We stayed here as a couple and had a mixed experience. The hotel has its charms, but also a few drawbacks.
Rooms & Amenities:
The rooms were quite small and felt congested, including the toilet where the commode placement was very cramped. The amenities provided were basic — just soap and a combined hair and body wash. Surprisingly, there was no handwash, no refrigerator, and no hair dryer in the room. On the plus side, the room was clean, and we had no issues with hygiene.
Staff & Service:
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the stay more pleasant.
Facilities & Atmosphere:
The swimming pool was lovely, and the view from the poolside was amazing, directly overlooking the sea. The lounge area shared the same beautiful view — a great spot to relax in the evening. There was even a small jewelry corner inside the hotel, so beware — you might end up buying a ring or necklace if your partner starts browsing!
Other Notes:
The lift was possibly the oldest I've ever used — it really felt like stepping back into the 90s, which in a way added some quirky character to the place.
Food:
The full English breakfast was genuinely very good — one of the highlights of our stay.
Overall Value:
The pricing was reasonable, but for better value, it would be great if they included essentials like a refrigerator, handwash, and hair dryer in the rooms.

Stayed here in March 2026 with my family.
Overall below average experience.
There was only one passengers lift which was out of service and service lift was very small for a stroller and everyone staying on higher floors were struggling.
Outdoor pool was closed due to season but heated pool was also not functional.
Staff was not rude but they were not Marriott level, most of the requests were declined without any work arounds.
I booked a sew view room and it was very compact, other things were manageable but toilet seat was not. It had very less space that you couldn’t sit properly to poop :)
Breakfast options were good.
Based on my experience I didn’t feel it like Marriott and I would not be able to recommend this to anyone.
Was ok, but to be honest the room and actually hotel were very dated. And the pool facilities in terms of changing were totally inadequate. Breakfast was ok, and thd location was decent. But having to pay extra for parking when I was a paying guest was poor.

Das Personal war sehr hilfreich. Sie halfen mir, die schweren Gepäck auf den oberen Stock zu bringen, egal, ob es sich um Ein- und Auscheck handelt. Die Rezeption Damen waren glücklich und sehr nett. Ich werde wieder kommen und meinen Freunden empfehlen.

Große Lage für den Tag, aber nicht so viel für die Nacht. Sehr laut draußen bis mindestens 3 Uhr.
Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer und es war hervorragend. Laden Raum im Hauptschlafzimmer und dann ein separates Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten. Betten waren wirklich komfortable.
Wir haben nur Frühstück im Hotel gegessen, das im Buffetstil war. Große Auswahl verfügbar und es war sehr gut.
Das Parken im Hotel war nicht großartig. Wir mussten unsere Fälle ablassen und dann alternative Parkplätze finden. Dies war nicht einfach, da alle nahe gelegenen Parkplätze voll waren - ein wunderschöner Wettbewerb auf BIC.
Wir genossen unseren Aufenthalt und würden zurückkehren.
Typical UK seaside hotel, in need of re-furbishing. We paid a lot for the small, badly furnished bedroom, but it was one of the busiest weekends of the year. Friendly, helpful staff. Chloe in the bar was a star. Pleasant walk through the park to the beach.

This is my second stay at this hotel. I am a professional dancer and every year there is a major competition held in Bournemouth, and to be honest, Hilton is one of the most closest hotels to the place of competition, which was the main reason to stay there. But, as last year, as this year, the stay didn’t leave a good impression. Last year my Gucci T-shirt was stolen by the housekeepers (it was lying in my suitcase) and the hotel didn’t compensate it in any way. This year, while doing the check-out, the lady at the reception wanted to charge extra money from me. I had breakfasts included, but she told me the opposite was showing in her screen. When I asked her to show her screen, she refused, saying that “oh it’s a mistake, sorry”. Then she said that I have other things to pay and I couldn’t understand what, as we never ate at the hotel during the day, didn’t use mini bar (which wasn’t even filled up), didn’t use spa, basically nothing. She was trying to find out what shall I pay for about 10 minutes. When I told her I’m late to the airport, she said everything is fine and I can go.
These situations with payments and money completely ruined everything and my opinion about the hotel. I won’t come back for sure.
About the food: there is basically nothing to eat. Sausages, bacon, eggs, harshbrowns, beans and some vegetables which look green.
Service: cleaning may be way better. We had plenty of trash in our room such as bottles, cans, empty bags which have been with us for the whole week of our stay and were never thrown away. The first few days the towels were changed, while after that they weren’t even lifted up from the floor.
I was staying with my friend and we occasionally ordered food. I have asked at the reception for two forks four times, but I was totally ignored. On the 5th time, when I was screaming, they finally brought the forks. Same with glasses: I’ve asked for 4 glasses, but have never seen them))
The overall feeling of the stay is absolutely negative, as it’s basically just a place for sleep without any good services. For the money it costs it’s absolutely not worth it.

Our family room (Ken dodd) was very big and comfortable.
We also enjoyed the english breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions.
3 star celebrity theme hotel is a little bit outdated but maintained very nicely, clean, and will definitely recommend and visit again.

Je n'ai pas pris de petit déjeuner, seulement le dîner. Une discussion stérile commence et l'acceuil a en effet constaté qu'il n'y avait pas de petit déjeuner mais que le dîner...
Personne explique le fonctionnement de l'hôtel, où se trouve le restaurant pour le dîner, juste demander l'heure pour manger.
Je ne me suis pas senti à ma place.
2 bagages en arrivant, je galère pour entrer, personne pour aider...
Mon anglais n'était pas top mais je faisais l'effort de communiquer.
Par contre les serveurs du restaurant du soir sont gentils, agréables et attentionnés. Bravo

DDijana VWir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Heathlands Hotel in Bournemouth und würden es glücklich empfehlen. Die Lage ist großartig, es macht es einfach zu erkunden das Gebiet.
Das Personal war während unseres Aufenthalts sehr freundlich und professionell. Als wir auscheckten, fragten wir, ob wir unsere Gepäck verlassen könnten, damit wir weiter Bournemouth erkunden, und sie stimmten , was unglaublich hilfreich und sehr geschätzt war.
Das Frühstück war lecker und ein toller Weg zum Beginn des Tages.
Insgesamt, ein schöner Aufenthalt mit hervorragender Service. Wir würden sicher zurückkehren.

GGastnutzerIch habe vor kurzem vom 25. bis 26. April im The Bath Hotel Beaumont geblieben, wo wir zwei Standardzimmer mit Fenstern reserviert hatten. Leider war die Erfahrung ziemlich uneinheitlich.
Einer der Zimmer war sehr gut, sauber und komfortabel. Allerdings war das zweite Zimmer extrem enttäuschend und in schlechtem Zustand. Es war deutlich unter den Erwartungen, vor allem da beide Zimmer unter der gleichen Kategorie gebucht wurden. Ich würde gern empfehlen, die kleineren Standardzimmer zu vermeiden, da die Qualität sich anscheinend sehr ändert.
Auf einer positiven Bemerkung ist die Lage des Hotels ausgezeichnet und sehr bequem. Die Spa- und Schwimmbadeinrichtungen sind ebenfalls gut, aber es ist klar zu bemerken, dass diese zu einem zusätzlichen Kosten pro Person kommen, die zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung nicht transparent mitgeteilt werden.
Parkplatz ist verfügbar, aber kostet etwa £25 pro Tag. Leider war der mit diesem verbundene Service sehr schlecht. Unser Auto war unter einem Baum geparkt und wurde in Vogelabfällen abgedeckt. Als wir diese Besorgnis erhoben, waren die Mitarbeiter hilflos und erklärten, sie hätten nicht die Macht, sie zu reinigen. Stattdessen wurden wir Reinigungsmittel und erwartet, dass wir das Auto selbst zu reinigen, was angesichts des Preises sehr unprofessionell ist.
Zusätzlich war der Väterservice unzuverlässig. Mehrfach hatten wir 15–20 Minuten für unser Auto zu warten, und zweimal haben wir es endlich selbst zurückgeholt, nachdem wir es zu warten gesagt wurden. Das besiegt den Zweck eines zahlbaren Väterservice.
Das Personal, insbesondere an der Rezeption, traf sich als hart und unprofessionell, vor allem bei der Bearbeitung von Beschwerden. Für ein Hotel dieser Standard war das Fehlen eines grundlegenden Services, einschließlich Raumservice oder effizienter Anrufservice, überraschend.
Insgesamt, während die Lage und einige Einrichtungen gut sind, hat die Uneinheitlichkeit in der Zimmerqualität und schlechter Kundenservice unseren Aufenthalt erheblich beeinflusst. Ich würde dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen, es sei denn, Verbesserungen werden vorgenommen.

Bathroom well appointed, nice towels and quality Elemis toiletries, but would benefit from a really thorough deep clean and a lick of paint.
Absolutely fabulous public rooms, not ‘dated’, as some reviews suggest, but furniture and fixtures appropriately in keeping with the style and period of the building. Wonderful!
Beautiful outdoor pool area and indoor spa. Lots of outdoor seating areas. Extensive woodland to the rear of the hotel. Just a few minutes walk to Knoll Beach, through the hotel’s extensive grounds (which includes tennis courts and a golf course) just over the road. Absolutely no information provided about any of these brilliant amenities, or indeed anything at all, in our bedroom. Also, no information about Wi-Fi, no information about breakfast times, no information about how to even contact Reception on the telephone provided in the room …
The food at the evening meal was exceptional but was let down by the very slow service as staff focused on setting tables for the following day’s breakfast - which turned out to be so disappointing that it was hard to believe that both meals had originated from the same kitchen.

We did not leave it open as vermin might enter the room. We also mentioned it was a 40th bday but no extras not even a note.

GGuest UserWe had a 3 day stay at the Harbour Hotel in Christchurch.
We ate dinner there twice - once at ”The Upper Deck” and once at ”The Jetty”. Both meals were excellent: we had lovely tables, the food was great and the service made us feel special. The experience at breakfast was the same, with attentive service from all the staff and great food served on the open veranda.
Although we were using the hotel as a base for our walks around the area, we also used the spa which was well maintained and had all the facilities you could want.
We did have an issue with our assigned room which was not as ordered from Trip.com. Although the reception team reconfirmed they had allocated the room accurately based on what Trip.com had ordered for us, the Cherry the reception manager took it on herself to compensate us for the mismatch.
From start to finish the service at The Harbour was outstanding. All the staff that served us in reception, the bar, the restaurants and the spa were helpful, efficient and friendly. Although our room was smaller than we'd ordered, it was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable.
All in all, this was one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in, this in no small part due to the professionalism and caring attitude of the staff team. We will return !
