paris branded bathroom amenities, as well as bath salts for the large bath.
Afternoon Tea (2:30 pm - 4:30 pm)
Light snacks with a limited selection of savory and sweet bites, they need to improve on this.
Evening cocktails and canapés (5:30 pm - 7:30 pm)
Excellent food buffet. I like the lechon quesadillas, jalapeño cheese poppers, and siomai. I appreciate the bartender crafting cocktails from a menu of drinks.
I understand the hotel is still brand new, but they need to do multiple inspections before releasing the room to guest. Vanity mirror was dusty from construction.
The Butler service was very attentive, many thanks to Ice (Butler) for making my stay pleasant, he would escort me to the pool, and even breakfast buffet at Fili Hotel bypassing the crowd at the entrance.
Breakfast Buffet is at Fili Hotel which is extensive and one of the best in Cebu. The problem is the crowd, while Nustar Butlers will escort Nustar guests to a table, there’s no dedicated tables for Nustar guests, which confuses the restaurant staff with seating assignments. Alternatively, the breakfast buffet at the executive club lounge is quiet but with limited options, they should have an a la carte menu to expand options like other international luxury hotels.
The security at the lobby entrance is wildly inconvenient and inconsistent, every time you enter you need to prove you’re a guest of Nustar and not a guest of Fili or a casino player. It’s weird that they are sometimes overly strict and many times just ignore people passing by. Guests have a keycard to use elevators what’s the point of the guards that have a list of people’s names and room numbers, if anything that’s a security risk.
The pool service is lacking. Shared between 2 hotels and the upcoming grand summit. The pool area lacks service of a 5-star hotel, towels need to be claimed at a towel hut. My expectation is that there are staff that will setup loungers with towels for guests. And since the pool facility is shared with the muncher large Fili Hotel it can get crowded. Fortunately, Nustar has a private infinity pool which was closed my stay.
Nustar Resort has potential to be Cebu’s most luxurious hotel, they have the hard product with their spacious luxurious rooms, but they need to improve their soft product - the service from the butlers are outstanding and personal, but everyone else seems to be lost. For the asking price of 250-300 usd per night there’s a lot to expect.
Nustar is primed for excellence but falls just short of achieving refined luxury. I’m hoping Nustar partners with Marriott and rebrand under Luxury Collection. Or even Hyatt with Unbound Collection.
