This hotel is at the end of the lake. The hotel serves a really tasty buffet lunch for 15.90 Euros. It includes, salad, soup, probably 3 or 4 meat dishes and  dessert. I was there 10 minutes before a huge group , maybe 50 in all arrived and I had to hurry myself to get my food because it would be a long wait. When I was eating people can’t squeeze by each other but I only ate there once and  since it will rain that afternoon I didn’t waste any time. I have to say the staff was ok. A lady checked me in quite efficiently. I paid the occupancy tax and I got the key. When I arrrived at 11:45 am, there was no one in the small reception office. A waitress was really serving diners. There is a man who worked at the deli /sausage shop next to it to help out. I have to say the staff there in general wasn’t that welcoming. I wish they had been more pleasant and show a little smile and happiness in their work. It seemed like she was there because she had no other choice.   The room is 12 at the end of a long hallway. There is a big window. The room is small but I was fine with it. No complaint. The other thing is I wish they put a table lamp on the small desk. Otherwise, the room has enough shelf space for me. The morning buffet is excellent. It offered some tomatoes, small baby coins , cucumbers, many different of rolls, several varieties of ham , salami, egg, sausages, yogures, juice, cereal.  The coffee is made with coffee beans and it was excellent. The breakfast is the best. The small village has practically nothing. There is another hotel 10 to 15 minutes that serve dinner. Another town Bad Goisern is 2.4 miles to the north accessible by train or by bus where there is a Hofer ( Aldi in the U S ) and other supermarkets and restaurants. If you don’t have a car, you have to be prepared something or pay to eat at the one and only restaurant that I knew. On the other hand, this hotel has a microwave oven and one water kettle in case you have instant noodles. The bakery a few steps is expensive. I had a coffee and a sweet roll for 8 Euros.  The hotel is a few steps from a trail that takes you down 6 miles to Obertraun . The trail is in good condition and a large distance is by the lake. You can find the trail in Alltrails. There is a restaurant called Seecafé Obertraun that you can rest to have a sandwich , coffee or a beer. The sitting is by the lake and there is a clean restroom . The waitress and waiter were both friendly.  If I have to do it again, I would take a bus to Hallstatt from there . I think the bus number is 542 to 544. It should be cheaper than the ferry which is a rip off . 12 Euros for a 25 minutes ride. Bus is cheaper . The ferry is a fraud and it shouldn’t charge that much. I didn’t know there is a bus connection from there. All in all, this hotel is quite decent. The hotel doesn’t serve dinner but the buffet lunch is quite adequate. If you eat at 2:00 pm ( I think it closes at 2:30 pm ), you won’t need to dinner. Aside from the not so welcoming one out of 3 staff members, price is unbeatable. I notice that the price doesn’t change if you book early or late and doesn’t use dynamic pricing which I hate. If there is availability, you pay the same price which is more than fair. I read that one guest complaInts about the smell from the kitchen and the meat market next to it. It isn’t really an issue. There is a door on the second floor leading down to the kitchen and meat market. Someone closed the door in the morning. Some people just was so nitpicking when they are angry which is not justifiable. I believe the owner offers a decent , clean room for a very fair price as Hallstatt is really touristy and this hotel is a much better option that staying in Hallstatt and pay overpriced food and lodging with every shop sells souvenirs. If you are in the area, this hotel is an excellent choice. 

Selbstchecken im Hotel. Beim Einchecken müssen Zimmernummer und Nachname angegeben werden. Ich habe die Nummer aus der Reisebuchung mehrmals versucht, aber es hat nicht funktioniert. Meine Tochter, die gut Englisch spricht, rief den Ansprechpartner an, und er gab ihr eine Nummer. Ich loggte mich erfolgreich ein und ging dann zum Ausfüllen der Gästeinformationen. Nachdem ich die Informationen der vier Zimmergäste eingegeben hatte, wechselte ich zum Bildschirm für die Zimmerkarte. Ich benutzte zunächst die Kreditkarte meines Mannes, aber das Telefon war mit der lokalen Türnummer ausgestattet und konnte das SMS-Passwort nicht empfangen. Ich musste meine Karte erneut benutzen. Es dauerte fast eine halbe Stunde, bis die Zimmerkarte endlich ausgefüllt war und ich die Wohnung betreten konnte. Wir wohnten in einer Zwei-Zimmer-Wohnung mit viel Platz, eleganter Einrichtung, Balkon und einer Küche mit allem nötigen Geschirr. Da es in der Nähe einen Supermarkt gab, war das Einkaufen sehr praktisch. Wir kochten an beiden Abenden, die wir dort verbrachten, Abendessen, und die Kinder fanden die Nudeln aus ihrer Heimatstadt besonders lecker. Beim Verlassen können Sie durch Scannen des QR-Codes auschecken. Was für eine besondere Art einzuchecken, das Zimmer entspricht der Buchung 😀

Ich habe erst gestern dort übernachtet. Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich, und das Holz verlieh ihm eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Die Kinder waren besonders von den Etagenbetten begeistert. Das Frühstück war eher einfach, ein typisches Western-Frühstück. Aber der Ausblick aus dem Fenster war absolut atemberaubend. Ich hoffe, im Winter wiederzukommen, um Ski zu fahren – das wäre bestimmt auch wunderschön!

Ein Einzelzimmer für eine Person, sehr warm und komfortabel und sehr hygienisch! Das Hotel liegt am See und ist 2 Kilometer vom Bahnhof Hallstatt entlang des Uferwegs entfernt. Der eigenständige Check-in ist sehr praktisch. Sie können vom Hotel aus starten und am See entlang bis zur Kleinstadt Hallstatt wandern. Die Landschaft entlang des Weges ist schön. Sie können auch ein Fahrrad mieten und dorthin fahren. Das Frühstück ist etwas teuer, dafür gibt es frisch gepressten Orangensaft und frisch gemahlenen Kaffee. Die Landschaft außerhalb der Restaurantkulisse ist gut. Ein Hotel, in dem ich bei Gelegenheit wieder übernachten werde.

Man kann dieses Hotel nur als ein typisches B&B bezeichnen. Dieser Ort liegt wirklich tief in den Bergen. Wir fuhren zu P1 und parkten, bevor wir in den Shuttlebus umstiegen. Aber auch wenn dieser Ort klein und gut ausgestattet ist, erwarten Sie nichts jeglicher Service. Als wir ankamen, wurden wir von einem asiatischen Mädchen begrüßt. Ich werde Ihnen von den Einrichtungen und der Ausrüstung erzählen, die ich Ihnen erzählen sollte, und ich werde Ihnen auch beim Tragen von Gepäck helfen. Es ist anstrengend, dreieinhalb zu fahren Stunden bis zum Hotel. Plötzlich sehe ich ein asiatisches Gesicht und fühle mich sofort freundlich. Ich muss die Initiative ergreifen und sie fragen, wie man die Heizung einschaltet. , sonst wird es nachts und früh morgens auch nachts extrem kalt Österreich Anfang Oktober!

Das ist das zweite Hotel in Hallstatt, aber der Front-Counter-Service ist das schlimmste, das ich in Europa getroffen habe. Ich habe dieses Hotel gewählt, weil es nahe dem Kreuzfahrthafen ist, aber es hat eigentlich ein anderes Gebäude, das weit von hier entfernt ist, besser ich das andere 4-Sterne-Hotel, das nahe ist und Service viel besser. Muss den Front Desk Service verbessern

Sehr schönes Resort mit geräumigem Gelände und sehr praktisch. Wir nahmen ein Boot vom Resort nach Hallstatt, 10 Euro pro Person. Von Hallstatt bringt uns ein öffentlicher Bus direkt zur Bushaltestelle vor dem Resort. Ich war jedoch ziemlich enttäuscht über die falschen Informationen auf trip.com bezüglich der Zimmer. Ursprünglich wollte ich ein Chalet mit 2 Zimmern buchen, da wir eine Gruppe von 2 Paaren sind. Als ich die Buchung vornahm, gab die trip.com-Website an, dass 1 Zimmer maximal für 2 Personen geeignet ist. Also musste ich natürlich 2 Zimmer buchen. Als ich im Resort ankam, war ich schockiert, als ich herausfand, dass ich getäuscht worden war und für 2 Chalets mit 4 Zimmern bezahlen musste! Das andere Chalet haben wir natürlich nicht genutzt. Es war völlig unfair, dass wir aufgrund der falschen Informationen auf trip.com für 2 andere Zimmer bezahlen mussten, die wir überhaupt nicht brauchten. Ich verlange von trip.com eine Entschädigung für meinen Verlust und es sind 4 Tage vergangen und ich warte immer noch auf eine Antwort von ihnen bezüglich einer Lösung.

Visibly clean, but dirty if you looked close (moldy shower). In the standard double that I stayed in, you will get two (only 2) outlets in your room and neither will be near the bed. You will have one trashcan in the bathroom that is smaller than a gallon/two liters. Other than that, not horrible. The restaurant is very expensive if you’re traveling on a budget (€40 Weiner schnitzel, so I would recommend finding something else to eat. If you plan on having more than a coffee for breakfast, definitely get a breakfast plan st the hotel. It is about €12 a morning and a cappuccino will run you about €8 euros in the resturant. A breakfast plan gets you whatever you want in the resturant in the morning for free!  If you’re planning on exploring the area, you’ll definitely want a car or bike, do NOT rely on public transit or you will end up paying a lot for taxis. You also cannot rely on uber because you’re too far away from Salzburg.

Disappointing stay at this hotel. 1. Thermostat not working within the room were the ambient temperature I guess was around 25 degrees. As front desk to resolve and was advised that none of the thermostats within the hotel worked as it was centrally heated. Advise was to open the window...obviously the front desk rep would not have slept in this room with the window open to the traffic noise. 2. Paid room tax by cash upon arrival and requested receipt for expenses and was advised i would receive this at checkout. So at checkout I was then advised the hotel had emailed the receipt to me and as you can guess I never received. Front desk then advised it was being resent and likewise never received. To the manager...I will ensure a return visit to your hotel in the coming weeks and expect you to refund my 4.50 Euros!

Mir hat es sehr gut gefallen. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und der Empfang war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für nicht-fließende Englischsprecher war es kein Problem, einen Übersetzer zu verwenden, was sehr zuvorkommend war! Ich werde beim nächsten Mal wiederkommen.
