A very comfortable stay and one I would happily return to on a future trip to Sapporo.
The room was spacious by Japanese hotel standards, well maintained, and had a grand feel without being overly luxurious. After long days of sightseeing, it was a pleasant place to return to and rest.
The location is excellent, within walking distance of Sapporo Station while still being quiet and convenient.
What really stood out was the practicality of the hotel. The airport limousine bus stops here, making arrivals and departures very easy. There are also luggage lockers available, and Yamato luggage delivery services can be arranged from the hotel.
A small tip: if you're planning to use Yamato luggage delivery, do take note of the cut-off times and delivery schedules, as they may affect your travel plans.
Overall, a comfortable, convenient, and reliable base for exploring Sapporo and the surrounding areas.
I would definitely stay here again by next week.

Solo-Reise nach Hakodate. Es gab gute Kritiken, also machte ich eine Reservierung.
Das Zimmer war nicht groß, aber es war sauber und komfortabel.
Außerdem gibt es ein System, mit dem Sie Ihre Annehmlichkeiten an der Rezeption auswählen und mitbringen können. Es ist also schön, wenn Sie alles mitbringen können, was Sie brauchen, und zwar so viel, wie Sie brauchen! Ich dachte. Der Kaffeeservice zur Begrüßung war bis 19 Uhr verfügbar und ich war froh, auch Kakao trinken zu können ^_^
Das Zimmer lag im 8. Stock, aber die Lage war mittelmäßig. Ich wünschte, ich wäre im 10. Stock geblieben. Es gab Zeiten, in denen ich dachte, dass ... lol
Zwei Cocktails in der Lounge im 13. Stock! Ich bin sehr froh, dass keine Gebühren anfallen. Da die Lage in Richtung Mt. Hakodate liegt, fällt die Leuchtreklame vor Ihnen auf: „Toyoko Hotel“...www
Ich dachte, es wäre vielleicht romantisch gewesen 💕, wenn es auf der anderen Seite gewesen wäre, aber ich hatte eine entspannte Zeit ☆

Die Lage ist fantastisch, nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß vom Sapporo Station entfernt. Von dem Hotel ist es einfach zu anderen Orten wie Suskino Fuß zu erreichen. Das Zimmer und das Hotel sind fantastisch, sauber. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie bieten sogar kostenlose Snackbar mit viel weicher Getränke, Kaffee und Cookies, die Sie während des Tages und der Nacht so viel verwenden können wie Sie wollen. Sehr empfohlen und werden in Zukunft sicher wieder!

SUCH AN AMAZING HOTEL!! Coming from an airbnb in tokyo to here is an absolute 180 degrees change. We just book the standard twin room but it is quite spacious and very clean!! And the toilet is very spacious using the bathtub is alsoo veryy nice!! The staff is very very nice and when they notice from my passport that it is my birthday they kindly offer to decorate my room. Above all the hotel is just RIGHT BESIDE the station so it is very convenient. PLUS POINT that the hotel is absolutely GORGEOUS in the winter per my pic below. All in all WOULD DEFINITELY stay here again!

Have been to this airport 3 times, 1st time using this hotel to catch the early morning flight out. It’s ambience quite an eerie experience, a bit difficult to find the hotel initially😄
Otherwise the room was big, toilet & amneties was great! Staffs were very helpful & friendly. Would highly recommend this place if wanna good rest before flight out.

Dies ist ein neues Hotel, etwa sechs Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Sapporo entfernt. Im Erdgeschoss gibt es einen 7-Eleven-Supermarkt, was sehr praktisch ist. Die Rezeption und das Personal sind freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer ist etwas klein und hat nur ein 66 cm großes Fenster, das sich öffnen lässt. Insgesamt ist es aber sehr sauber. Das Bett ist angenehm weich und bequem, und es ist sehr ruhig. Ich habe mich für die Executive-Etage entschieden. Die Executive-Lounge ist sehr ruhig und bietet eine große Auswahl an Weinen und Getränken. Zu den Snacks gehören Seeigel, was etwas überraschend ist, aber das Frühstück in der Lounge ist zu klein. Wir bevorzugen das Frühstücksbuffet im zweiten Stock, da es dort mehr Auswahl gibt. Die Thermalquellen des Hotels sind auch in Ordnung. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft ein gutes Erlebnis.

Keio Prelia ist ein neues Hotel neben dem mystay aspen Hotel.
Anständige Zimmergröße bei 20sqm. Ich war zum 7th Mal in Sapporo. Dieses wird das Hotel sein, das ich weiterverfolgen werde.
Sehr sauber und die Lage ist bequem. Sie haben Esel im Hotel. Komplimentarische Getränke im Lobby.
Ich bin super glücklich, dieses Hotel zu finden. Ich liebe dieses Hotel. So komfortabel.

The rooms have poor sound isolation and you can hear your neighbours and the room above very clearly, particularly foot steps, which make sleeping difficult.

The location of Auberge Ninguruforet is a bit remote and far from the main town center of Biei. There are no nearby convenience stores like Lawson or Family Mart, so guests need to plan ahead for their meals and supplies. This can be inconvenient, especially for larger groups with elderly or young children who may have difficulty walking long distances in the cold winter weather.

ProcessTo improve the check-in experience, it would be helpful if the hotel could request guests to provide their passport details in advance. This would allow for a smoother and faster check-in, without the need for guests to go back and forth to their cars in the freezing temperatures just to take photos for the registration process.

Confusion
Even though the hotel had implemented the CCTV audio system to provide clear instructions, the language barrier appears to have caused some confusion for me during the check-out. This can be a common challenge, especially in more remote locations where the staff may not be as fluent in English.
Breakfast
Since our group requires halal food, it's understandable that we did not include the breakfast option in our package. The hotel could consider offering more diverse breakfast options to cater to different dietary needs in the future.
Luggage Handling and Car Access
One of the key issues we faced was the need to transport our luggage from the parking area to the unit using carts, rather than being able to drive our car closer to the entrance. This was especially challenging given the freezing -10°C temperatures at night .To improve this, it would be greatly appreciated if the hotel could allow guests to drive our cars closer to the entrance, even if just temporarily, to drop off the luggage. This would avoid the need for guests, especially those traveling with elderly or young children, to struggle with pushing heavy carts through the frigid weather.
Scenery
Despite the challenges, the stunning winter scenery at Auberge Ninguruforet seems to have made up for it. The -8°C temperature that morning must have created a true winter wonderland, with the beautiful snow-covered landscapes and crisp, clear skies. This picturesque setting is surely a highlight of your stay.Overall, with some improvements to the location accessibility, check-in/out procedures, and guest services, Auberge Ninguruforet could provide an even more enjoyable experience, especially for larger groups traveling with families. The breathtaking winter scenery, however, remains a major draw for this property.
We will surely come again to Auberge Ninguruforet, this time leaving our larger luggage in the car and only carrying the essentials we need for our stay in our backpacks. This will allow us to avoid the hassle of transporting heavy bags through the frigid weather, and instead focus on enjoying the stunning winter scenery.By packing light and only bringing what we need for the duration of our visit, we can easily move between our car and the hotel entrance without the struggle of pushing carts through the snow. This will make the check-in and check-out process much smoother, especially for our group with elderly and young family members.Despite the minor inconveniences we experienced previously, the breathtaking winter wonderland at Auberge Ninguruforet remains a major draw for us. We look forward to returning, better prepared to handle the cold temperatures, and immersing ourselves in the serene, picturesque setting that this property offers. With a few adjustments to our packing and luggage management, we are confident our next stay will be an even more enjoyable and memorable experience.

Wir haben vor kurzem für 3 Nächte in diesem brandneuen Hotel geblieben und waren gründlich beeindruckt. Als jemand, der häufig reist und gute Design und Gastfreundschaft geschätzt hat, hat dieses Gebäude alle richtigen Notes getroffen.
Die Atmosphäre & Zimmer:
Das Hotel verfügt über ein sauberes und mittelgroßes Design.
Mein Zimmer war eine anständige Größe - nicht zu klein für 2 Personen - und perfekt gepflegt.
ิิิิฺ-Moderne Einrichtungen, einschließlich einer Nespresso-Maschine und einem intelligenten Fernseher mit Netflix, machten unseren Aufenthalt sehr komfortabel, wenn es außerhalb schneit.
- Für die sorgfältige und konsequente Unterhaltung des Hauses. Das Zimmer wurde täglich mit viel Trinkwasser verfrisst.
Dienst:
Das Personal hier sind die wahren Sterne. Sie sind wirklich freundlich, sie begrüßen uns immer mit einem Lächeln. Sie gingen weiter, indem sie helfen, eine feste Taxi für unsere Flughafentransfer vorbuchen, die unsere frühe Morgenabfahrt stressfrei machte.
Lage und Essen:
Das Hotel ist zwar nicht in der Hügel und Büsten im Zentrum, ist aber nur wenige Gehstrecke entfernt. Der U-Bahn ist nur um die Ecke, aber wir lieber zu Fuß für Beobachtung. Das umliegende Gebiet ist mit großen lokalen Mahlzeiten verpackt. Außerdem ist das eigene Restaurant des Hotels eine gute Wahl für ein großes Abendessen.
Eine kleine Anmerkung zur Verbesserung:
Das einzige, was ich verpasste, war die Fähigkeit, ein Fenster leicht zu öffnen. Als jemand, der während des Schlafs (insbesondere im Winter) auf Raumtemperatur empfindlich ist, hätte ein wenig frische Luft den Aufenthalt noch perfekter gemacht.
Verdict: Sehr empfohlen für diejenigen, die Reinigkeit, moderne Estetik und Top-Service wert. Wir würden sicher noch einmal hier bleiben.

My room was as requested, 524. I booked a king room and it met my expectations. The design is lovely. The bathroom is not huge, but is well appointed with a bath and a separate shower. The room is very quiet and I had a very pleasant sleeping experience.
The hotel and my room are in excellent condition, with a high standard of decor and presentation. Clearly recently renovated. The design is first class. It combines a beautiful Japanese style, with classical and traditional designs. The result is very pleasant - Chic!
WiFi worked well. The room airconditioning was a little too hot for me, so I turned it off, and that was fine for me. The two guest’s lifts are fast and worked well over the six floors.
House keeping is also of a high standard as you would expect from a high end Accor hotel. This is especially so in Japan where service is an art form.
I had access to the executive lounge. It was a good experience. It provides a comfortable and cosy atmosphere, and the food quality is nice. The chefs are friendly and caring, thank you James. The lounge staff are first class. Thank you very much to Yokiku, Kaumini and chief Minoru for your attentive and excellent service. I appreciated your kind service.
The only negative I am sorry to say is the occasional noisy foreigners who don’t appreciate the quiet, polite, refined and subtle Japanese culture.
The location is convenient, and is about 15 minutes easy walk from the main Shinkansen station. Being in a built up area there aren’t any views of parks etc, but rather the city landscape. The hotel is 5-10 minutes walk to a variety of wonderful shopping areas.
Additionally, there are major shopping malls in the Shinkansen station area. Nearby, you can find many restaurants that should suit most people’s cuisine, budget and type of food.
Taxies are available at the hotel entrance. Buses and subway stations are nearby and provide access to various parts of the city. There are several attractions within 30-60 minutes of the hotel such as temples, museums and regional attractions. Ms Takako provided excellent suggestions.
To be fair, I read the Hotel’s web reviews. I noticed that the negative comments were from years ago, before the hotel became an Accor hotel two years ago. I noticed most of the more recent reviews are positive.
A special thank you to all the other warm staff for their excellent and polite hospitality. Having experienced hotels in every continent, this one stands out. The service and attention to detail is in a class of its own. Clearly, this is a special Hotel - undoubtedly, due to the hotel’s leadership.
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the General Manager, Mr Ted Kitahara, and his management team. Mr Ted introduced himself to me by chance. He made me feel very welcome, and was most kind to enlighten me about the hotel’s design and its interesting history. I hope to meet the Japanese architect one day!
Overall, an extremely pleasant and first-class experience. I look forward to visiting again.

Allgemein Eindruck: Eine perfekte Mischung aus Komfort und Gemütlichkeit. Trotz der düsteren Atmosphäre und der klassischen, dunklen Dekoration machen die private Essens- und Essenserfahrung eine standhafte Wahl im Bereich.
Highlights:
Das Zimmer: Geräuschlich mit schönen Holzböden und einem privaten Außenkanon. Socken in der Wärme während Schneefall ist rein magisch. Die Funktionen wie der ”His&Her” sinken und ein in-Room-Massage-Stuhl machen unser Aufenthalt bequemer. Alles Komplimentar im Zimmer fügt einen sorgfältigen Touch hinzu.
Essen: Das Buffet bietet eine beeindruckende Vielfalt an lokalen Gerichten neben schön geplatten Händen. Auch wenn es besetzt ist, verwaltete das Personal den Sitz systematisch, so dass wir die herrliche Winteraussichten bequem genießen. Die Hokkaido-Käse-Pizza und Dessert sind absolute Muster-Tests.
Lage und Service: Perfekt im Herzen des Sehenswürdigkeitsbezirks gelegen, mit berühmten Süßwarenladen in der Nähe. Die komplimentären Parkplätze und die Pflege, perfektes Personal machten unser Aufenthalt unschön.
Bemerkungen:
Atmosphäre: Die gemeinsamen Gebiete können sich wegen ihrer Popularität ein wenig überfüllt fühlen.
Design: Die Innenräume sind etwas veraltet und schlank in Richtung sehr dunkelen Ton, und vor allem ist Netflix nicht im Innenraum TV verfügbar.
Hinweis: Windows ist befestigt; die Belüftung wird über die Tür des Balkons verwaltet.
Urteil: Sehr empfohlen für Lebensmittel und Onsen Liebhaber, die das Zentrum der Aktion sein wollen.

GGastnutzerLoved that the hotel allows guests with tattoo to use the onsen though this wasn’t made known explicitly with written signs. Hotel was located at the end of Tanukoji so it’s a distance from the main area although still walkable.
Note that the bathroom doesn’t have a space to put your dry clothes and you will have to wear it outside unless you do not mind the bottom of your pants getting wet. Not very convenient for mix gender groups even though there’s a blind you can draw but still be visible from the mirror reflection. Room was located in the annex building which has alot of stairs so not that convenient for elderlies too. Overall, decent hotel but recommended only if you have no issues walking or are driving.
