The location is convenient, close to the city centre yet peaceful enough to rest. It made moving between meetings and personal time easy, something I truly appreciated.
The room was modern, clean, and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the lighting soft, and everything worked perfectly. It was not about luxury, but about thoughtful comfort that helps you recharge.

"This is the 2ed time staying here for 2 nights the price is ok the room is clean you get free tea and coffee in your room the breakfast is good value for money I believe it’s 15 pounds per person there is lots of fresh fruit cereal, a cooked breakfast as much tea and coffee as you like we didn’t go into the park this time as I have been in the wildlife Park before with my daughter this time we were visiting family the wildlife Park is amazing the staff at the Hex Hotel are super friendly . And professional. The only thing I would say negative about the hotel is checking after 4 pm. And you have to be out of the room by 10 am. I think check-in should be from 2 pm then that gives you a little bit longer in the room and maybe check out 11 am but apart from that I can’t fault this place but if you want to do an earlier check-in, they charge you £30. And if you want to upgrade your room, they charge you £15 per night to upgrade. . The shower is absolutely amazing. You have a rain shower and a smaller shower. You get two massive bath towels, two hand towels also shower gel body cream soap. That are individually. I will definitely be coming back and staying again. A short taxi ride into Doncaster town Centre where there is lots of bars that play music if you’re into that there’s also a designer outlet not far from the hex hotel. ."

Obwohl das Hotel in den acht Tagen ausgebucht war waren keinerlei Geräusche aus den Nachbarzimmern zu hören. Es ist zudem an einer ruhigen Straße gelegen. Die Lage zum Bahnhof, zur Innenstadt und zur Tramstation ist hervorragend. Das typisch englische Frühstück ist prima, das Buffet wird stets schnell aufgefüllt. Das Personal ist mäßig freundlich und sehr bemüht. Ich kann dieses Hotel wirklich empfehlen, auch wegen der absolut guten Preissituation."

"I recently stayed at the Rutland Hotel in Sheffield and had a wonderful experience.
The hotel is in an excellent location near the hospital, local shops and eateries and near a bus route which takes you directly into the town centre / railway station etc.
The room was very spacious with lots of storage space, tea and coffee making facilities and the bathroom was modern and clean.
The king size bed was really comfortable but one small criticism would be the pillows which could do with upgrading.
That being said I have travelled extensively here and across the world and the one thing that always makes me want to revisit a hotel is the quality of service received.
The staff at the Rutland hotel are simply exceptional from Alison who lifted my spirits by sorting out my restaurant order so I could eat in my room as I was exhausted after spending hours at my mums hospital bedside to Zoe the lovely lady who went into service my room and found my purse and rushed down to reception to return it to me.
I will definitely return to this hotel and this is largely due to the lovely staff."

"Rooms a bit tired - we had a ‘business class’ room and no idea how compared with standard room. Was a generous size. Bed comfortable but bathroom seen better days and whoever did mastic needs practise! Sink had a crack and toilet flush was low pressure.
Staff ( reception, breakfast and bar) pleasant and helpful. Appreciated being able to leave luggage while we went to the snooker.
Short walk into main town centre but not particularly pleasant walk.
Did represent good value for money but not sure I would choose to stay here again."

Die Bar hat eine gute Vibe verkauft eine Auswahl an Mäusen Bier einschließlich Camden Pale Ale. Gute Cifea auch zu vernünftigen Preisen. Die Bar-Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich.
Alles, was Sie essen und trinken können, ist 10/10 und ist bis 11amnat am Wochenende ...perfekt nach einer großen Nacht aus

Es war keine schöne Erfahrung, aber es ist nicht ein frillbett, dann das Hotel geliefert, aber wenn Sie eine Hotelerfahrung wollen, suchen Sie andere.
Das Hotel befindet sich in der Nähe des alten Schlossmarktes, viele Obdachlose und Lautstärke.

GastnutzerIt was an impressive and pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a family room, which was perfect for our trip, very spacious and with great view. The bed mattress is one of the best in all my experience. I had great sleep during the stay. The cleanliness of the room was ok. The location is very convenient if you are driving - 20 mins drive to the walking trails and 10 mons drive to centre of Sheffiled. David from the restaurant provided highly professional and helpful service for our breakfast. All in all, we would consider staying at this hotel again if we visit this area again.

We were surprised how nice the hotel is for the price we paid. I went with an old friend for a mid-week city break in Sheffield. The hotel is pretty close to theb train station and we walked there easily with our wheeled suitcases. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful The bathroom had a bath and a shower; the bedroom itself was a decent size. I don't think the electronic safe was working correctly, or maybe it was used error, not sure about that, lol. There was a fridge in the room which was great and unexpected; the wi-fi was also excellent. The staff were friendly, and we could get more coffee, tea and milk from reception. We didn't go to the gym or spa, we did go swimming and it's a lovely, big, well heated pool. There were also two steam rooms, a sauna, an ice room and a discovery shower (a hot or cold shower with four sprays and red and blue lights). There wasn't a machine to spin the swimwear in, but there were polythene bags for wet swimwear. A lovely touch in the gym reception was a coffee machine, where you could sit down and have a free cappucino or whatever your fancy is. We got the train to Meadowhall which took 5 mins and cost £2.90 return (with our senior rail cards). Some locals said the tram was even easier, but we found the train easy enough and very fast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a city break in Sheffield.

The room was modern, clean, and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the lighting soft, and everything worked perfectly. It was not about luxury, but about thoughtful comfort that helps you recharge.
Breakfast offered a good variety and the restaurant had a calm atmosphere that made mornings feel easy. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help without being intrusive.
What stood out the most was the consistency. Every part of the stay felt dependable and well cared for. That sense of steadiness made it easy to relax and focus on the purpose of the trip.

Ich überprüfe die Bewertungen, bevor ich mich hier entscheide zu bleiben. Es ist ein Budget Hotel, aber Parkplatz ist einfach (zusätzliche Kosten) und es gibt einen EV-Ladegerät, das sehr bequem war. Es ist nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Kino und es gibt viele Restaurants in der Nähe. Das Hotel ist sehr gut ausgestattet.

GastnutzerI recently stayed at the Rutland Hotel in Sheffield and had a wonderful experience.
The hotel is in an excellent location near the hospital, local shops and eateries and near a bus route which takes you directly into the town centre / railway station etc.
The room was very spacious with lots of storage space, tea and coffee making facilities and the bathroom was modern and clean.
The king size bed was really comfortable but one small criticism would be the pillows which could do with upgrading.
That being said I have travelled extensively here and across the world and the one thing that always makes me want to revisit a hotel is the quality of service received.
The staff at the Rutland hotel are simply exceptional from Alison who lifted my spirits by sorting out my restaurant order so I could eat in my room as I was exhausted after spending hours at my mums hospital bedside to Zoe the lovely lady who went into service my room and found my purse and rushed down to reception to return it to me.
I will definitely return to this hotel and this is largely due to the lovely staff.

GastnutzerThe hotel is closeish to the station and was close to where I was working for a few days. It's in the city center with a tram stop a very short walk away.
The reception looks bright, but they have an expensive coffee machine there, which I soon learnt meant I didn't have a kettle in my room.
Check in was quick, friendly and simple. I had booked for two, ended up on my own. I got to my room and immediately noticed it was tiny with no desk, just a small path around the bed and a small bathroom. For the price paid, I expected a normal hotel experience.
When I used the bathroom, I noticed a long hair in the sink, which washed away with the slightest trickle when I started washing my hands which told me it hadn't been cleaned. That made me then look at the floor and noticed that hadn't been swept, either.
