W well-located Hotel with friendly staff and good food. The Hotel is a bit dated in its appearance and could be at an upper grade if rooms/bathroom had more standard items eg hairdryer, draw/shelf space). A ceiling leaking water into a bucket was not the fault of staff but did not create a good impression in reception.

We stayed at the Ramside to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom had both a large bath and walk-in shower. We ate in the Rib Room Restaurant where the service of John and his team was excellent and the food of the highest quality.

Das Zimmer ist sehr modern und sauber und sauber. Die Lage ist sehr gut, im Servicebereich, neben McDonald's, die Rezeption des Hotels hat Kosten. Das einzige, was nicht sehr zufrieden ist, ist, dass das Zimmer eine Temperatur eingestellt ist, ein wenig geräuschig und die Temperatur ein wenig niedrig ist. Die Klimaanlage ist vom Rezeptor kontrolliert. Das kleine Zimmer verfügt über ein automatisches Klimaanlage-Modus, das Wind hat sich immer wieder erschüttert. Mitternacht suchen Sie nach einer Rezeptor-Einstellung. Die Rezeptor-Einstellung ist sehr gut und helfen Sie, das Heizungsmuster zu ändern. Aber die Temperatur ist nicht hoch.

Booked for two nights to go to Beamish museum . Travelling by train. Walk , part uphill to Castle takes about 30 minutes from the station. Uber £ 8 bus quite complicated.  There is a bus from town centre to the hotel  but it’s quite complicated suggest if unable to walk book a Uber. Bus  from town centre to Beamish entry very easy,  £2.50.  Now for the Castle itself. You can’t help falling in love with the quaint and worn castle the ‘worn’ being part of its attraction. We stayed in the stables in an upstair room. Stairs are quite narrow with small landings so  not suited to those with hip and calling difficulties. Bed , bedding and bathroom immaculate and very comfortable. Room very peaceful with early waking of bird song. Bathroom had a separate magnifying mirror which was very much appreciated. Down side was the dust on the beams over the bed hence the lower score for cleanliness.  Now for the breakfast and restaurant service. Faultless. Food of the highest quality with service to match. Breakfast matches the London 5 star ratings.  Overall this hotel was exceptionally good value and a place we plan to visit again. We highly recommend this for anyone visiting Beamish who appreciates high quality food, something a little different, peace and quiet who enjoys a lovely bath.

一次定了兩間全家出遊，酒店地理位置非常好，就在市中心附近，周圍吃飯、購物都很方便。房間雖然不算特別大，但非常乾淨整潔，佈局合理。床非常舒服，枕頭和被子都很柔軟，睡覺特別踏實。浴室很乾凈，水壓剛好，洗澡體驗非常不錯。 早餐很豐富，有熱食也有冷餐，種類多樣，味道也挺好，尤其是煎蛋和香腸，吃得很滿足。工作人員態度非常好，服務細緻周到，讓人感覺很温暖。入住和退房過程都非常順利，沒有任何麻煩。 總體來説，這家酒店物有所值，特別適合短住或商務出差，下次有機會還會再來。

A great stay. Staff were lovely and super helpful. A problem with my room meant i had to switch, but staff addressed this as soon as possible. Pool was an added bonus as were the sauna and steam room. Will def stay there again when visiting Durham.

Das Essen war wunderschön , sauber und gut gepflegte Zimmer nicht so groß am checkout, wenn der Empfänger nicht erkannte Reise . Com und empfahl, wir nicht gezahlt hatten trotz der Bescheinigung, dass sie die Vorauszahlung

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und das Personal war außergewöhnlich hilfreich (insbesondere weil wir zwei kleine hatten) und das Zimmer war schön und hatte bedenkliche Luxusarten wie eine Kaffeemaschine und eine Premium Toilette. Ein fantastisches, stressfreies Aufenthalt für die ganze Familie! Sie werden sicher wieder zurückkommen.

A very pleasant stopover stay on a journey north. Plenty of car parking, food was good (we got a great deal on a 3 course set menu for £20), cooked breakfast was really tasty and cooked fresh to order, the grounds and setting were lovely.
