Very pretty and nice resort with mountain view. Friendly staffs and super super nice breakfast.
However, it is too fat away from Kandy city center, you have to pay 1500+ rp for each ride, and most tuk tuk drivers don't prefer to go to this place. The google map shows wrong way and the team knew about this, but informed us just on the day of arrival, making this journey even harder.

Anonymer BenutzerThis place is set on the mountain plains, and the morning views are absolutely stunning – waking up to mist and fog rolling over the hills, and walking along the road with those scenic vistas, was a real treat. If you're after peaceful mountain vibes, the location delivers.
Cleanliness is good, and the staff are friendly and polite throughout. The breakfast spread was decent too – nothing fancy, but tasty enough to start the day right. It's also convenient that downtown is just 2–3 km away, where you'll find plenty of restaurants with good food options.
The room comes with tea bags and a kettle, plus hot water for showers – all basic but functional. I visited in August, and the cold was manageable with the thick blanket they provided, so I slept fine without a heater. They don't have AC, which is understandable given the mountain climate, though in winter you'll need to pay an extra 2,000 rs per night for a heater – something to keep in mind if you're visiting during colder months.
The bed was average – linens and towels were clean, but I could feel the springs a bit, which affected my sleep slightly. Also, from the windows, you don't get a mountain or lake view – maybe one or two rooms might have one, but I wouldn't count on it. The real charm is outside when you step out in the early morning.
Price-wise, I booked at 315, and with taxes it came to 410. For me personally, that felt a bit high considering the room itself is quite basic. I think the premium is mainly for the location and that incredible morning fog and mist experience. If you're someone who really values waking up to that atmosphere, it might still be worth it for you.
Overall, it's a decent place with lovely views and friendly staff – just manage your expectations on the room and be prepared for the price. Would I stay again? Maybe not at this rate, but I can see why others might enjoy it.

A Hidden Gem – Perfect Honeymoon or Quiet Getaway
This place is truly a hidden gem. It was the perfect spot for a honeymoon couple or anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet getaway.
Travel tip: From Colombo, you can catch a direct bus to Nuwalapitiya. We didn’t know this and went via Kandy, which made the journey longer than necessary. If we had known, we would have taken the direct bus—it’s much easier.
Ps:The bus ride is phenomenal—very beautiful views along the way and very cheap.
The property is located on a hill and is naturally beautiful, surrounded by trees and birds whose songs make the atmosphere even more serene. It does get a bit cold at night, but it was the perfect kind of chilly—cozy and refreshing.
Our room had an amazing view, making it even more special. The stay itself was perfect for our honeymoon: very cozy, comfortable, and clean.
The staff were amazing, especially one gentleman at the restaurant (I didn’t catch his name, but I want to mention him). He went above and beyond to help us and was incredibly sweet and warm-hearted—it really made our stay special.
A small note: we noticed the pool looked a bit dirty, which some other reviews also mentioned. However, it was clarified in the pool area that they use natural spring water without chemicals, so this is expected and actually a great eco-friendly approach. But This hotel needs some love because this is a very nice place.
Another small note: there were some insects, like cockroaches, but that’s expected when staying on a hill in the middle of nature surrounded by trees.
Overall, this was a truly wonderful experience and a perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature. Highly recommended!!

Aleksei ZobovThe hotel is nice, spacious beautiful room at check in we were treated to a refreshing juice. There is a big pool on the grounds and a big jacuzzi with hot water in the room.
Minuses of the hotel:
Far from the attractions. Taxi from the center only go there for the price of pick me x2. Hotel taxi are 3 times more expensive. There are no stores and restaurants near the hotel, so inside the hotel prices for food x3, Also after 6pm it is dangerous to be outside because elephants are walking around. Now let's talk about the premium status and the five races. In 7 years of traveling, this is the first hotel that did not have a bathrobe, slippers and toothbrush and toothpaste in the room. The plumbing in the shower leaks, and the doors creak so much that you could call the spirits at night. Regarding the attention to the customer. I mentioned my upcoming birthday in conversation with the manager, but this fact was not used in any way to show any form of attention from the hotel. This is a huge miscalculation on the part of the staff at a premium hotel. We also had a late departure and our request to delay in the hotel for a couple of hours was refused. This was not due to the arrival of new customers, as the manager offered to extend our stay for a fee. For future customers this fact may be decisive in their choice. In general, the hotel is not bad, but the service and flexibility of the staff, as well as individual approach to customers, does not correspond to the premium level and requires improvement.

So großartig Lage.
